Very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. I feel confident learning from Ali as she is currently active in the performance industry and is able to clearly provide examples of what she is teaching. After just one lesson, she is already correcting my poor singing habits and helping me develop the technique needed in today's music industry. Looking forward to the next lesson!

Tasha is an amazing teacher! As an amateur singer, just a guy who always sings when he is happy, I’ve been blown away with how fun and awesome singing lessons can be when Tasha is your teacher! She chills your nerves, instantly, with her friendly, and funny personality. But she also gains your trust, as she is a gifted singer, teacher, and really tailors her lessons towards you. From music theory, to vocal exercises, I’m blown away by Tasha’s teachings, because not only does she work with your voice, she also introduces you to music theory, tried and true vocal breathing and musculature practices, as if your voice was a muscle (and in Tasha’s voice, “it is!”). Tasha, this gifted teacher, and singer (OMG is her voice something angelic!!!!), is going to customize her teaching towards you, hit you hard with music theory, vocal/breathing exercises, and work with you, HARD, on every note or vocal inflection…. But just like her voice, she’s also angelic as an instructor! Tasha will bring out the best of you, your voice, all you have to do is sign up. I’m three weeks into our lessons, and these sessions have become so enlightening, so entertaining, and so f’ing fun, that I wished that I had reached out to her years ago! At the end of the day, we are talking about a gifted professional singer whom also wants to share her gifts, and knowledge, with you. Jump on that peeps, while you can! She’s blowing up professionally, and won’t be around much longer! Tasha is just the best. I always enter our sessions with anxiety, really get pushed by her during our time together, but there is no “natural high” like enduring a “Tasha Conway” vocal session, watching her bring out the best in you, and spending 60 minutes with an amazing artist whom joyfully wants to bring out the best in you, and help you sing better!

My initial first impression of Tasha LaRae was awesome. I was very impressed with her personality first and foremost! Tashs made me feel relaxed, welcomed, comfortable. Tasha asked what my expectations are and where I wanted to go with my craft of singing. I was also asked other unique questions to better cater to my voice lesson. My overall experience was very positive. I'm looking forwarded to our sessions and working with Tasha LaRae.

Tasha is very observant and picked up on things I didn't actually communicate verbally. She has a great spirit and I'm very excited to work with her. She was sure to ask about my goals so she could tailor the lessons to my needs. She is kind, but also makes sure to set specific goals for you to be held accountable for.

I took voice lessons with him for a show that was six weeks away and there has been notable improvements. I was able to sing most of my notes in a range that was not mine, which is incredible because I was once not able to hit most of my notes. He does specialize in musical theatre; so, if anyone needs help specifically with auditions and shows, he is your man. He does have a strong history with musical theatre and does both acting and singing. Even though my show is over, I still continue to take lessons with him, looking for other songs to audition with and to learn just for fun. He's very down to earth and understands the voice very well. He is also flexible with timing. I am a college student at a school almost 50 minutes away and he completely understands my busy schedule. He also is fairly cheap and very understanding financially. Other good voice teachers can charge up to 70 dollars an hour, so this was a very good deal in my opinion. I do not attend school for musical theatre, I just do it as a hobby, but working with him helps fuel my passion for it. If anyone is looking for vocal/acting help and loves musical theatre (both professionally and for fun), he is a great resource.

Michael Karl does an amazing job of teaching me acting lessons, stage presence and voice projection. He has such a way of expressing himself to help me get into character and to feel what the character is feeling. Michael is professional, punctual and proficient!! He listens to what your expectations are and what you hope to gain from the experience. I highly recommend Michael Karl!!!

