Easy to talk to, good listener, good with our dog, learned new ways to approach our dog and her training
I met Denise while working for another dog trainer and realized that as soon as I had a dog of my own I wanted her to help me with training. When I adopted my husky puppy I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting into and was prepared to have a long road of training ahead of me. After my first consult and class I knew that I had found the right person to guide me through my dog ownership. Denise has been nothing but knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderful to work with. She is always quick to answer questions and explain training in a way that I understand. Since working with her my husky is off leash trained, lIves peacefully with cats, and is a joy to work with. Denise was always there to encourage me and to be honest with me when I was making mistakes. My husky went from being an unruly puppy to a well behaved member of my family. She is a superior titled weight puller and is on her way to winning rally titles as well. I will continue to use Denise for my dog training needs.
Jojo is pleasant, helpful and a great teacher! I learned a few techniques I didn't know that helped in training my dog, immensely!! I really liked her style. Highly recommend !
My sister and I first approached PackFit in 2014 for help with our Chihuahua Mix – her name is Mandu – that we had adopted from the shelter. She was terrified of anything that moved and coped by barking. We tried different methods that other dog trainers offered to no avail. Ms. Kimberly is excellent with both dogs and people – her dedication to them is awe-inspiring. The time and effort she’ll put into making your life and your dog’s life better shows her passion to her cause: “training dogs, empowering people, and changing lives.” PackFit offers more than dog training; PackFit gives you a role model that will help you with your own issues – without you even noticing – so that your dog won’t feed off of those anxious and negative cues. Now, this doesn’t mean that Mandu and I are perfect after our in-home sessions with Ms. Kimberly. However, two years later, we’re still taking baby steps in the right direction. I miss Ms. Kimberly and her own pack ever since our in-home sessions ended but thanks to her, Mandu and I are slowly conquering our fears.
Jay of Canine Dominion is more than just the best dog trainer ever. Once you hire him, it's as if he's become a member of your family -- a really smart, experienced, savvy member of your family who's truly invested in the successful training of your dog. He stands behind his dog training 100% too -- willing to provide additional sessions if needed at no additional charge. Jay brings amazing skills plus integrity to boot. Now if only I could find an auto mechanic version of Jay. ;-)
Vicky went above and beyond to help me train our new dog and my family. To train our dog to be around d other dogs, she brought her own dogs to the training session! That really helped me and made a big difference! She was very responsive over emails throughout the session and responded to my questions/concerns over email within few hours. She adjusted the training to suit my specific needs. Will definitely recommend to friends.
I couldn't be happier with the training that we've received from Social Tailwaggers. Jodie, our trainer. is so patient and very knowledgeable. The first time we met, we discussed what training I was interested in and what goals we were trying to achieve for my dog, Cooper. Cooper was around 10-11 months old when we began our first training session. She immediately began to introduce new skills and commands to work on training Cooper. After each lesson, Jodie sends a detailed email outlining all of the skills we worked on and suggestions to help with practicing on my own. Jodie was also helpful with recommendations on types of toys and feeding bowls to help with the energy level of my dog. I would highly recommend Social Tailwaggers to anyone who needs help training a new puppy or an older dog. It is well worth the time, money and effort to have a well trained dog and not only are you going to have a well trained, better behaved dog, it's also a lot of fun time spent with your dog.
Haywood and his staff of experts give each client the individual attention needed to help solve any dog behavioral issue. Sessions are tailored to specific needs, and classes are fun and educational. Haywood and staff helped me transform my shy/timid/over-protective poodle into an obedient and happy and social member of the family. Haywood dog training is the concierge of dog training. I highly recommend them. Top dog for this outfit!
My experience with Kevin was phenomenal! He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable on dog behaviors and helped me to understand too! His level of care and service is very interspesonal. I went out of the country for a week and Kevin took awesome care of my puppy as well as had very successful training sessions with him. What I liked most, he made sure I learned along with my puppy so that I could work on the same things he did in his trainings. He has turned out life around. My pup had no training and now we have a new schedule for everything and I see awesome results! Thank You again Kevin! We will be back and I'll be sure the refer some people to you.
