There are many factors to consider when choosing a personal trainer. Will they understand my goals? Will they truly want to help me or am I another face at their job? Are they really going to listen to me? I will admit that when I chose Lisa as my personal trainer, it was mainly because I thought to myself "THAT'S who I want to look like". I have always believed that you have to "walk the walk" so to speak...meaning, Lisa works herself harder than she works her clients. That was my (perhaps shallow, but truthful) reason for choosing her. My reasons for carrying on and knowing I made a GREAT choice were many. - Lisa took the time to listen and understand my limitations, and always had ways to adjust my exercises and workouts to specifically fit what I needed, and still be challenging. - RESULTS. I chose short sessions, but whether we saw each other weekly or bi weekly, I SAW results and felt great. - Lisa cares about her clients well being fully, which goes beyond workouts. Her knowledge of health, food, nutrition and general well being was so impressive, and I learned so much from her. I have been training with Noah for approximately 5 months. He is undoubtedly one of the best trainers I have worked with for a number of reasons. First of all, I have a very busy and unpredictable schedule and he has been extremely accommodating and understanding. I have not missed a week since I began in February. He has created a plan that fits my needs and my age very nicely. He is able to get the most out of me, knowing exactly how far I can go. There is no way I would be able to do the same on my own. He is creative in his workouts, which I love because you never get bored. We work a new exercise or two into each session, which is great for the mind and the body. He is absolutely committed to getting me to my goals and knows how to create and execute a clear path toward achievement of those goals. Noah is a student of human physiology and he understands the importance of stretching, which is critical to a person my age. He has introduced me to new stretches which I am able to also do on my own. Last month, I has lower back spasms and he spent an entire hour stretching me in the right places which provided immediate relief. In short, Noah is a committed and reliable trainer who has been the perfect work out partner for me from every perspective. Nina is amazing! Before I started training with her, I tried everything to lose weight and tone but I was not seeing any results. Nina really helped by personalizing both my workouts and diet to exactly what my body needed. I saw results in just weeks! She is very knowledgeable and extremely flexible. I have been going to Enfuse since May of 2016. This is a great place to train! When I first started coming to Enfuse my goal was to lose weight and get strong. I have done both. After working with the two other personal trainers that left me disappointed I was skeptical about Enfuse. Since then I have found my Trainer! Tyler (my Trainer) has been very good to me. He had a wealth of knowledge and knows exactly what exercises to put me through in order to strengthen my weakness and balance out the body. Here’s the thing about Michaela: Not only does she have Prodigious Talent as a personal trainer, but She Meets You Where You Are. I started working with Michaela last June. For reference, I’m 54 and have a body that has dealt with too many surgeries and ongoing Other Stuff. On days when my body is cooperative, Michaela pushes me FAR beyond where I ever thought I would be able to go. As a for-instance, I am chest-pressing 3x the weight I had ever done before working with her, and I’m doing it with Good Form. She knows I want to be Strong, and is getting me there – Safely, Carefully, and at times Viciously :-D Perhaps more important than the heights that Michaela can push me to, though, is her remarkable knack for helping me thru the days when my body is Not cooperative. On those days when I can barely toddle up the stairs, and am near tears with frustration over what I “should” be able to do, Michaela not only can “talk me off the ledge” – and make me laugh – but she can also push me in the Fine-Tuning core work that doesn’t seem like much but is So Key to keeping stable and active. Just last week I was having One of Those Days. Michaela set me to balancing on a Bosu. I felt my calf muscles start to scream, my core muscles wake up and pay attention, and I started to sweat. Amazing that she can make me feel like I’m working when it looks like I’m just Standing There! Michaela Nudges and Pushes and Shoves, and when necessary, Hugs and Dries tears. She is an all-around Brilliant young woman, and I am thrilled to be able to have her kick my butt on a regular basis!
