Bailey C. says, "Work with William, period. One of the most professional and communicative people who offers his services at a great value - with clean results built solidly! His work was detailed, fast, and he sent photo and video updates of progress. I had a large project that involved building multiple items in a home, and unboxing a ton of items (picture a mountain of 100+ boxes) - and I was unable to be in the home at the time, so William shared pictures of each item after building it and a video summary in the end. I came home to find everything not only built well, but he also took time to look at sample pictures I sent and helped place everything in the rooms and places I was targeting. He also organized the massive amount of boxes and plastic, keeping the things to dispose of organized and out of the way. All of the positives, and there are 0 negatives: Polite and understanding, he took time to listen to the needs and details of the project, and literally did everything and more. Extremely fast. We connected via Thumbtack at night and he was in the home early the next morning. Detailed - He checked his own work before I came in with a magnifying glass lol and it was great to see his excitement of it all coming together. He also didn’t just assemble and walk away. I have prepared pictures of what I targeted for the rooms to look like and he took the time to move everything to the right spots, down to the detail of even where the rugs were placed. Competitive pricing. I obtained quotes on the same project from others and the methods to count the costs of the project were similar, but William’s were very straightforward with the cost agreed upon before the work started. And, as we talked about more and more that I needed to assemble, he gave discounts for the additional work. A different contractor quoted a range of prices for each item that needed to be assembled and gave the initial quote at the highest end of their rates and said it will most likely be lower when they get to the home and start opening things, because they don’t yet know the complexity of each item. This makes sense, and they had great reviews on Thumbtack too and called right away to discuss the details of the job so I felt they would do the job well, but that unknown of the price upfront, seeing it was high and may or may not come down wasn’t sitting right, and William’s communication was fast and detailed and in the end, he offered a better rate and a real discount because of how large the project was. Trust - I had to have a lot of trust in someone to let them in my home without meeting them or being there. We never talked about that, and without asking, he sent a video update as he left the home, showing everything assembled, where it was located, where the trash was organized (cut down and he fit as much as possible in the trash and recycling cans and organized all that didn’t fit into one spot), and he showed the doors were locked when leaving and lights were turned off. I didn’t ask for that, he literally did that on his own, and I really appreciated that. He was so awesome from start to finish that if anyone gave him less than 5 stars, I wouldn’t believe it. William clearly cares about the quality of his work, and I’d work with him again anytime."See more
