About

I provide music/beginner guitar lessons for a six- or 12-string guitar and bass guitar, helping all ages to find the joy in learning how to play and enjoy the guitar or bass. The students will be learning the notes, along with finger exercises, proper posture, beginner chords and progression, discipline in practice sessions, tuning and voice introduction and singing options, progression and strumming techniques. The students will be able to apply much of what they learn to other instruments should they go on with their training. The students should already have a desire and enjoy music. Also, already having a guitar or bass is very important for home practicing. I can help you acquire a reasonably priced one if need be. The lessons run for approximately 45 minutes to an hour once a week. If you would like more than once a week, this can be arranged at a reduced cost. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on the road to the very exciting journey of learning the guitar and the happiness and joy that comes from the sound of music that you can personally create! Beginner class number one will run for 3 weeks, depending on the students' progress. Class number two and three follows at your convenience. I'm thanking you in advance for your consideration! Ben

About

So far I have had two lessons, and they have both been fun and educational! I had taken lessons years ago, and it was the most boring thing ever. After my first lesson, Wolfgang had already taught me a simple song, and a bunch of the open chords. I am definitely happy in my choice to use Wolfgang to teach me guitar!

About

I have known Chris for over Thirty years, and have benefited greatly from his knowledge of and passion for music. He has been a mentor on my chosen instrument (which is the bass guitar), and taught me many concepts that opened doors of perception as I pursued my personal quest to master my instrument. He has recorded, mixed, and mastered many of my personal song projects with great results. His knowledge of studio equipment and techniques is impressive. He is a master of his instrument (the guitar) and all the associated gear, hardware, effects, amps, etc. My personal home studio would have been impossible for me to get up and running without his advice and direction. On a personal note I consider him one of my lifelong friends. He is both humble, and humorous. You can’t go wrong choosing his services and wisdom in any area involving music performance, theory, and production. Sincerely, Robert Rice

About

I came to Alfredo about half year ago when my daughter decided to start to learn guitar lession. I was not so sure how she will do since she never had musical instrument before. she was only 8 yr old, and had no idea what to expect, but that feeling was soon alleviated by Alfredo's welcoming and easy going nature. Mr. Alfredo is very knowledgeable and passionate about the music. and he has very good teaching experience as well. He has been able to make custom lesson plans based upon the pace that my daughter is progressing. She was motivated to try out the new tips and new songs. So far, she has learnt a lot of famous songs, and she is very proud of playing in front of people, like performing on stage. My daughter has continued to take lessons from Alfredo for almost half a year now, and we are extremely happy with the educational environment that he provides. He is a very patient, caring, kind teacher, and with a positive attitude and passion for music and a great heart, I would not hesitate to recommend him to any level of guitar player.

While there maybe many great guitarists, not very many are necessarily great teachers. Jeff is one of them. He was excellent at understanding what I wanted from the experience and structured my lesson to satisfy my goals. I am looking forward to working with Jeff in the future.

About

I began my guitar lessons with Dave Garski initially knowing nothing at all about music theory or how to play the guitar. By the time that I ended my lessons with him three years later I was able to figure out and write my own music. I as well learned and became comfortable with many different scales. What I appreciated about Daves Teaching methods was the one and one teaching style. I think it allowed for a more personalized education plan that was custom tailored to my specific needs, in my areas of strength/difficulties in music. While a appreciated the free form teaching methods that he also practiced, I would have preferred teaching that was a bit more structured. Overall I have to say that I had an incredibley positive experience from Dave Garski's "guitar lessons orlando" and would, if I still had the financial means, continue my lessons with him if I could.

About

As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity.
