"Working with Colorado Wedding Ministers was an absolutely delightful experience. Ken and Kris gave us great guidance, warm support, timely information and professional support needed to plan the perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We also appreciated the friendly, patient and professional guidance to take many memorable photos or both the wedding and reception, particularly the time taken to ensure that we were able to capture all of these precious memories on film! Most importantly, thank you for being a vital part of creating the perfect mood for everyone to enjoy the experience of participating in a beautiful wedding ceremony, reception and creating these priceless photo memories for everyone!
We loved Rev Karen Mohr! She officiated our wedding last weekend. She was professional through and through. We felt from our first meeting that she got who we were as a couple and understood what we were looking for in our ceremony. We were 100% comfortable with her and the amount of information she provided for sample ceremonies and questions to ask was invaluable. We received many compliments on the ceremony. Everyone loved the ceremony itself and how wonderfully it was delivered. I couldn't have been happier with her service and I could not recommend her enough! Thank you for a wonderful wedding ceremony. It was so lovely to get to know you! Sarah and Justin
Teri was wonderful from first meeting to her, to helping coordinate our vows, the ceremony to her comic relief starting the ceremony. She braved the Colorado elements and roads with a spring snow storm to make sure our day went well. Truly wonderful and blessed to have found her!
Carey was SO AMAZING. It is really quite obvious she does weddings just because she loves to do weddings (not the money, which she charges almost nothing, comparitively). She was so helpful from the very beginning to the very, very end. From day one she was right there helping us. She took time out of her day to meet with us in person for over two hours (not just a quick 30 minute meeting), getting to know us first, so as to carry out this intimate and personal event perfectly. She went above and beyond at every step from helping us to create the perfect vows (which we had no idea how to do), to leading a perfect rehersal and then the ceremony, and she made sure we did it exactly the way we wanted it. At our reception, we decided to have an informal "come and help yourself" with the dessert which would have been fine. People can cut pie, that's no problem. My mom and aunt were there helping anyway, so it was fully covered. But, none the less, just because Carey was "in the moment" and she loves to do weddings so much, she went right ahead, got behind the table and started serving up the dessert--without being asked. And you could tell she loved it! Her dedication is layers deep. Carey loves doing what she does for the sheer joy of doing it, and it shows. We will NEVER forget what a wonderful day it was, so perfect thanks to her supportiveness, open mindedness and love. We love you, Carey!
Rev Kristen Hepp was outstanding from start to finish. I first contacted Kristen about a month before our actual wedding date. She returned my phone call the same day and was open to telling me all about her professional experience and I shared my ideas with her about what me and my now husband wanted. We met for coffee a few days later. She came prepared with all necessary documents to sign to secure the date and also reviewed ceremony and vow options with us. She was prompt and enthusiastic about our ideas. I was very impressed that she could make us feel so comfortable. We were married 12.13.14 and opted for a package that was very resonably priced and included cake, champagne, boutonnière, a bouquet of flowers for me,15 photos and we were even able to choose from a variety of flavors and flower options ahead of time. The day of Kristen and her photographer were on time to our cabin. They set up all documents to be signed after the wedding and even brought portable flutes, plates, and plastic wear to enjoy our delicious cake and champagne. We wanted a very private, beautiful, ceremony along the river behind our cabin and that's exactly what was delivered. The perfection to me of it all was attention to details and how special they made us feel. The little things like Kristen being early to help me with my dress, the photographer taking a few extra photos for us on our phone to send to our family right after, and Kristen offering to file our certificate for us all meant the world to us. Colorado Commitments, Kristen, and the photographer went above any expectations that Joey and I had. The photos turned out beautiful and were sent to me via DropBox just a few short weeks later. They even gave us extra photos at no additional charge. I'd strongly recommend Kristen to anyone no matter how small or large of a gathering your wedding will be! We thank you again for everything!
We could not have asked for a better minister to conduct our ceremony. After a brief meeting with us, Rev. Kent was able to tailor a ceremony that was 100% befitting to us as a couple. Rev. Kent was humorous, sensitive, caring and personable. We had many comments after our ceremony, telling us how wonderful everything was. It would not have been that wonderful ceremony without Rev. Kent.
I contacted multiple wedding coordinators about 7 months before my wedding and Cheryl Lynn responded to my email within 20 minutes (some coordinators didn't get back to me for a week!) with a detailed list of services she could provide and a very reasonable price. It was her professionalism and enthusiasm that convinced me that she would be the best fit for our wedding. And I was right! Even though I only contracted her for day-of-wedding service, she met with me and my fiance several times, even walking through the venue with us and attending the dress rehearsal. She promptly and patiently answered every phone call and email I sent her, even if it was about something trivial like linens or programs. I came to value her experience and advice so much when negotiating vendors and creating the perfect day. On the day of the wedding, Cheryl Lynn and her staff at An Essential Event were on their game and oversaw so many small details that I was amazed they remembered everything I asked them to take care of - from water bottles for my bridal party to gratuities for my vendors. They were so thoughtful and boxed up some leftovers for my husband and me to take back to our honeymoon suite. The only ripple in the day was that the centerpieces were upside down (to be fair, it was a difficult design feature to assemble), but nobody really noticed except my sister who had purchased them for me. Every one of my guests said they had enjoyed the day, and I can't imagine that it would have been so smooth without Cheryl Lynn and her staff. I truly would have paid three times what I did for this exceptional service, and I wish I had more engaged friends in Denver - I would send them to her in a heartbeat!
