Ali teaches piano to my 3 and 6 year old daughters. Her approach is developmentally appropriate and kind but firm. After just 1 month, we already have seen tremendous progress.
Taking violin lessons (and now viola) with Paige. It's been a much better experience for me than my first time trying to learn violin. I appreciate that she's willing to adapt her lessons to my own goals and also select music that is actually pleasing to listen to even for an absolute beginner. As some other reviews mentioned, she's also very quick to reply to any messages.
Awesome couldn't have ask for a better instructor. I was so nervous starting out as a beginner on the piano but Ms. Pam made me feel very comfortable and she's very patient. Ms. Pam rocks!
Both of our sons (6 and 9) take piano lessons with Ms. Ruthanna. After my own childhood experience with piano and violin lessons, I have to say my sons are very lucky to have her as their teacher. She's so knowledgeable about teaching them. She does the Suzuki part to help with training them by ear. But, simultaneously, she teaches them note reading, so they are getting a very complete piano education. She's also incredibly patient with them. She wants to connect with them. She moves them right along, but in a positive and encouraging way at all times. She has a great sense of humor and meets them where they are at. I highly recommend Ms. Ruthanna as a piano teacher.
Voice lessons with Elideusa are wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging. I gained a solid understanding of vocal anatomy and technique.
My daughter takes private piano lessons with Nancy. I am ver impressed by Nancy's way of teaching kids piano, she's very patient and caring. She's very thorough when introducing new songs. Nancy made learning piano fun for my 8 years old daughter.
Mostai helped me with initiating the contact between me and my children's music instructor. Since I live on the border of metro Atlanta, I had a feeling that it was going to be a challenge to find a great pianist to teach my children how to play the piano. Mostai went above and beyond and found a great pianist--Lacie! Lacie is doing a wonderful job with teaching my children. My children are enthusiastic about learning to play the piano, and they are progressing to great accomplishments.
My daughter really enjoys taking piano lessons with Mateo. She is really interested in learning the piano and I believe most of that has to do with Mateo's encouragement and engagement level during the lessons. Mateo seems to really care about his students and according to my daughter, he is "really funny".
Kris is an excellent teacher, professional and great with my child. My child is now learning at a faster rate and enjoying piano much more under his instruction. Lessons are super convenient since he comes to our home. Also, his fee is very reasonable for the level of knowledge he had and that my child is receiving.
Jonathan has been teaching my 8 year old son for about six months now. My son is really enjoying his lessons and progressing well. Jonathan is always enthusiastic about his progress and is very encouraging but also firm when needed. Highly recommended.
My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!
Chester is a teacher that perfectly suits my needs, and can be an excellent teacher for anyone. He is friendly enough to make piano lessons interesting and enjoyable, but he also teaches piano very well. He is a great teacher for someone that wants lessons that are knowledgeable, and enjoyable. -Stephen Colletta, age 12
First lesson was very encouraging! Looking forward to more and great things to come!
We have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Myrna for almost 6 years as the piano teacher of our two daughters. Our oldest daughter (currently 9 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Myrna since she was 4 and our youngest daughter (currently 6) since she was 5. Ms. Myrna’s passion for music is only surpassed by her passion to teach children of all ages the piano. As a piano teacher, she molds her lessons to the level of each individual student making every piano lesson a pleasing learning experience in a warm musical environment that each student can happily embrace. Our experience with Ms. Myrna over the years has been one in which we have grown to appreciate music so much more through the fingers of our children playing the piano. Ms. Myrna takes the time to know each child and their personalities. She is insightful of a child’s feelings and emotions and uses that to channel her piano lessons. It’s not unusual to see children that have taken piano lessons with Ms. Myrna to have to say 'so long', only because the student is now headed to college to start a new chapter in his/her life. Above all, Ms. Myrna is a positive influence that helps keep our children well-grounded and focused on the path of success. We love Ms. Myrna and if you are reading this and considering Ms. Myrna to be your or your child's piano teacher....GO for it. You won't regret it.
Ms. Helen is an amazing piano teacher. My son started with her at the age of 5 and we've been with her for 5 years. She is patient, spends so much time with the children, balances the technical aspects of learning piano with enjoyable exercises, allows many opportunities to perform and even compete ... all with the most pleasant personality. She LOVES what she does. She expects a lot but goes at the pace of each child. My son has NEVER asked to skip a lesson. I highly, highly recommend Ms. Helen! Can't imagine anyone better!
I've played the piano my entire life, starting around age six when I took my first lesson. I am now 23 and attending Georgia State University, where I am obtaining my BA in Economics. On the side of going to school, I would enjoy the opportunity of relaying the love and knowledge I have of piano playing to others. I am looking to travel to the client's home to give the lesson but am also possibly considering giving lessons in my own home if you do not have your own piano. Cheers. Zach
I teach piano and singing lessons, music theory and composition lessons. I've taught a college choir as a student for 3 months. I'm probably the cheapest piano and music teacher around.
I'm a sophomore at Kennesaw State University studying Piano Performance. I'm a piano teacher at Community Music Atlanta. I have experience with piano beginning students and intermediate students.
I have 30 years of experience helping people learn to play piano. I love what i do as it makes fun for all. I specialize in working with beginners, children and adults. I love the smile that comes to a student's face when they play there first song, always wanted to play and give it a try.
