Not only was Caitlin the first to respond to my project request, she was quick, knowledgable, professional, and provided more than just grammar checks. She gave effective and thorough constructive criticism - which is exactly what I needed when writing my personal statement for a research fellowship. Highly recommend!
Laura is patient and a very good teacher. She tailors the lessons to the student and has great knowledge and ability. My daughter loves her and the lessons!
Alex is a great tutor. I was struggling with calculus and he was able to guide me. He makes you work through the problem and truly conceptualize what is infront of you. Highly recommend
I want you to know how much I value your support. I almost got a perfect score! I'm the LUCKY ONE when I hired Arbor Tutors. Your help and assistance has been immeasurable.
We met and subsequently hired Saili to tutor our gifted and talented son. She is impressive and we look forward to working with her.
AR has been tutoring our 9 year old the past 2 months and it has been a great experience. We have seen great growth in this short time. AR was able to properly assess and diagnosis areas that were problematic and preventing progress with reading. Our child is excited about his time with her as she makes each session fun. He is incentivized to put in the effort needed to get his assignments done. She has been very flexible with our busy schedules. As parents, we feel so much better about the direction our child's education is going. We are so greatful for AZ and highly recommend her as a tutor. Most importantly our son loves his time with her and he is getting what he needs to succeed and feel confident with reading. DA Parker CO
Minnie was very responsive and helped us get the best tutor within the time constraints we presented to her. We are very happy with the service Peak Performance provided for SAT prep.
We love working with Moises! After just two weeks of tutoring, my daughter said "Now I understand the mistakes I have been making in math and I also understand how to do it right next time. I am starting to like math." Moises knows how to teach so that the information goes from short term memory to long term memory. We also have my son taking guitar lessons with Moises. He loves it so much he has requested lessons twice a week. We feel fortunate to have found someone who can work effectively with a student with ADD and that is an overall great teacher and kind person.
Amazing patience for kids of all levels. And gets results regardless of the math class and skill level. Really builds a foundation of skills that the kids will use in future classes as well.
I appreciate Ann as an online tutor. Ann is a certified Reading Interventionist with a big heart for helping kids succeed in the area of reading. I met Ann through a group I created called The Ultimate Support Group for Online Tutors. She is always willing to help others, be of service, speak at conferences, and share her knowledge. I have had the opportunity to watch Ann teach lessons to kids through videos she has submitted to me, and I was impressed with how well she connected with her students and how effective she was as a tutor. You would have to be crazy not to hire Ann.
Communication with our tutor was great. He made it easy for us to find and meet him, gave a super review. All question are answered for complete understanding. He makes himself available on short notice!
she is a phenomenal tutor. She is dependable and was a huge part of all 3 of my children's academic success. They are all straigh A students now due to Hannah. They often mention her and miss her dearly. I would highly recommend Hannah.
My son has some challenges with mathematics, and especially with test anxiety. Sandy is a calm and reinforcing mentor and tutor, and she quickly created a trusting relationship with my son so that he could feel safe making mistakes. She creates an atmosphere where my son can come up to speed in the subjects that challenge him personally, and she is thoughtful in setting goals and a path for success. She is an excellent tutor.
Noel has tutored me in physics and in calculus. In both classes I struggled the first semester until I found Noel. He was able to teach me the things I didn't understand and also helped me with my test anxiety. I had other tutors before Noel and Noel has been the best out of them all. His experience in math and science shows through when he tutors me. I highly recommend Noel as a tutor.
Walt was amazing with my 8 yr. old daughter, he was patient with her and found ways to help her better understand the math she is currently learning. He was also on time and very pleasant. Most importantly, my daughter likes him :)
Convenient tutoring is available for K-8 in reading, writing, grammar, and spelling. I will meet you at a library or coffee shop, or I could even do lessons in home. I am a college graduate (BFA), with an average GPA of 3.4. I love reading and writing, and I understand the huge difference these skills make on overall student performance. Let me help your students through fun, one-on-one lessons. Let me help them with their essays and language arts homework. I have evening and weekend availability.
I have twenty-five years of experience teaching writing (prep school) and freelance writing and editing (academic and trade manuscripts); reasonable rates, attentive to detail, conscientious about meeting clients' needs, consistently meets deadlines
Patience and trying to convey things in different facets helps people to grow faster.
I offer reading, writing, and test prep tutoring services to all ages. After graduating with honors from Lesley University with an M.Ed. in English Education, I worked for three years as an English teacher. During this time, I taught English 8, English 10, English 12, AP Language & Composition, Creative Writing, and SAT Reading & Writing. I also taught after school and weekend SAT Prep sessions. I am a licensed educator for English 8-12 in both Massachusetts and Texas. I also hold a supplementary license in special needs education in Texas. Additionally, I have experience working with both special needs students and English language learners. I left teaching when my husband's job moved us to Colorado and we decided to have a baby. I've been working as a freelance writer and editor for over a year. However, I miss working with students and am looking to expand my services into tutoring.
I have passion for teaching Mathematics and would love to share the knowledge with the students as well as help and guide in their homeworks.
I teach sixth grade level math in a reasonable and understanding way. I am very personal with students, and I want success!
