I was looking for a chef to work with on an ongoing basis, to provide whole food, organic meals for my family. Chef Dameon has exceeded every point on my wish list. I was impressed initially speaking with him over the phone, it was easy to sense his passion for cooking. Chef Dameon personifies the saying how you do anything is how you do everything. Arriving not on time but early, he treated my kitchen with respect and professionalism. Working cleanly and efficiently, he produces meals on caliber with any elite 5 star restaurant. Chef Dameon is a blessing to our family, as a busy working mom running her own business with little time to cook, he has brought life back to my kitchen. Thank you Chef!!

Corwin catered my granddaughters sweet 16 last night at The Crystal Ballroom in Casselverry with very little notice and the food was fantastic! Tony, came to our home and prepared an extraordinaire meal with steak, lobster and chicken,veggies, etc and a wonderful dessert presentation, all on an outside venue (outdoor barbecue in outdoor kitchen) at our home for our Company Christmas Party .The food was scrumptious and all guests were very impressed also. .Tony and his staff were just absolutely wonderful and went way beyond our expectations in their service throughout our entire event. I will definitely use Tony again in the future !!! :-))

On short notice, Gatherings was able to prepare a luncheon experience for almost 100 Mexican students and teachers who visited the American Space Museum for a day of touring and activities. The tour group had a budget of $12 per student for food and Janey Hicks of Gatherings worked with us and the tour leader to come up with a delicious "all-American" menu for the event! While other caterers we contacted offered sandwiches and potato chips, Gatherings arrived with herb-roasted chicken, homemade macaroni & cheese, a beautiful tossed salad with three different homemade dressings, dinner rolls and a homemade cookie or brownie for dessert. The kids and adults alike loved it and snuck back for seconds. We loved it because Janey and her staff were on-time, set everything up, delivered delicious hot food, tore down afterwards and left that part of the museum exactly as they found it. They interacted well with the students (despite a language barrier!) and grown-ups, as well as with the museum staff. We will be using them again for many if not ALL of our catering needs!

I want to thank you for making my daughter's first birthday party as special as I could have imagined. You not only met my expectations, you surpassed them! Every single guest had only great things to say about the cake, the appetizers, the food, the decorations, the desserts, omg the desserts, can we have some more? 😋The food was very tasty and presented and served very professionally. Our guests were hesitant to eat the candies and desserts because they looked so beautiful they didn't want to 'destroy' the work of art. But once they started, they couldn't stop themselves. Your crew worked really hard throughout and after when cleaning up. You were so easy to work with, always available and ready to answer any questions I had about the preparations of the party. If I could I would give you more stars but the limit is 5. I would definitely recommend GSCakes to anybody who's planning any event needing catering and cakes. You showed to be the best of the best and I will surely contract your services for our next event. Thanks again for making our daughther's First birthday party one to remember forever.

    I recently hired Julissa to make a birthday cake for my fiancé. I sent her some pictures and random ideas for flavors... The most important thing being that it ia gluten free. She created the most amazing cake (looked just like some pictures)! The best part was none could tell it was gluten free (even those who swear gluten free tastes bad)!!! It was a delicious banana cake with peanut butter buttercream and fondant. I highly recommend her for any pastry needs. In fact, I am having her do my wedding cake and food for the reception later this year (if the food is anything like the tasting it will be amazing). On top of the amazing quality of design and taste, the service has been so spectacular! They are attentive, flexible, and go the extra mile to make sure everything is good.
