Before I met Konrad, I struggled mightily with trying to lose weight and improve my fitness. I tried different diets, none of them worked. Tried different one size fits all exercise programs, they were too difficult, and I ended up getting hurt. After meeting Konrad, however, all of that changed. The first thing I noticed was how important it was to him that I met my goals, and that he would do whatever he could to help. Right away, I was impressed that Konrad is in graduate school at Northwestern to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as his top line health and fitness certifications, so I knew he would be the perfect person to help me out. As my trainer, Konrad developed a diet plan for me that was easy to follow and focused on eating wholesome, nutritious foods. Protein and produce, less ingredients, less processed foods. Secondly, I was impressed at the breadth of knowledge Konrad had as he led me through different workouts. His workouts were designed to target specific muscle groups, in order to strengthen my whole body and improve my functional fitness. I could tell that he actually paid attention to my fitness level, as each subsequent workout continued to challenge me, ensuring my progress. His workouts are always different and exciting, and I left each session feeling like I had accomplished something. He was also very attentive and easy to talk to, he knows so much about how the body actually works! Any question I asked him, he provided an easy to understand answer, without getting too much into the science behind it-a true indicator that he knows his craft! Between the diet and the training I did with Konrad, I managed to lose 30 pounds in 6 months and I am now pain free! I would highly recommend Konrad and his team at Chitown Trainer for any health related needs. He's a true professional, and I would imagine there aren't many other places out there that do as good a job as Chitown Trainer.
I initially signed up for a personal training package of 7 sessions that went pass very quickly. Mr. Gardner was very patient and willing to work within my physical limitations. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . Dan has been a God send and reinvigorated my belief that I can take care of my health, actually meet my fitness goals, and truly enjoy it. I've absolutely loved, enjoyed, and seen results from every single session with Dan. I can't rave enough about how great a trainer he is and his attention to every aspect of his clients fitness, and overall well-being!!

I am very glad that I selected him to do my training. My training is very personalized and I have many issues including nutrition and health that he has been able to address and is continuing to help me with. We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. About half way through our year we got pregnant and I have been able to continue working with him through my whole pregnancy, my doctor has said I am doing great and my health, blood test, blood pressure etc. has been right on track through my whole pregnancy. I love training with Tricia! She has been training me for about 4 months now and I'm VERY happy with the results. I've lost inches and weight, and I even have toned muscles that I never had before! I've lost weight in the past doing Weight Watchers, but I never did any strength training like this! I can do "REAL" push-ups now instead of having to be on my knees! I feel great and know I would not have pushed myself to get here without Tricia. I would recommend her to anyone!

My fiance had been training with Tiffany for about 7 months before I decided to join. i had never done Olympic lifting or crossfit and was intimidated by the thought of it. Tiffany was very welcoming and attentive on my first day of training. She explained the different positions verbally first and then she demonstrated them All the while giving tips and pointers. I immediately felt comfortable and trusting of her abilities. If I didn't get something the first few times, she was quick to find another way to explain it. I've only been working out for a month with her and am already seeing results. The atmosphere is fun and light hearted...however, she does have expectations for you to work hard and give it all you have. She has a great passion that shines through in her work. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants us all to succeed on our wellness journey.
I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. Kudos to Nicki for winning her over and making a difference!

So, I started personal training with Paul, and it's now been around 2 weeks now. My commitment that has been made is to go 5 days a week to the gym on my own, and then the 6th day is personal training day for 6 months total. Paul delivers! With his various certifications, he is able to adequately taper a fitness program exactly to what I want and need (fat loss and strength in particular). I definitely feel like it is personalized to fit me perfectly. Throughout the week when I am not with him he also keeps you accountable with little messages to make sure everything is going alright. He doesn't belittle you, but he makes an honest push to get you to reach your goal and go above and beyond. He has a fun sense of humor and makes the hour go by quickly. I would highly recommend him as a trainer and can't wait to see my already transforming physique reach the end goal flawlessly as long as I put as much into the workouts myself. Way to go DJ PAULY D! I started training with Juan about a month ago. He took a consultative approach like a doctor's visit. He asked about my goals, diet plan and workout experience. He also asked about prior injuries to avoid re-injury. The first workout, he identified the course of action to implement. Perhaps his biggest strength is his focus on proper technique. I tend to power through the workout and hold my breathe. Juan takes note of these corrections and identifies them during future workouts. That's impressive! I like how he focuses on weight training, cardio and core.
Our family has been training with Gary for the past five years. In addition to providing great strength training, cardio exercise and diet information, Gary is very knowledgeable about working with clients recovering from injuries. He has safely and effectively guided us back to full health after we have completed phycial therapy. Nancy Meaney is a terrific trainer. I was 72 when I first started training with her. I could only lift a 1lb weight and had to sleep several hours after workouts. Now, 2 years later, I am lifting 8 -10 lbs.,and getting energy from my workouts. I am strong, feel wonderful, and am 2 sizes smaller even though I have not lost much weight. I like what I see in the mirror now. Nancy has a warm understanding personality. She has high expectations for me which I am able to meet because of her encouragement and gentle but firm style which makes me strive harder. I would encourage anyone to hire her; she is the best.
I have worked with Roy for several years and appreciate that his focus is on older adults (over 50).He provides a work out plan that will help you maintain strength,mobility,stability,and endurance. I've seen trainers who are little more than rep counters or who focus on the "pretty " muscles.Roy is so much more than that!
Chris Lee is a great trainer was training with him for a while before I moved out of state or I would still be working with him. He go me to where I wanted to be fitness wise. He taught me alot of different excercises that I still use. He good at working out every type of muscle group. He will be there to push you and get you where you wanna be. Remember though results a two way street. You have to be dedicated outside and inside the gym.
Brent has been my personal trainer for 3 years now. I had never worked one-on-one with a trainer before I met Brent. I started with just once a week, then twice a week and now three times a week. If it were not for Brentâs knowledge, encouragement and patience, I would have given up long ago. He took the time to ask and listen regarding my goals and physical limitations. He has constantly tailored my program to help me achieve short term goals, as well as working toward long term goals. He has an encouraging and challenging way about him that has you doing things you never knew you could, and he does not bark or bully you. I never thought I would spend the time or money to work with a personal trainer, but with Brent as my trainer, I cannot imagine stopping. I now live for the challenge!
