Janice's super power is her ability to engage the audience when she speaks. Her story about her mom is close to her heart and you can really feel that when she talks. I love that she's using her experience to teach other women how to heal the relationship with their mother. It's such an important part of life.

Dr. Janice is the ultimate professional who put clients first. When I asked for her assistance with my blogging presentation, I was expecting help with the flow of the speech. Specifically, I wanted the correct words to smoothly transition from one slide to the next. I also wanted to reduce my filler words and include relevant anecdotes. Instead, I received a full coaching session! In addition to improving the flow of my speech, Dr. Janice help with the delivery of my presentation. She pointed out areas where I should add emphasis; suggested handouts to include; and provided tips on how to "work the floor", if space permitted. She also called me after my presentation to find out how it went. I enjoyed working with Dr. Jan and will definitely be working with her again.

Dr. Jan facilitated six training sessions with my staff at Coffee, Tea & Me. My sales team was having difficulties closing too many of their perspective accounts. Their quality of work was lacking in their communication skills. Dr. Jan met with my sales team as a whole, then broke the training sessions down to individual meetings. And finally with the whole team again to analyze results. Once she determined what was lacking, she introduced the Seven C's of Effective Communication: Completeness, Clear messaging, Courtesy, Correctness, Creativity, Consideration and Conciseness. Once those had been practiced, closing accounts became more of a mutual decision vs. hard ball selling. I am very pleased to say, that sales, overall, increased over 15%. Dr. Jan is fantastic !!!

Janice is a woman of God. She is fearless, kind, professional and giving. I have known Janice for over 40 years and have nothing but positive things to say. She has taught me how to be comfortable when public speaking is required of me. Her guidance while working on projects has helped me tremendously.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My speaking fees vary according to several factors: 1. The distance required to travel to the event. 2. The audience size. 3. The length required for the speech/presentation *For out-of-state engagements I require the following: 1. Round-trip 1st class air fare on American, United, or Delta Airlines 2. Hotel w/no room incidentals 3. Reimbursement for Uber/Lyft expenses to and from Airport/Hotel/Venue *I will always consider a discounted speaking fee for the following clients: Education, Senior Citizens, Nonprofit organizations, and Military.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first order of business is to establish the needs/objectives of the potential client. I start with where my clients are in their public speaking journey This is where we discuss what has worked in the past or not. I also want to know whether their lessons are for personal or professional reasons. Together, we establish the best...most effective approach in which to achieve your goals, this automatically establishes whether or not I am a good fit for helping you in those goals. 1. After we have decided to move forward, an agreement and deposit invoice are signed. 2. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is made, we schedule a phone conference to obtain additional information required to tailor the session/s for a perfect fit for your objectives.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have obtained the highest level of public speaking techniques and skills in Toastmasters International. I am an international speaker with many recognitions and awards. I also have a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, which I have used to enable my clients to have peace and power in their public speaking journey.