Every review says as much about the person reviewing as it does the business reviewed. Olga is a conscientious and professional piano and voice teacher and I highly recommend her. A bad review is telegraphing that the person writing it has specific things that set them off. Sometimes these are fair and then the review reads as sensible. Typing a bad review in ALL CAPS is not sensible. The person comes across as obnoxious and at best, as fussy when focused on things most people consider unfair, like free lessons. Unless it is someone who shares the same issue, when someone like that writes a bad review the only person he or she is pushing away is someone LIKE THEM. So in that respect, they're doing the place a favor because they are aborting another bad review. Most of us read multiple reviews and can sort the rational voices from the angry ones. I am a parent of two boys and I have to say that $20 for quality one-on-one (private) 30 minute music lessons is too cheap. This is especially true if the teacher has several university degrees. Yes Olga gives us a discounted rate for my younger son but I do not expect her to teach for free. I am yet to see a teacher giving a $20 private lesson and free lesson for the 2nd child. To do it once perhaps, but that deal would be too good to be true to sustain long term. Not only would the teacher soon go out of business but it is unfair to the parents who are paying a higher but fair rate. In this day and age that is not a fair price for a qualified music teacher. However, $20 for a group lesson of 4 or 5 kids would make sense. My boys were able to read notes from their first piano lesson and are able to interpret a piece of music. Their lessons include scales, arpeggios, classic pieces, aural testing, sight reading and music theory. She is currently preparing my eldest son for the grade 1 Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Exam. I can say she has gone above and beyond what previous piano teachers have delivered, even extending the lesson time by 5 or 10 minutes if needed. She was more focused on my boys understanding the concept than anything else. In fact and she spaced our lessons so they do not overlap giving me ample time to discuss any concerns. Our experience has been that we get more than what we pay for at each lesson. No one should have to work for free. The effort Olga makes in teaching our boys correct finger posture, rhythm and theory is incredible. She is great with kids and I could not ask for a better teacher.

I love HoneyBee Records!! My daughter has been taking lessons with Erik Bennett since she was eight and she is about to turn sixteen. She started taking lessons from Elise Bennett several years ago. Over the years, we have had so many wonderful experiences with recital performances, competitions, dinner theatres, studio recordings, and as a "music family". Erik has such creativity and vision and it shows through in everything he does. As business owners and teachers, Erik and Elise are both professional, extremely talented, and very hard working. They love their students and devote all of their talents and love of music into the growth of each student. Not only do they teach, they have a personal interest in the lives of each student. I cannot imagine what our daily lives would be like without Erik, Elise and the HoneyBee Family. Love you guys!!

"THANKFUL" is the word that comes to mind when I think of Eric & Elise from Honey Bee Records...our daughter became interested with singing at age of 5 but were not introduced to Honeybee until she was around 13 and now at the age of 16 she is blowing us away with her growth... Eric & Elise love what they do so they bring out the best in all their students...not only are they great teachers they are great friends and an important mentor in our daughters life...anyone with a child that enjoys singing or playing instruments should be apart of our Bee Hive!.. This is a very wise investment toward their career!

For the last few years, I've had the pleasure of accompanying Suzanne's students at their spring voice recitals. Her students are all different ages and personalities, and from a vocal perspective, they also vary in their musical training and skill level. For each student, she knows exactly what to do to bring out the best in them. I've come to admire Suzanne's extensive musical background and repertoire -- she teaches a variety of song styles with ease. The accompaniment I've provided has ranged from the classics to Broadway to everything in between. Speaking of the classics, outside of English I've heard her students sing in German, Italian, Latin ... and probably one or two other languages I can't think of right now. Suzanne challenges her students in such a way that lessons are fun as well as instructive. In addition to the mechanics, she works with students on memorization, presentation, stage presence and recital etiquette. In addition to that - for the more adventurous students - Suzanne comes up with some awesome choreography! Highly recommend!!

For context, I'm a 30 year old male software engineer who's never taken voice lessons before. First, I'll just say that Dan is a phenomenal instructor. Before I found Dan, I had been trying to teach myself to sing via on-line, pre-recorded lessons for probably half a year. I had convinced myself I didn't need voice lessons because I'm a successful self-taught guitarist and drummer, but after *really* trying to improve and getting frustrated with my lack of results I decided to suck it up and pay for a coach. I found Dan and after working with him twice a week for 5 months now I am literally astonished at the amount of improvement I've made. Full disclosure, I don't even practice between lessons anymore because the quality of his live feedback is so on-point that I'm more than happy with the results I see from those two live sessions. YMMV with that approach though! Dan has been doing this a long time, and has helped me achieve really great results in such a short period of time. I promise he's worth the money. Plus he's a really great guy and has a dog that's there for every lesson.

I started with Dan after 3 1/2 years of voice training elsewhere. He's taking my skills to new levels. Great teaching skills, terrific practice instructions, good ear, vested in his students' improvements, flexible in suggesting new approaches, personable, efficient, each lesson is packed with information and instruction. Can't be happier to have found him. Highly recommend him to anyone serious in learning to sing.

Alex worked voice with me and piano with my young daughter. She has a genuine talent for sharing her passion and experience in music. I consider her my "coach" more than anything while she is definitely a "teacher" when it comes to my daughter. This demonstrates her adaptability in meeting the needs of each, individual student. She is also very accommodating with regards to schedule and goals. Like anything, you get what you give. Alex is patient and understanding when life isn't providing much time for personal practice. She balances that with passionate encouragement that makes you look forward to your next lesson and motivates you to be prepared.

