I see Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions. Her gentle, healing touch during Reiki has helped me to relax during my busy lifestyle. Kelly’s vinyasa flow classes are amazing and follow a consistent upbeat flow. Sometimes at the end of the week I enjoy a great restorative yoga class to help me unwind after the work week. I highly recommend Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions.
Kelly is amazing! On a whim I decided to try out yoga for my first time but wanted to go somewhere that I would feel comfortable and I am so happy I found Kelly. She is an amazing teacher who keeps the classes fun and fresh. She switches up each class and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend!
I never did Yoga and at 69 I thought it was crazy to start but my daughter insisted we go together just a couple of times... so I did and I now I even go without her. All the teachers are kind, attentive and very knowledgeable. I go to the Gentle Yoga class where I try to master the basic poses with the guidance, and encouragement from the teacher and always feel great at the end of each session. It is both a calming and invigorating experience. Another good thing about this studio is that they have several levels and day and evening hours so I always find a class for me. I can't imagine anyone at any level not benefiting from a class at the Brewster Serene Scene Yoga, give it a try
I love Bre's yoga classes! She effortlessly aligns her personal experiences with yogic philosophy, and then uses this as a theme for each class. She challenges students to consider these themes in our own lives, and with the use of color, offers an opportunity for creative visualization throughout the practice. Bre's sequences are creative and inspiring, and offer a perfect combination of effort and ease, no matter where each student is on the path of yoga. I have been practicing yoga for many years and have attended countless classes led by a wide variety of teachers. Bre is among the best!
Cheryl is an amazing yoga instructor with a warm and approachable method of instruction as well as a wealth of knowledge in the study and practice of yoga and beyond! She heard what my goals were and helped me to achieve them and I can proudly say that I now have yoga as part of my daily life and the results are amazing even at this beginning stage. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to begin their practice or further an existing practice!
Mackenzie was outstanding. This was my furst ecperience with yoga abd i am a 68 year old man. She was very patient snd understanding while at the same time coached me into doing those yoga positions that would help me in the areas where I needed it the most. She was wonderful
I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.

Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. I have been a student of Deb's for 2 years now, and I can't say enough good things about her. After trying yoga a few years ago and not really enjoying it, I thought I'd give it one more try and I'm so glad I did! At my first session, I was a little apprehensive since I didn't know what to expect but Deb put my mind at ease. She started out with easy stretches which slowly transitioned into more challenging poses, providing modifications along the way appropriate for a variety of skill levels. What I loved most about the class was the reassurance she provided. I had always thought that yoga was about perfection, but quickly realized that it was more about listening to your body and pushing it to a comfortable level. After each session I feel calm and refreshed and have seen a significant difference in my flexibility and posture. I even continued to use her during my pregnancy where she was able to tailor poses to my needs and help stretch my back and legs. She is a terrific yoga instructor and I look forward to working with her in the future!
I had the pleasure of first meeting Aari at a group yoga class sponsored by a corporation. The session was to assist people with stress filled careers. What a moment! Aari exuded her love of the principles of yoga with both humor and how she assisted us in feeling like we were capable of doing each movement according to our level of learning. Aari excited me to learn more so I approached her about individual yoga classes. She offered classes in the home and my Aari yoga classes began. Four of my friends and I have been her clients since 2003. She has always and I truly mean always been a person of integrity and one of learning and teaching. Her calm and reassuring manner has helped me through several difficult times in my life as well as my friends. She has helped me use the breathing techniques in my yoga practice to move me in to optimal "chi." I absolutely love how she listens to the body. She is the best at what she does! We now have our teens asking for her before they have tests or when they go through crisis. They love how she uses yoga to create peaceful moments. What could Aari be better at? She could make Aari classes for everyone!
Alison is an amazing yoga teacher. I am brand new to yoga and Alison does a great job of tailoring instruction to my abilities. She's quick to follow up when I have questions and generally communicating with her is a great experience.
After 4 months of Yoga with Meredith twice a week I felt more relaxed, flexible and capable than ever before. She has a calming influence and her classes focus on the flow of the poses rather than simply moving from one to another. Meredith is caring and gives each student the individual attention required and has never pushed anyone further than they can physically go; she is welcoming and accommodating. I couldn't recommend her more.
