We were delighted to have Jeni, owner of Sweet Little Thing Bakery, do our wedding cake for us last weekend! We absolutely recommend her bakery! We found Sweet Little Thing Bakery through Thumbtack and every step of the process was fantastic. Thumbtack was extremely easy to use and we were in communication with Jeni within a day after filling out our request. We had a three-tiered wedding cake (to feed 100 people) and a dozen gluten-free cupcakes with the same flavor profile. The entire wedding cake experience was so fun and Jeni made it a delightful and easy process. She is very accessible by email and phone, and we were able to coordinate cake samples where we chose the flavor combinations. Putting together your own wedding cake flavors was fun and a delicious step in the process of choosing a wedding cake. Sweet Little Thing Bakery specializes in gluten-free and other dietary restrictive baking. While we did not need a gluten-free cake, it was a wonderful option for us to add a dozen gluten-free cupcakes. Our guests were so excited to see this and every one of the cupcakes was eaten! For the cake design, I sent Jeni some photos of cakes that I liked, and she was able to create a beautiful cake that fit our theme perfectly! We got so many complements on the cake (inside and out!). My husband made our wedding cake base, and it was wonderful that Jeni was able to so easily and willingly incorporate it. Sweet Little Thing Bakery is a wonderful find and we are so thankful that we were able to have Jeni help make our day even more special. We absolutely recommend Sweet Little Thing Bakery! Our experience with Samm was flawless. She communicated in a timely and professional manner, had an awesome tasting for us to try different flavors of cakes as well as macarons and hand pies, and her prices were unbeatable. We sent her a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like, and she absolutely nailed it. It was so beautiful that we didn't want to cut it, but we knew we wanted to because of how delicious it was going to be!! Our guests raved about the lemon cake with raspberry buttercream icing and the pistachio and salted caramel macarons!! Samm helped make our wedding day perfect!! Our highest recommendation!!
