I love swimming with fins and i did a lot of free style with the habit of only breathing on one side. I suddently got my left shoulder frozen. I decided to train with a coach that would know exactly how to help me recover complete range of motion so i can move and swim again. I started to learn how to stretch and work with elastic bands and light weights to regain flexibility and strength. And then i progressed toward kettle bell and TRX training. Carson has the gift to listen and understand your needs and being very grounded and perfectionnist, he would go the extra mile to give you the workout that suits you! My shoulder completely recovered and i can swim both sides now. He also made me aware of tightness in my neck and right shoulder slightly more elevated while carring my purse! Carson tought me also how to squat properly and my right knee is no longer cracking... Professional, caring, genuine and straighforward! It's extemely rare nowadays! He wanted me to be able to continue on my own that training so i can swim without injuring myself again. I feel much stronger now. I also liked the combination of pilates and yoga to strenghten my core. And training with my own body weight with the TRX and kettle bell was a fantastic way to gain balance, strength and mobility. Carson obviously loves people and wants you to feel good about yourself and succeed! I can't thank him enough! You have your perfect trainer right there:))
I worked with Asako for over 2 years. She challenged me in every work out and helped me achieve my best fitness level. I unfortunately transferred back to the mainland, but will be coming back to Hawaii soon. I'm looking to resume training with Asako!
Brian is a tough trainer with a heart of gold. He works you hard and pushes you to be the best you can be. Goal setting, periodic body fat and weight checks along with nutrition counseling were part of my program. He is patient and very knowledgeable. I recommend him highly for anyone, at any fitness level who is looking to improve their health thru exercise and proper nutrition.
Jodi Hartel is an excellent coach. I highly and enthusiastically recommend her. She listens intently without judging which is refreshing. I felt comfortable exploring and discussing my situation with her. Her ability to challenge my assumptions without me feeling like I was being attacked allowed me to see my situation from a different perspective. I also liked that she never told me what to think or do. As uncomfortable as it may have been, she made me own my decision. Trusting her was easy to do. I truly doubt I would have made the leap without her assistance. Do yourself a favor, if you really want to move forward and feel comfortable doing so, hiring Jodi as your coach is the right answer.
Over the past years as a yoga instructor, I have slowly begun to see how my body is truly effected by what I eat and drink. I decided to contact Rosey because I have been suffering from migraines since I was in middle school and I felt like my whole immune system was shot. Through the six-week program I can successfully say I have not had a migraine in six weeks! This of course is still the biggest success for my health. I have never felt so alive! With the help of Rosey's coaching, I now understand the importance of hydration and eating to nourish my body, mind, and spirit. I have to admit, the hardest part of my six-week program was how skeptical I was about seeking out a health coach. I had always thought it was just about losing weight. What I have learned is a health coach, like Rosey, does not just inspire you to live a flourishing life, but empowers you to love yourself and love the healthy choices you can make. Through the six-week program I lost a total of 10 pounds. This was not a goal of mine...but I feel more energized and more awake. My body is less achy and when I wake up in the morning I am no longer groggy. My favorite part about this program is the way in which Rosey made me feel at ease. She offers so many different educational ways of learning about healthy choices, that I never felt like I was being cut short or fast tracked along the way.
