Karen is amazing! I really enjoy taking lessons. I am learning a lot about singing, including my bad habits. If you are looking for an instructor for voice lessons, no matter your level, then Karen is the real deal!
Sandra is very professional motivates my daughter. I can notice the improvements in my daughter's voice after only 3 lessons.
I have been working with Kevin for a few months now and have really enjoyed my sessions. He is very flexible and really pays attention to my interests/style. I look forward to many more sessions and the ability to play a few songs with good skill in the future. I have done in-person lessons as well as video sessions and both have been great. It's nice to have the different options. Kevin is awesome!
In under a year, Christi Griffith took my amateur singing voice and by the end of my lessons with her, I very nearly switched my major in college to Opera. Whether it's for fun or for work, your singing voice, stage presence, delivery and mind/body connection with yourself will improve dramatically.
My daughter has been taking private vocal lessons from Ken since she was 8 years old and she is now 14. We have obviously been pleased with his ability to teach and protect the voice. Some coaches are simply in it for the money, but Ken is not. He honestly cares about his students and he is extremely motivated by his passion of teaching to help each student reach their full potential while protecting their most valuable asset, their vocal chords.
Maria Yerdon is an amazing teacher of both voice and piano. I have had experience with many music professionals, and taught both music and piano myself. It is Ms. Yerdon whom I seek out to further continue my own personal learning and development. Her passion for music is contagious and she conveys that to each and every student, no matter their experience level. It is energizing to learn from her, because she has a way of communicating hard to understand concepts in a way that makes them achievable to master. I value her as both a teacher and mentor.
I immediately felt a change in my voice after just a few lessons with Ms. Karen. She is an excellent teacher, and works very professionally. With her guidance, I have expanded my range greatly and have learned many different styles of singing. I have been able to work out certain "kinks" in my voice that I'd had for ages as well. Last November, I gained a superior rating at the district Solo and Ensemble festival-- which I could not have gotten without Karen's valuable help and experience. Additionally, I have received a part in my school's musical with her assistance for my audition piece. I am very comfortable around her and I put much trust into her work. She is a very kind woman, and I feel like I can achieve anything with my voice because of her. Karen cares so much for all of her students and I am extremely gracious that I have Ms. Karen for a teacher.
I have always wanted to sing but never really had the chance. She is very flexible with time and the singing lessons are amazing and fun! We do fun activities to warm up our voices and I feel very comfortable around her. She does a wonderful job and I really enjoy taking lessons from her! ❤️❤️❤️
Ms. Minnie is an awesome, loving and an extremely caring teacher. Ms. Minnie goes out of her way to make the children feel special and very confident about themselves. Ms. Minnie holds 2 recitals each year and my Daughter looks forward to every single one. She commends each chil with beautiful trophies and always has a special speech prepared for each of her students. My Daughter has been with her for 2 years and has mastered the piano to the fullest. She is about to start taking guitar lessons with Ms. Minnie really soon. I would recommend Ms. Minnie to any child or adult who is looking for a loving and concerned teacher and friend. She is the greatest!!
Kevin has an amazingly obvious love for music and for his students as well. His high energy and good humor, makes students of any level feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only is he a phenomenal singer, he has a great talent for understanding what your overall goals are with your lessons. He knows the voice and I think that is the strongest quality in a vocal teacher. Thank you Kevin, you are wonderful to work with.
Music of the Heart School of Music offers very affordable Music Lessons. Percival Wallace is a very devoted piano & voice instructor with a lot of patience. Working with Percival Wallace as a Guitar Instructor has been a great experience.

Mr. & Mrs. Fleck both received Bachelor of Music degrees plus one year's study toward their Masters (on full fellowship) at the renowned Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY and both received the coveted Performers Certificate from that institution. Mrs. Fleck studied there as a younger student in the Preparatory Department of ESM as a budding concert pianist. The lure of New York City proved too strong for them to complete their masters degree....Bill was invited to join the Metropolitan Opera Studio...the touring wing of the parent company...and both he and Lynne went on to establish themselves as talented professional performers for several years in NYC before being invited to relocate to San Francisco to join Western Opera Theater, again, a touring company associated with the San Francisco Opera Company....they've both done a bit of touring! When those engagements were terminated (nobody stays with WOT more than three years) and a faculty position opened up at CSU, Sacramento, Bill applied and was appointed as assoc. Professor of voice and opera at that school. When his professional engagements took him out of town, Lynne was a natural choice to provide the students with the instruction they needed....the students actually benefitted from the slightly different perspective of soprano and bass-baritone voice examples. As all good things do, the job came to an end because of the lack of an advanced degree and the Flecks moved once again, this time to the Boston area where Bill had established himself as a regular with the famed Boston Opera under Sarah Caldwell and also where he secure a position as voice/opera teacher at the University of Lowell. When he got too busy with rehearsals at the Boston Opera, guess who again filled the gap left by his absence....you got it...Lynne! Well, after a few years went by, Bill was tapped to join the Metropolitan Opera as a regular artist, meaning that he performed several times a week in both supporting and featured roles, while "covering"....read "standing by"...for the lead roles which were performed by international stars. Lynne had quite a number of piano students coming to their home in Ridgefield, CT during this period. They just recently moved from CT to New Smyrna Beach where they will not miss, one bit, the ice and snow of New England
As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity.
