FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer both in-person training packages and monthly online training packages depending on your location, availability, and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each potential new client gets a free consultation, done by video or in person, to go over a series of questions regarding your health and fitness goals and what you hope to get out of personal training. These initial consultations are very important because they give me a sense of where you're currently at, and how I can help you work toward your goals. They also give you the opportunity to ask me questions and make sure that I'm a good fit for you. Should you choose to work with me, I program workouts around your goals, preferences, needs, imbalances, injuries, health conditions, available equipment, and other training considerations. I keep track of all my clients' progress using different spreadsheets and docs, and by doing regular check-ins to make sure you're staying on target.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified - Precision Nutrition Certified - Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Certified - CPR/AED/First Aid Certified I've always felt like certifications are necessary and useful, but just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to health and fitness knowledge. I try to keep up to date with the latest science in the field by subscribing to MASS Research Review and regularly reviewing articles on sites such as PubMed when necessary. Having access to all that knowledge is important, but so is being able to critically analyze and apply it.
