I reached out to Mary in desperation because of my 6 year old boxer. He has serious aggression towards other dogs since he was 2 years old. My boxer and I have had two previous dog trainers in the past with no luck on solving his aggression issue, that is until I met Mary from Dogology. She came over to my house and asked me questions about our way of living. She made some real simple suggestions and I followed her advice. Once we had him crate trained and walking on the treadmill multiple times a day she suggested the best way to get to my dogs root problem would be going to the dog park. I was hesitate but I trusted her and I am glad I did. Long story short we have had 3 sessions at the dog park and his behavior has completely changed. The last session the muzzle came off and he did amazing! For the first time since he was a puppy he was able to be part of a pack and play with dogs as I've always dreamed. We still have a lot of work to do with my boxer but this is the first time in years that I am hopeful for our future. Mary is very talented , loving and laid back individual that has a lot of experience and knowledge to bring to the table. I can't express enough the level of gratitude I have for what she has done for me and my dog thus far.

I am happy to recommend Darcy at Pawsitive Difference Dog Training. I picked out a two year old border collie last Christmas from the Humane Society, and he was definitely a wild crazy man! Totally over the top. Over this past year, I got him settled down on almost everything, but I was having trouble with him reacting to other dogs. It was down right embarrassing and limited where I could go with him. For trying to fix that one habit, I've been through four other trainers. I can now walk up to other dogs and have him be friendly 90% of the time. Darcy just corrected a couple of things I was doing and guaranteed results! Super happy!

Robert has been helping train our German Shepherd Nuschka, since she was only 4 months old. At first we started with visits every fortnight to do basic training skills with her, which she picked up very fast. In between visits Robert gave us "homework" - training instructions to keep going with Nuschka until our next visit. We altered training with behavioral corrections, which within 5 minutes of Roberts training, Nuschka had already picked up and learnt what needed to be done. For eg. She started jumping our front fence and wandering the street early in the morning. After just 5 minutes of Roberts Training, Nuschka has not even considered jumping that fence again. Robert is amazing at what he does, he calls regularly to check up on how training is going and offers advice over the phone. He was very quick to offer guidance after a serious dog attack on Nuschka, which resulted in us having a better balanced dog after something so traumatic. Without Robert, I know our dog would never of had the opportunity to learn the things she has. Only today we started working on her search and rescue skills and will soon get into some protection work, which is a lot of fun for us, and Nuschka. The thing I absolutely love about Roberts training, is that he comes to your house, your own environment and he trains us, the humans, rather then just the dog. This gives us the skill set and confidence to continue to train future dogs to come, with the knowledge Robert has provided us with. Nuschka is now 8 months old, and we will continue to have training from Robert as there is always something new that can be taught! I happily refer Robert daily on our trips to the dog park when others comment on how amazing it is to have a dog listen to commands and act upon them. Robert is the real deal when it comes to training your dog and affordable!

I thought it was a great introduction to training my dog. Kathy is obviously experienced and confident and had my dog doing a ton of behaviors within the first hour. Also I really really appreciated that she helped me as much as him, and that there was no "hard sell" to sign up for a bunch of additional services. Great value for not a lot of money. Please note: I was trying to enter Great as a Rating but first time the survey was too fast for me and entered a poor I think. THIS WAS NOT Wilram, it was user error! I would recommend Kathy across the boards.

Karen has a gift with dogs. She is a dog whisperer; she loved our dog and dog loved her instantly. Having Karen watch our dog is so superior to a kennel. Our dog was in familiar surroundings, well cared for, and loved while we were away. And, we felt like our home was secure too while we were away. We were pleasantly surprised when we got home to find the house was spotless, the laundry was done, and the dishes were all put away. Hiring Karen to watch our dog was the best move we have ever made.

Really great information for myself and my family regarding dealing with our newly adopted dog. Training him will be a process but she has instilled in us a confidence that he (and we) will succeed! We are excited to continue our training/learning with Jessica!

I hired Nick to find a dog as a diabetic alert dog. He interviewed many breeders and came home with the puppy he thought would have the perfect temperament for the task. Amazing. This man could see in a puppy what could be a life saving animal. With some training and a little "boot camp" my Cooper has turned out to be more then an alert dog but the most precious gift in my life. I refer people to Nick as easy as breathing. He is gifted beyond belief. Debra Brocato, Portland, OR

basic training, everything from board and train to fun sports training classes. Amy really finds a way understand why your dog is doing something to better train them not to do it. For instance my dog trips me while walking on a leash, she understood that my dog has a lack of confidence and that to fix that issue we must give him opportunities to gain confidence. Really a unique and loving way to train your best friend and you. I have watched her deal with other dogs that have way deeper issues and dogs most people would put down, she completely transforms them. The day I see a dog she gives up on will be the day pigs fly.

Well I would like to do more hands on work. Nothing where you stand with a mic all day and ask people what they would like off the menu. Cubical jobs aren't preferred either. I don't like to sit all day.
