After a major catastrophic hail storm, I posted a request for quotes of thumbtack. Darrin from RME contacted me directly via a phone call the same day. Other contractors provided passive responses via email, but Darrin was very proactive in laying out their roof repair process, material used, time lines, and assured us that our assigned RME project manager would be available for questions at any time. Since this was an insurance claim, RME worked directly with our insurance agency for compensation.
As the home owner, we were copied on all documents, quotes, and payment communication between RME and our insurance company. RME completed the work per the schedule discussed and for the price quoted. RME worked seamlessly with their sub contractors (gutters, painter, etc) and was on site at our home at least once a day to check in and ensure the work was up to their quality. Work was was always left clean and any touch ups (punch list items) were corrected immediately to our satisfaction.
During a recent winid storm, 9 months after the roof was replaced, a wind storm broke loose the trim on our skylight and, after an email to Darrin directly, he sent an RME worker to our home the next day and repaired thoroughly at no additional cost.
I don't make a habit of reviewing companies online or leaving reviews for product purchases, but I want to make sure that my positive experience with RME is available for anyone in need of home repairs - especially in an industry that lends itself to some less-than-honest companies.
