I hired Mitch to do a cooking class for 5 girls from 7-10 years old (surprise) . He was very enthusiastic, asked what the girls like the most to cook and offered a few choices of menu that I could pick from. He gave me a list all things that i need to buy for the menu ahead of time. on the day of the class, he arrived on time, played a game right at the door with girls to guess what was he doing in our home.Originally he set the time to be 2-3 hours but he stayed for 4 hours and did not rush anything in order to finish early and his price stayed the same! Mitch started teaching basics of how to hold a knife, how to cut and let all the girls using his knife and cutting tomatoes and onions for salsa, cutting bacon for Pasta Alfredo, etc. He mixed up cooking with fun jokes with girls and gave a history of the food or ingredients where it was appropriate. He was super patient with all the silly or serious questions from the girls. our menu was pasta Alfredo, soft and hard tacos with ground meat and eggless chocolate mouse for dessert. we had a great meal and leftover for the next day. Mitch cleaned up kitchen and utensil well during and after cooking so i did not have to clean at all. I have recommended him to my friends and would hire Mitch again.
Chef Stef is a professional Culinary Chef that teaches you step by step how to prepare different recipes. Every two weeks it's a different menu. He provides you with all the food to cook and all the utensils and dishes you need to prepare a wonderful meal. It's always a fun group and we love cooking together. His knowledge about the different products, where there from, where you can buy them and how healthy they are, is very educational. He sometimes pairs the recipes you have prepared with a tasting of different wines or beers of different regions depending on which recipe you are cooking that day. Chef Stef also provides you with containers to take whatever Recipes you have cooked home for your family and children to enjoy. I highly recommend going to Chef Stef cooking classes.

Denise provided me with weekly meals (lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert) for the first six weeks after giving birth to my first child. Optimal nutrition from whole foods was my priority because I was planning to breastfeed. After having an unplanned C-section, a healthy/balanced diet predominately plant-based with organic/wild caught animal sources became even more important while now being an even greater challenge for me to prepare. I was extremely satisfied with all of the meals that Denise provided and when minor tweaks were needed, she was always accommodating and was able to deliver still very tasty, healthy dishes. As I had hoped, I am lactating well, my son is growing exceedingly well, and I am losing my baby weight at a nice healthy pace. Unexpected, in the weeks after having Denise prepare my meals, I have taken on preparing my meals for the week ahead of time on Sunday, using the same glass containers that I purchased for her meal prep and I have been able to continue the wholesome food for my family. I have even been using some of her recipes from the meals she prepared which she makes available on her website. I would certainly use Denise again and I have already recommended her to friends and family!
On Dec. 5 2014 Peter Milano's outstanding Dish reataurant made the food for a dinner party at my home. Peters expertise in planning a perfect menu for vegan and non vegan diets was ideal. Curried carrot soup, vegetable Gyoza, sole involitini, and the wild mushroom bowl were delicious. All the guests were very impressed and Peter went out of his way explaining and describing the preparation and high quality of the ingredients used. I highly recommend Peters catering to everyone. Chef Jenn demonstrated a level of versatility and professionalism that can't be matched when she held a Thai cooking class for my bachelorette. With last minute notice and requests we were sure we would have had to compromise on she came through with exactly what we wanted. To top it off she did so quickly, and more flexibly than we could have ever asked for! She was knowledgeable, fun, and she fit right in with my crazy group of girlfriends making for an amazing night! My name is Ms. Lola Nathan, a recently retired Public School Administrator. It gives me great pleasure to write this review for Gwen Robinson. I've known Gwen for over 30 years and our best times have been spent singing and cooking. She specializes in vegetarian, vegan, cooked, and raw foods. We have spent many hours preparing dishes like vegan potato salad, whole wheat dinner rolls, vegetarian meat loaf, roasted veggies, vegan eggplant parmigiana, raw seasoned kale, baked sweet potatoes, vegan burgers, all types of potatoes, every kind of vegetable, fruit, cake, apple crisp and so much more. Our latest collaboration was vegan lentil loaf in which we added organic shredded carrots, organic chopped celery, organic chopped onions, ground flax seed, nutritional yeast, liquid smoke and some seasonings to our organic lentils. It was so delicious that the guests I invited for dinner wanted to take slices of the lentil loaf home for the next day. Juicing is an integral part of our health practices. One of our most healthful combinations is kale, spinach, celery, carrots, and a touch of ginger, all organic! We know it's best to juice our vegetables and eat our fruit. Juiced veggies go straight to our cells giving strength and vitality to our whole body. Fruit we eat raw because this way cleanse our digestive system. Gwen prepares excellent fruit platters! Gwen is busy but she makes time for people like me who care about their health and want great tasting food. It doesn't take us long to do anything. I get all the ingredients, she does the preparing with me. Sometimes I just have her prepare meals for me for special occasions! She gets rave reviews, is easy to work with and is patient with all whom she is instructing. Gwen has taught many of my associates and friends how to make different tasty entrées and treats. She has no problem sharing recipes and keeps some with her. Young and old alike love whatever she prepares. She makes her own dough, from scratch, for fried dough & pizzas! Wonderful!! It's very rare to find a cooking teacher as patient, as smart, and as fun as Rosa Ross. We held a Peking Duck class at our home and enjoyed the experience immensely. Rosa took the time to explain both what to do and the underlying principles of why we were doing it -- something rare among teachers today. Our class had people of varied levels and we all were able to learn and participate. From basic knife skills to crafting the perfect dumpling to cleaning and curing the duck to some amazing cooking techniques and shortcuts, Rosa was there to help us along the way.
