Ed is a fantastic trainer. I was unsure what to expect from boot camp but I absolutely love it. Ed takes the time to explain each station to us and he will do the station with us if he sees us struggling. He is very supportive and encourages us to the best we can be.
BJ is the man ,I worked on and off with him in group boot camp training . He got me to my goals very quickly and mind you I said on and off. The man knows his stuff. I've learned a lot from this man and BJ thank you for the experience and teaching me how to obtain my goals!
Gabriel Gordon has a unique style of training that pushes you to your limit. He is patient but does require you to maximize your result with proper diet and knowledge of what you are putting In your body. I love the boot camp sessions. and the class environment is Positive and Energetic!!!

I have worked out at many different gyms and bootcamps always looking to achieve the same goal to Lose fat build lean muscle. It wasn't until I met Devon that I actually began to make real progress to my goal. She is truly great at what she does. She checks in with multiple times a week to make sure I am on track with my nutrition goals in addition to my training with her. Every time we train its something new, which I really enjoy beacuse it never gets boring. She incorporates parts of boxing, cardio, weight training and conditioning to every session. I am going to be walking down the aisle Aug 30th for my big day, and my major focus area has been my upper body and arms. I have toned and lost inches in my arms/chest in just 2 months. Devon knows when to push me. shes encouraging when she sees me trying to master a new workout and gives me the confidence to try hard and attempt new things I never would have done or attempted on my own.
Boot Camp and the trainers are fantasic
Christina from Active Wellness responded very quickly to my request for a personal trainer. I originally reached out for a trainer to help keep me accountable in getting back to shape. I have had several fractures along my right arm the past few years which has made it difficult for me to get back into an exercise routine. This place is AWESOME! I will be 40 in December and was looking for something different yet challenging. I have not exercised for years and was not sure if I could do it. Brian and Peto do everything they can to encourage you, explain the exercises and push you beyond what you can imagine. I am only in my second full week and feel great (except sore muscles I never use!) and addicted to the classes. If you really want a challenge and feel great about yourself, do not hesitate to come here. The memebers here are extremely friendly, of all ages, shapes and sizes. Becky's boot camp is an awesome way to get a great work out! Becky is very knowledgeable and makes the workouts accessible to all different work out levels. I lack motivation to work out by myself so if you're like me, this workout group is perfect!! Keeps you motivated for the whole time and it's fun because you're with other people!!

South Eastern Connecticut Fitness Bootcamp is a results-driven conditioning program that will shape, tone, and define your body. There are two class times at 60-minute duration per class. The classes are conducted "on the move" in an indoor/outdoor environment. The class is conducted utilizing a military-style format, using innovative and creative exercises in fitness. South Eastern Connecticut Fitness Bootcamp workouts include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular, speed and endurance, partner resistance, strength training, resistance bands, jump ropes, yoga mats, and stairs. I expand your fitness horizons with fitness games, relays, scavenger hunts, group challenges, wheelbarrow races, kickboxing, plyometrics, box drills, obstacle course, and guerrilla drills. On top of the amazing exercise regimen, you will also receive a nutrition journal and sample menu/meal plans ($25 value). These will be handed out on the first day of class. I will also conduct an initial fitness assessment on all campers on the first day of class.