We had our first lesson today. Sharon was great with our dog and with us as the owners. She demonstrated how to work with our dog and then had us do the training exercises. She gave us feedback on how to do them which was very helpful. I would highly recommend BarkBusters and in particular, Sharon.
Mr. Anthony arrived 15 mins early and immediately got to work with my dog. He was extremely professional and well knowledgeable about dogs. He was able to walk my family and I through the entire process of training ourselves and training our dog. I loved his energy and warm spirit. With all that he taught us on how to train our dog I know we’re looking towards a brighter future for our family. Our baby Dice is already getting the hang of the training. He’s so excited to learn. Thank you Anthony for all of your help and knowledge I will DEFINITELY be passing your Information off to other pet lovers.
Hillary has been walking our puppy Chauncey during the week while we are away at work for the past 3-4 weeks. She is great to work with and very trustworthy. Our Chauncey loves her! There is never accidents in the house when we get home and Hillary leaves us notes or text messages letting us know what she did with Chauncey and if he went potty while she was there. She has been working out great and we hope to keep her business for a long time!
We have been with Spoiled Paws for almost 9 years now. It is worth having her stop by the house to let my dog out and enjoy the sun for some time during the day. Caroline does a great job with our dog.
I have a 5 year old, 85 pound pit bull/boxer mix named Bella, who is as sweet as they come, but she was a beast on the leash....pulling and choking herself making walks really unpleasant for everyone. We tried many different things with her, but nothing seemed to be working. We had Kristy over for 1 hour for training. She gave us some new tools to work with and some new techniques and literally I was able to walk her within 15 minutes!! She is like a new dog, and we are BOTH loving the walks together. I HIGHLY recommend Kristy for any dog training that you need. She is fantastic!!!
The best dog care and professional in this area. Honest! Accountable, reliable, fair and affordable. Very accommodating and loving of your pet. Have been using her for YEARS.
I was a little nervous about sending my puppy away for puppy camp but Jessica made it so easy. We were in touch multiple times a day, my dog had THE BEST time and came out of it no longer afraid of people and other dogs. At a small gathering of friends the other night, I beamed with pride as my friends described her as just "loving everyone." This is in part because she learned socialization early and it's easier for her to bond and trust (and learn!) Thank you Jessica!
I am a lover of dogs! I have been working with dogs for 24 years. I grew up with pets all my life. I currently have an 8-year-old Border Collie/Corgi mix that I adopted from WARL at 7 months old. I also have two turtles (red-eared sliders aged seven and three) and lots of fish.
I grew up with a lovely lab in my grandmother's house. I started to be fully engaged into pet caring at the age of eight. I can do walking, training, feeding, playing and sitting with dogs. After that, I was walking my friend's dogs when they could not walk them and taking care of them for the given time period. I have more experience in sitting with big dogs, but I can manage small dogs too. Two years ago, we got a puppy who for some reason required lots of care such as overnight sitting, taking to the hospital, feeding and walking issues. He died because no one told us that he was seriously ill. I felt really bad after that moment, but he gave lot of useful experience of caring for a dog. He taught what is true love, and I am thankful he got to us even though he was not strong. This taught me to be very attentive to the pet, careful and accurate in interpreting their movements, their mood and wishes. I currently have two dogs back at my home. Even though I could not bring them over to college, I spend plenty of time with them when I am at home and trying to give them as much love as they give to me. I love dogs more than anything in my life, and I'm trying to make sure all people who have pets love their pets and ready to put their work aside and spend extra time with lovely creature, if needed.
I have worked in a vet hospital forover 6 years and was a mobile dog and cat groomer for over 7years. Because of my experience I am able to give meds. If needed to your pet. I also have experience with birds. I've clipped wings, done nail trims and filing beaks.
I will walk, train, or sit for your dog while you are at or away from home. Multiple-dog homes are welcome.
