Our first session today with Ms.Marcia. Ari was very nervous. But I was taught Piano today for the 1st time ever. Tried to put my daughter at ease. Miss Marcia was kind and patient with Ari. I greatly appreciated that. I know as time goes on Ari will open up more. I learned a few things today and Ari also helped Ms.Marcia teach me..lol. I look forward to getting our own piano to practice on. And see Ms.Marcia for our next lesson.

We are thrilled with our son's music lessons at Maestro Maines Studio! Our son has had both drum lessons and steel pans lessons, and he has enjoyed both! In fact, he loves the steel pans class so much that he looks forward to that class all week. As a homeschool family, I am thrilled that homeschool classes will be added starting in January, along with a group steel pans class. Yippee! It's businesses like this that make me love our community. Give it a try! Your kiddo(s) will probably love it!

Kiarah is an incredibly talented pianist and piano instructor!! She doesn't just teach you how to play piano...she teaches you how to make music!! She makes sure her students not only learn how to read music, but also makes sure they learn technique and proper form when playing in order to avoid hand and wrist injuries. She also holds recitals each year which are unlike any others I've attended. Her students are taught how to perform professionally in front of an audience. Both of my boys absolutely love lessons with her. I've used several teachers in the past and nobody compares to her!

Miss Elena’s school in Boca Raton was definitively the best music school in the area. We are so glad we found her, because thanks to this school our kids had an excellent music education. Our older son has been with Miss Elena since he was four, attending the music workshops classes, and he was Elena’s piano student for four years until she sold the school and moved to Sarasota. The methodology used, the dynamic of the lessons and the introduction of new pieces in every class, have kept him interested, motivated, and eager to learn. We highly recommend music classes with Miss Elena.

I began learning to play the cello with Gonca about ten years ago while in high school. She started me off learning the Suzuki method. She provided ample feedback and experienced advice on the nuances of performing during my learning, which is difficult to find in other experienced performers. Whenever I reached an impasse in my practices she would provide me with alternative studies to break through those difficulties. She strives to teach more than just the ability to play, but to cultivate the maturity to become a superb performer. Though it has been a few years since I moved away and had the pleasure to study under Gonca Huff, I am always thinking back to her instruction on every new musical challenge.

About

I am a pianist attending the Pinellas County Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg FL. I have been playing piano for as long as I can remember, and I enjoy teaching others how to play as much as I love to play myself. Although my hourly rate is $25.00, if you wish to pay for weekly hour lessons, a months worth (4 1-hour lessons), this may be an option for $90.00. That saves you $10.00! I do not disappoint, and I will teach you how to play piano and bring you closer to discovering who you are as a musician. If you are interested, you may contact me via email or by telephone. Thank you!

About

I offer piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities. I began giving private lessons to youngsters while still in middle school. I studied the grand European school of piano performance and pedagogy at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Sharing this tradition is my lifelong goal, and I believe that good music should be a central component to our education.

About

My main focus with students is to get them to the point where they can read, play and write music. For composing music, I prefer this be done through online resources which requires a minimal monthly membership fee (comparable to Netflix). The song lists for beginners (younger students) will follow a standard curriculum with classical, traditional and popular songs. Once the student has been able to grasp a better understanding of the piano and reading, they will progress to a more classical-based repertoire. However, I do think it is very important to give the student additional options for song choices he or she is interested in learning. This will help to keep the student interested, engaged and motivated. In regards to younger students, my personal belief is that the piano-learning process is a joint effort, evolving both the student and the student's parent(s)/legal guardian(s); there may need to be coaching to ensure that the younger student practices daily in order to reap the full benefits.
