I started training with Kathryn in January. I am 65. I am looking forward to retirement and did not want to be limited on the activities that I could do. I had a stroke 10 years ago and have some difficulty with balance and movement. I have pain from arthritis. My left knee is weak and I fell frequently. I came to Kathryn to help me with balance and to improve my mobility. I had been in Phyiscal Therapy 3 times and had a trainer in the past. I came to Kathryn with not much hope. Wow! She works with my limitations and concentrates on training that strenghtens my weak side with out causing injury. My balance has improved vastly and I am moving much faster and have less pain from the arthritis. I can even exercise on the elliptical which I did not have the strength to make it move in the past. We had tears at first and not much eagerness to try new exercises. She has improved my eating and I am building muscle which is not easy to do at this age. No more tears and i look forward to my training. She is awesome.

I have attended boot camp for 15 months. Jesse is an awesome trainer and, even though the first couple weeks were tough, I actually look forward to the early morning challenge now. I'm so glad I stuck with it--this is the best thing I have ever done for myself and I just feel healthier! I have been working with Chris Ankher for about two months now, and I could not be happier. When I first started with Chris it was because of a knee injury. He therapeutically worked with me until I was strong enough to move on to other things. I seriously never would of thought I could of achieved this level fitness at my age( 53) . Courtney went above and beyond weight loss and strength training with me. She could see my weight wasn't the problem and that it was my self esteem instead. She spent the time helping me to learn to love myself first then the weight would come off. And she was right! Oh and she also kicked my butt! Logan has done an excellent job guiding me through the development of a training lifestyle. My plan is to make working out a daily activity just like a job and Logan has helped me keep it fresh and challenging. He is very responsive to my inquiries as well as my particular fitness needs. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and was constantly battling pain for years. I chose not to have surgery and felt that getting myself in shape was the only way to combat the issue. I specialize in weight loss or strength/ athletic performance. All my clients get results above and beyond their goals if they follow a few guidelines. First, you have to show up, life happens but if your serious about changing your life, the first step is showing up to the gym, and I WILL hold you accountable. Second, you have to listen. I will do all the ground work from designing your personal training program to nutrition plans, but you have to listen and follow everything together because one piece left out is the difference between 5lbs lost and 50lbs lost. Last, you have to give full effort and earn your newfound body, confidence, and health. When those 3 things are followed you can do more than you ever imagined. The same applies to my athletes and powerlifters, I do not train physique sports I know nothing about it. I have trained 20+ high school athletes who continued to play in college.. First and foremost Mike is a very caring and honest individual. He wants the best results for you and he always puts 110% into everything he does. He eats and sleeps fitness, and his knowledge of how the human body works is just amazing. Sometimes it feels as if I'm talking to a doctor. I have been seeing Mike for over a year now, and I have lost over 60 pounds, lost over ten inches around the waist, and my strength increases a ton every month. It has been a great experience and a very fun one too. I still attend his boot camps and cant wait to reach my fitness goals. I've been in Mike's bootcamp for almost a year now. I've lost weight and gained muscle and I made those improvements without following the diet plan he gave me. I'm positive I could be sportin a six pack and a bikini if I would follow his instructions perfect. Mike is incredibly talented. He can take a group of people and modify each excercise so that each person no matter their fitness level is performing a workout with the proper form. He is constantly going from person to person giving tips, motivation, ect. He had actually met with me a few times on his personal time to go over my diet. Aaron has helped me with my diet which made it possible to reach my goal weight in just months! Aaron caters workouts to each of his clients and their personal goals. I have NEVER done the same workout in the year I've been training with Aaron. He is very professional, flexible, and respects my busy schedule. I first met Johnny in the Fall of 2008, I was really over-weight and could hardly make it through a bootcamp. After a few weeks of bootcamp my doctor recommended that I quit because of shin splints & sore knees. I went back in January 2010, I started with an 8-week bootcamp; 1 hour a day, five days a week for 8 straight weeks...I lost over 50 pounds and felt the best I'd felt in years. Johnny was very good & very patient with me - he pushed but not too hard. He understood that I am diabetic & have high blood pressure; he worked very closely with me to make sure I didn't have any issues. During the summer of 2010 I lost my mother, two weeks later my sister passed & a month later my daughter got married; it was a very trying & stressful summer. I quit going to bootcamp and started gaining weight slowly; I tried to maintain & get it off on my own but couldn't. Johnny kept in constant contact with me and kept encouraging me to come back, I finally did and I'm so glad I did. I am feeling fantastic again. I'm losing inches & body fat. I workout, with a personal trainer, three to four days a week and I'm eating right; things are falling into place. I'm getting lots of compliments - I have so much more energy - I FEEL GREAT!!