I have had the pleasure of working with Carroll Briggs for a couple years now, training as a soloist and a part of a group. He is well versed in vocal training as well as music history. He teaches excellent vocal and performing techniques to bring out the best in you. I’ve learned so much from him in such a short time. My breathing techniques, vocal strength and overall confidence have improved immensely. Carroll makes lessons enjoyable for all age groups. My 15 year old daughter looks forward to lessons each week because Carroll has a way of making practices and challenging aspects of singing fun and exciting. He is very professional and great in explaining the things that we need to work on. He is also encouraging, thorough, and patient when explaining things we might not understand. What I like most about Carroll is that he understands the need for individual attention as well as the overall needs required for the success of a group. If you are looking for a knowledgeable vocal coach who is supportive, dedicated, experienced, and will be able to tailor lessons for your specific needs, I highly recommend Carroll Briggs.

After enrolling my 4 yr old daughter in group piano lessons, I quickly saw that she was interested in learning more. The decision to move to private lessons was an easy one after a trial lesson with Andria Rush. Andria is an EXCELLENT piano teacher. She was able to quickly bond with my sometimes shy 4 yr old , make her comfortable in a new environment , and constantly inspire her to learn and stay engaged/challenged. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Riverside Voice and Piano. In addition to being a superb teacher, Andria has a warm and loving personality! There is nothing not to like about her services. I am extremely particular about any environment my child is immersed in and naturally the people she is around. Riverside Voice and Piano is a win win all around!

My granddaughter's voice/Singing/Piano lesson was exactly what she needed to boost her self esteem. The lessons were so rewarding. She was taught to use her voice properly through various breathing technics and breathing exercises, instead of just opening her mouth singing. She enjoyed both singing and piano throughly. She always looked forward to her lessons. I highly recommend anyone to experience what my granddaughter experienced. Ms. Andria, you are an anazing teacher. Thanks for all that you do!

I have known Valencia Giles for 7 years, and working with her and getting lessons from her has been an amazing experience. She cares for all of her students, and makes sure that they are succeeding not only musically, but academically as well. Valencia Giles as well as the rest of the staff are all extremely nice and caring. They all have years and years of experience. I would trust each and every one of them to give me lessons. If you are deciding on a place to send your child/children to get piano, violin/viola, guitar, and/or singing lessons, or if you want lessons yourself, then don't hesitate to call V.C. My daughter started having her voice lessons with Svitlana in 2013 being a 10 year old. She hadn't had any kind of singing experience before. Currently, she is taking a weekly or sometimes semi-weekly voice lessons and I believe she is progressing quite well and likes both the lessons and the performances. She has a varioty of songs is her repertuare including several Adele's songs, Rihanna's "Russian Roulette", Aguilera's "Beautiful", Avicii's "Addicted to You", "California Dreaming", and many others, including some of the Russian songs (she is native Russian). Svitlana has a small group of differently aged girls and even gave all of them the opportunity to make a professional music video with a recording in one of the best recording studio in Atlanta. My daughter was very quite and shy in the beginning but by now she has learned how to breath, use her voice properly and how to present herself. She became more open and confident for the auditions or in the concerts. Svitlana herself has a great voice and definitelly knows how to handle kids in their learning process and how to make them feel more comfortable. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to start learning singing.

I've been taking singing lessons on Skype with Sasha for about 7 months on a weekly basis. I had no prior singing experience before starting with her. Lessons can be stressful when you're doing things you're not familiar with. Sasha understands this well and adapts to your needs at the right pace. She identifies areas for improvement and provides exercises to practice during the week that focus on these. Each lesson involves working on a song of your choosing. People have told me my singing voice is much better (control, tone, accuracy, clarity) and my speaking voice is improved as well! I enjoy my lessons and know my money is well spent. I highly recommend her for lessons.

About

Thirty dollars for an hour lesson; my musical instruction line is traceable back to Beethoven. My teacher, Jon Bartlett, God rest his soul, studied at the Eastman School of Music with the legendary Jan DeGaetani, a graduate of Julliard. I feel singing is an expression of the soul just like painting and sculpture. It's not just about singing opera; it's about singing whatever you love to sing. I feel a fire in the very kitchen of my soul when I sing, and it's my favorite thing to do. I don't play piano; I'm a singer. I teach how to sing the healthiest possible way whatever the genre you love best.
