First time getting guitar lessons from a pro. Highly recommend
It was my 9 year old son's first guitar lesson and he responded really well to Paige. He even commented on how "supportive" and "nice" she was. Professional and Punctual. A great find in the neighborhood.
Cool guy and super knowledgeable about music. His lessons go much deeper than just learning songs, he's going to teach you the theory behind them and how to understand/deconstruct them, which I really appreciate. You really get a sense that he has a plan for you to improve, he keeps track of your progress and has a program for you as a player. I also like the informal atmosphere, he's easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend him to any player looking to improve.
Excellent first lesson. As an adult learning guitar, Eric's was a more holistic approach that got right into a meaningful lesson activity directly applied to the genre of music of interest to me.
I am loving it!!! Mrs. Pam is great and I am learning to play the guitar but more importantly I am learning to read music!!! Best decision I could have made...it's never too late!!!
Voice lessons with Elideusa are wonderful! She is so patient and encouraging. I gained a solid understanding of vocal anatomy and technique.
I've been taking guitar lessons from Jim Coley for a couple of years now. I was self taught on "cowboy chords" and decided in my mid 40's I wanted to learn different styles, be able to read tabs and learn more about the structure of sheet music. Jim's teaching style has made this challenge a fun and enjoyable learning experience. The selection of music and lessons he works with me on has tremendous range and style from Classic Rock, Latin, Funk, Jazz, Blues and more. I would highly recommend some sessions with Jim. It has been and continues to be a great experience.
My daughter really enjoys taking piano lessons with Mateo. She is really interested in learning the piano and I believe most of that has to do with Mateo's encouragement and engagement level during the lessons. Mateo seems to really care about his students and according to my daughter, he is "really funny".
What a great experience my son has had since starting guitar lessons at Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music. The staff could not be nicer or more professional. The teachers are all highly experienced, and you can just tell that they love what they do. They make the children, and the parents, feel like family. I wouldn't take my child any place else, and I would highly recommend this music school to anyone - great place!
My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!
I have taken guitar lessons before, but I wasn't learning or moving forward at the pace I wanted. He played guitar the whole time and seemed detached, annoyed and uninterested in helping me. He really didn't seem passionate about his lessons/teaching methods and what I learned over time. So I finally decided to try again and I took guitar lessons from Cam about a year ago and it's been the most rewarding experience.
Our family has known Lyndsay for over 2 overs. Both of our children (ages 9 and 6) took piano lessons with Lyndsay beginning almost 3 years ago. The progress our children made FAR exceeded our expectations! They always seemed to be the best taught children in recitals as well. Lyndsay made learning piano fun and allowed our children to choose what music they wanted to learn. Lyndsay is friendly, kind, gentle, positive, encouraging, patient, and so, so sweet. She is able to connect with her students and customize their piano lessons according to their strengths. She turned our children into confident, self-motivated piano players. I highly recommend Lyndsay as a piano teacher and if she didn't move, we would have used her forever! We are envious of future families who can experience just how great she is!!! Carrie Gallacher
Barry was my first and only guitar teacher! I started when I was 14 and I stayed with him until I was 17. ( I should've never quit, but he keeps up with me to this day). He is an awesome teacher and very patient and laid back. I loved my guitar sessions and learning not only the basics of guitar but playing music I loved. I definitely recommend him as a teacher.
I am a professional performer and instructor. I specialize on the guitar. I play all styles of music and also have solo guitar stuff prepared. I would have to say my solo guitar material is a mix between Chet Atkins, Barney Kessel, and Andres Segovia.
I have been a professional musician for 51 years and have done numerous engagements, both in the performance and recording areas of this business. I can tailor my method of teaching to the students' expectations or give them a combination that meets their needs, along with reasonable explanations about theory. Ultimately, if the student is a beginner, intermediate, or an advanced player, I am sure that they will be happy with the results.
