Jennifer was extremely creative in getting all my experience, education, and skills on a great looking resume. It was quick and painless. She was great.
Excellent tutor. Very accommodating.
I could not seem to score well on the ACT. I ended up with Arbor Tutors and had a tutor who met me every week for 8 weeks and when I took the test and got an excellent score (33). Worth every cent.
Kevin is a dynamic and effective educator. The indepth feedback that he provided to my son on his writing assignments this past school year is what I've been looking for from his private school teachers since grade school. Kevin has exceptional technical knowledge of grammar which is another area he is focusing on with my son as well as helping him to prepare for the PSAT. We started working with Kevin during the last two months of the 9th grade school year. It was awesome to see the pride my son felt in getting a 98% on his last paper of the year and reading his teacher's glowing comments. I am looking forward to seeing my son finally start the new school year ahead of the curve with getting the extra support that he needs. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Kevin's services. As an educator I know that tutors like Kevin are hard to find.
Mr. Mougy Ahmed has done wonders as a math tutor for our sophomore son! He has a very agreeable, non-threatening tutoring style, and our son enjoyed working with him right away. Our son was getting D's and C's in Algebra II , even with the assistance of a previous math tutor. Mougy came to our house and immediately recognized where our son was misunderstanding foundational concepts in Algebra II, and worked with him to build up that knowledge base and apply those skills correctly. He has been highly responsive in setting up tutoring sessions, sending additional lessons/exercises via email, and even holding extra sessions in advance of math tests/quizzes. As a direct result of Mougy's tutoring, our son earned a B+ and an A on his last two math tests. We highly recommend him to any student or parent who is searching for tutoring assistance.
Alex from Equity Tutors is great. He explains math with real life examples and has helped our son make progress in his advanced math program.
Arbor Tutors has been extremely helpful. I really like the approach the tutors use.
Excellent math tutor.
Ms. Niki was a great tutor who was in constant contact with me throughout the course of my college calculus class. She went above and beyond to help me understand the material as well as sending additional study materials after the tutoring hours. Highly Recommend!
Mrs Belle is a excellent tutor and my son loves meeting with her each week. His reading, writing along with other skills have improved. The progress showed on his class work and report cards. She is very caring. I highly recommend Mrs Belle.
Having Jessica as my son's reading tutor was short-lived due my him receiving a free tutor through his aftercare program right after we hired her. However, the 2 sessions he had with her were productive. He really liked and responded well to her. If necessary, we would enlist her services again.
Nichola is an excellent tutor and really helped my daughter with 6th math.
Amazing teacher. When I came to her, I could only say two things in English and was basically illiterate Now, I'm reading Kant and entering college at 16. Best teacher I ever had.
I started with her tutoring my 6 year old son in reading/writing he excelled after one report card quarter and was on grade level in no time! So I decided to face her tutor my 10 year old in Math even though he needed extra attention and modified work due to his learning disability ms P never gave up and remained professional always communicating with his teacher as well as myself and husband. He is now on grade level. Both of my boys have been tutoring with ms p for over a year! I like her style of teaching and her consistency. She really pushes my boys just enough!
Alexa is a gift. I was fortunate enough to have seen an advertisement in our neighborhood circular. I have a 10-year-old who has difficulty with writing. He is a bright kiddo who had been so discouraged with his writing. The process was so hard for him. We had a great tutor before Alexa but, needed convenience. TO MY SURPRISE SHE WAS AN EVEN BETTER FIT FOR MY SON. He has made so much progress in just 4 months. She really pushes him forward but, in a way that has made him feel more confident vs defeated and exhausted. He has gotten his very first "A" in a writing assignment! this is a huge deal for us. He started using much more descriptive sentences, staying on topic, and began building better summaries. The "A" was just the icing on the cake. Alexa is very communicative. She provides great support outside of tutoring. She requests opportunities to speak with his language teachers. She listens to my concerns and has made specific suggestions - like the 10 min fun writing task we do at home a few times a week as a supplement. My kiddo sometimes does not realize we are doing work at all. We started with Alexa as a way to prevent the summer slump and have decided to continue through the school year because we are both incredibly satisfied with the quality of tutoring she provides.
Ken had many suggestions in the reworking of my resume that gave the document more attention. Thank you Ken for your time and effort.
