Latest Review: After working in an office environment for roughly half a year, I began to realize I was on the road to gaining weight and that it would make it much more difficult to maintain a decent level of fitness if I allowed the trend to continue without doing something beforehand. The thing is: I didn't know where to start, exactly.
That's when I decided to check here for a trainer. After a few test training sessions with some other trainers, a great many of them seemed quite frankly uninterested. There was a lot of watch checking, and on one occasion the trainer walked away while I was in the middle of repetitions! I was beginning to wonder if I would be better off figuring things out on my own and came close to aborting the idea altogether.
Before I turned in the towel for good, I decided to give things another shot with David. I'm glad I did. From the very first session onward, he asked questions about my well-being and personal lifestyle choices and took them into consideration. He never walked off in the middle of repetitions, and seemed genuine in wanting to help me meet my fitness goals. There was another thing that stuck out with me, and that was that he had clear answers to my questions. I've asked him questions about eating patterns, how the body copes in this or that scenario, how to fix things such as flat feet, and more. Despite the abundance of questions, he gave detailed, honest explanations to each of them. He's also helped me with matters of nutrition, letting me know specifically what is to be avoided and what isn't.
Additionally, I would have to say that David's no slouch when it comes to moving you onward to the next stage in your fitness goals. He WILL push you, but he does watch carefully to make sure you're doing everything correctly and will do whatever he needs to in order to prevent future injuries.
When all is said and done, I'd say I wouldn't have made it as far as I have with quite as much speed without his help. If you're looking for a trainer who is informative, knowledgeable, and motivated to help you meet your fitness goals without treating it like a side job then I would say David definitely would qualify for the job. Just bring a little motivation and a positive attitude and I'm sure things will begin to work out for you, too!