I have had the pleasure of attending several weddings this summer where Boyd was the DJ. He plays a huge variety of music from trendy dance to old time favorites to upscale, fancy crowd-pleasers. He has an astounding ability to transition each part of the event smoothly into the next; not only with his keen music ability, but also because he possess a pleasantly strong speaking voice. All guests are swept into the joy of the event so naturally, it would almost be magical if it didn't seem so effortless on his part. This is a true talent. FYI, he books a year in advance, so don't wait too long to reserve one of the most important parts of such a special day!
Pastor Sam made our wedding ceremony a fabulous beautiful memorable humor filled moment to always remember. When we first met him til the wedding day he listened to us tell stories (loved his stories too) and gave great suggestions and everything came to together very nicely. I would recommend him without any hesitation.
You may find yourself asking, "Who will be officiating our wedding?". A very important question this is, and I happened to stumble across a person who is truly a one of a kind. Fatima Hindi is not your typical person, she is so much more in every aspect that most people lack in. She is.incredibly eccentric, unique, and by far the most caring, and understanding soul on this entire planet. I enjoyed every second of hearing her speak and officiate my brothers wedding and she inspired me and my life partner Nicholas Thomas to take the leap and get married knowing we had someone as loving, caring, and accepting as Fatina. She will not only officiate the wedding and just be your ordained minister, but will befriend you and make you feel comfortable in less than a blink of an eye. I strongly recommend any gay, lesbian, straight, and any other couples that want to celebrate their life together beginning with getting married, snag fatina before someone else does. It would be one of the best decisions you make for your special day.
Reverend Barger was an amazing part of our wonderful day. He took so much time to get to know us and make our ceremony exactly the way we wanted it. Our guests commented on what a great job he did! He was very professional but we felt like he was part of the family by the end of our whole experience.
Great service and really friendly staff. Prices were very good also. I would def. recommend this company!!!
Eric was the minister of our wedding at Hudson Gardens. He was great! We told him what we wanted for the ceremony and he gave us suggestions as well. We trusted him and he put it all together and led the ceremony very well:)
Alan was a fantastic minister - did a great job - to bad my ex-wife wasn't as great as him - lol
I administer weddings in Colorado. My name is Gary Thomas and I am an ordained minister living and celebrating life in Denver, Colorado. As an independent minister, I am not associated with any particular church. I have expanded my personal ministry to reach out to people of all faiths and beliefs. My present ministerial roles include the celebration of weddings, special anniversaries and many other events that touch the lives of all God's people. My Beliefs I believe a wedding ceremony is a significant event in the lives of two people to celebrate their love, unity, harmony and the beginning of a new life together. I believe that the wedding day is uniquely yours and that wedding ceremonies should reflect only YOUR religious or non-religious preferences, not mine. I believe that the ceremonial experience should NOT be one based on religious dogma, but should be spiritual, based in truth, uplifting, empowering and FUN. I believe that the wedding ceremony experience should guide you into a lifetime of love, peace, happiness and joy with your spiritual mate! I am more than happy to speak with you about your options in this area and to provide services which will reflect the traditions and customs in which you were raised. It's the love that you and your future spouse have for one another that makes the magic and beauty of the wedding. I'm there to help guide you through it all. I combine humor with reverence, which makes the ceremony, the start of the celebration that is your wedding day. Please know that I am here to support you and your future spouse to ensure that your celebration is what you want, and that it reflects your personality and a fitting tribute to the love you feel for one another. Im open to country western and field service which reflects your personal desires and traditions. It will be important for us to meet together before the service to plan your celebration, and to make sure that I am aware of any special needs or desires you might have. Sometimes more than one meeting is necessary. When we meet we will discuss the music for your service, size of the wedding party, set up and special physical needs, your vows and the ceremony in general. Not all weddings require a rehearsal. However, I am happy to assist with this if requested. If the celebration will involve a large wedding party, it is a good idea to have some kind of rehearsal or meeting with the whole wedding party before the service. I always arrive for the service no less than one hour before the service begins in order to make sure that there are no last minute problems or changes. It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to attain a legal license from the State of Colorado. It is important that this be brought on the day of the wedding so that I can complete the form and it may be returned to the county from which it was issued.
I am officially ordained in the state of Colorado and able to perform wedding ceremonies regularly preformed by a priest.
Available in Colorado and Wyoming, I am a licensed, non-denominational minister, and I am not associated with an organized religion. Therefore, I am able to impart the Spirit of God in performing personal ceremonies to reflect the love He has given the two of you. I pursued my minister's license many years ago because I saw the need couples have for more personalized attention and flexibility from their officiant. I am professional, warm, energetic, reliable, down-to-earth, and extremely flexible. I specialize in the needs of blended families to include their children as an integral part of their ceremony. Because of my vast background, I am confident that I will be able to meet your individual needs by providing a unique combination of wedding coordinating and officiant services.
