Donna Shelley is amazing! She is the best dance teacher I ever saw. She took my youngest brother in hand and gave him dance lessons for his Bar Mitzvah. She not only taught him to dance, but she choreographed and taught him to do a Mother/Son dance for his Bar Mitzvah, which means she also had to teach my Mother. The combined effort took about 4 months, a task that we, my Dad, my family thought would be impossible, but we were wrong, she did it, and it was a success all around.

Sandra immediately made me feel at ease and very comfortable when I met her at the studio. She has a genuine smile and is authentically friendly and makes the lessons fun. I feel like I have learned a lot in just 2 private lessons...I am very glad I made the decision to learn from her and look forward to more lessons in the future.

We've been taking dance lessons on and off for years from a handful of different studios. We've generally been disappointed. Either there wasn't a good connection with the instructor, or the steps/combinations being taught couldn't be performed by anyone other than a professional, or it felt like the studio was more interested in selling more classes than you becoming proficient. We couldn't be happier with ADC and our instructor Shirley in particular who is the best instructor we have ever had. All the instructors who have taught us there are good, but Shirley combines outstanding dancing skills with terrific teaching skills and a bubbly positive attitude. Learning to dance is hard, but she makes it fun and seems as excited as we are when we execute a new sequence correctly. She also teaches the name of the step and is happy to help you record the steps you just learned so that you can reference them later.ADC isn't the closest studio to us, but its worth the drive. If you are interested in learning to dance in a supportive, no pressure environment that delivers results, this is the place for you.
