Taking violin lessons (and now viola) with Paige. It's been a much better experience for me than my first time trying to learn violin. I appreciate that she's willing to adapt her lessons to my own goals and also select music that is actually pleasing to listen to even for an absolute beginner. As some other reviews mentioned, she's also very quick to reply to any messages.

Both of our sons (6 and 9) take piano lessons with Ms. Ruthanna. After my own childhood experience with piano and violin lessons, I have to say my sons are very lucky to have her as their teacher. She's so knowledgeable about teaching them. She does the Suzuki part to help with training them by ear. But, simultaneously, she teaches them note reading, so they are getting a very complete piano education. She's also incredibly patient with them. She wants to connect with them. She moves them right along, but in a positive and encouraging way at all times. She has a great sense of humor and meets them where they are at. I highly recommend Ms. Ruthanna as a piano teacher.

My daughter really enjoys taking piano lessons with Mateo. She is really interested in learning the piano and I believe most of that has to do with Mateo's encouragement and engagement level during the lessons. Mateo seems to really care about his students and according to my daughter, he is "really funny".

My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!

Ms. Mathis worked with our daughter with piano and voice before she relocated. She was knowledgeable and very patient. She had very relevant lessons prepared, and sent us feedback with recordings. Our daughter was disappointed when we found out she was relocating.

My son has been taking guitar lessons from Ms. Arrington for almost 2 years, and he loves them. She is patient, supportive, very friendly, and obviously loves what she does. In his case, she endorses his uniqueness while teaching him the basics he needs to maximize his personal style.

About

I've played the piano my entire life, starting around age six when I took my first lesson. I am now 23 and attending Georgia State University, where I am obtaining my BA in Economics. On the side of going to school, I would enjoy the opportunity of relaying the love and knowledge I have of piano playing to others. I am looking to travel to the client's home to give the lesson but am also possibly considering giving lessons in my own home if you do not have your own piano. Cheers. Zach

About

Graduating summa cum laude with a B.A inmusic from GSU, Kyle Bennett shares his love of music by teaching, composing and performing music of all styles and genres. Not only are the foundations of music taught such as technique, theory and performance but also the creative art of improvisation and composition. This enables students to tap into their own, inner wealth of creativity and talent while fostering traditional and contemporary styles. In addition, breathe, posture, diet, sleep and mental health are also part of a balanced and harmonious approach to playing an instrument or any other physical art form for that matter. Kyle not only teaches music but lives and breathes it daily through keeping the body and mind healthy and clear through art forms such as yoga and meditation.

About

I have always held that music reaches all people from different paths of life. The act of reading and working through a piece alongside another passionate teacher gives further guidance in understanding the true love and respect in learning about a musical instrument. I always offer tremendous support and patience with all levels of playing and help my students discover proper techniques to eventually teach themselves to remain disciplined in practicing, setting realistic but challenging goals, and a wide variety of playing styles to become a well rounded pianist or vocalist.

About

I am a professional piano player, teacher and instructor. I've been playing for 50 years and love passing on my talents to beginning musicians. My teaching techniques emphasize on touch and dynamics. The piano, which full name is pianoforte, meaning soft and loud, should be played exactly as its name. There are moments when loud melodies are represented and then soft or even silent moments. This allows the student to use the instrument to speak or convey their inmost creative language.
