Donna. Was. INCREDIBLE. I hired her for our wedding of over 120 people. She was not only a bartender, but literally a hostess. Many people (even my notoriously critical grandmother) commented on how she was everywhere doing everything - making a mean drink, clearing plates, making coffee, everything - and being so kind and pleasant and joyous in the process. Plus she came by to make me (the bride) a plate of food for dinner! She helped me make the list of what I would need, and worked with the drinks and mixers I provided to make even better drinks than I imagined. I requested an additional server to support her which she easily provided, and he was amazing as well. She was worth double the price and I can't recommend her enough.

Jennifer was amazing I got 3 different drafts for my ceremony and I wanted a little bit of everything and she made it happened. The day of rehearsal I didn't know what to do and she was able to me a little bit of a wedding planner as well I loved it. My ceremony was amazing thank you for everything.

Church had to set up with decorations for a wedding which was done and Marvalous job she did... Then she had to decorate the hall which they only Gave her an hour... Because my wedding was outside, in the rainy June season in good ol Chicago, I went back and forth with tent sizes, tent quantity, and side walls. As much of a pain as I was, Stacie made sure every request was fulfilled and every question I had was answered. She made me feel confident that my wedding would turn out perfect, rain or shine, and that she would do everything to make sure I had the proper tenting. It didn't rain, however, I am still so thankful for how easy and wonderful they were to work with! Thank you for being a part of making my wedding better than I dreamed;)

My husband and I did not realize how stressful planning our wedding would be. I know I literally felt like I was going to pull out my hair (and my fiancé's!!). Fortunately, a close friend suggested I hire a wedding coordinator to assist with the big day. Vibrant Moments saved our sanity! Shay and Janean were proactive, professional, organized, thoughtful, flexible and problem solvers. They reminded us about tasks we never even thought of. They also were informal marriage counselors during those planning conference calls when my fiancé and I had to make decisions LOL! But seriously, they helped us talk through some tough decisions related to the wedding ceremony and reception. Leading up to the wedding, they checked in with the bridal party and all the vendors to ensure our big day was perfect. And when the wedding day finally came, they were on the scene taking care of every detail, big and small. I mean, they showed up with this supply basket that had so much stuff in it it had to be like a magician's hat. One of my bridesmaid's needed a phone charger - they had that. One of my othe bridesmaid's broke her earring - they broke out the glue gun. They had tissues, mints...you name it. And most important, they were fun, had positive attitudes and truly made us feel like the success of our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. We can't thank them enough for all they did to help make our big day special.

I originally thought I was going to DIY my wedding but when Charlene answered my request I knew that was going to be the best decision I ever made to hire her. IT WAS! I am so glad I did not DIY my wedding. I would give Elegant Wedding Design 100 stars! She made my special wedding day more perfect than I could have ever imagined. People in my family were second guessing the event space I had chosen because it was small and they couldn't see the vision that I had. Charlene truly transformed the space into a beautiful, elegant and luxurious wedding venue. Every single one of my guests were blown away and in awe as soon as they stepped into the ceremony and saw Charlene's magical beauty she created. She was so engaging, kind and truly made sure every detail of my vision was accomplished. She gave great ideas and expertise. I trusted every decision she made. I love that she owned all of her own materials and had the perfect matching color for our wedding scheme. She did a site walk thru and planned everything with a layout. Her text and email correspondence was great! I could write two pages about how amazing she is and how you really need to make sure she is handling your wedding decor and design. As soon as my first phone call with her I could tell in my spirit she would make all of my dreams come true. and she did! I had the complete piece of mind from the moment I hired her. I was even worried because I WASNT worried about anything. She is like the fairy godmother that transformed Cinderella! I give her my highest review possible! Elegant Wedding Design is the best!

My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I started taking lessons with Steve after getting a deal through LivingSocial. We thought it was something we'd try once, for fun. But one lesson with Steve and we were hooked! Steve is one of the most charismatic people I've ever met. His teaching style is unique and engaging. He does great teaching both members of a couple as individuals, especially if they have very different skill levels, but then also helps them learn how to dance together. He makes the process of learning to dance a lot of fun- I swear sometimes he's tricked my fiancé into learning something new. We can't wait for him to help us plan our wedding dance! (Not saying it was the dance lessons that got my boyfriend to pop the question, just saying all the time spent learning something new together certainly didn't hurt!) We've been dancing at Get on the Floor for almost a year now, and we'll be dancing for years to come, thanks to Steve!

I knew I wanted a day of wedding coordinator so that we didn't have to worry about set-up, clean-up, and all the little details on our wedding day. Forever & Always Events did just that! Jessica and I had a thorough prep call a few weeks before our wedding, and she was there for our rehearsal on Thursday to walk us through how everything would go. Unfortunately, Jessica and her husband, Bill, got sick the day before our wedding, but they filled in with replacements right away. It could have been stressful, but Katie and Laurel picked up right where Jessica and Bill left off. All the details went just as planned, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day!

Allana planned our intimate destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, and it couldn't have been more perfect for me. Allana located and made all arrangements with the vendors to provide the services required: officiant, flowers, food, photographer, hiring a boat. I don't speak Spanish, and she does, so I couldn't have done it without her. She found some really great vendors, whereas I wouldn't have known where to start, even had we been stateside. She managed everything day of, too, and everything went super smoothly, it was perfect! I enjoyed working with Allana, it's clear that she loves event planning!

My daughter got married in 2015 and Annalisa was our go to gal..she helped us out with everything and listened to my daughter's ideas and made them happen. Phantom of the opera was her theme! Bella events helped answer questions and got the wedding venue to do what was expected and her day was special. She made the bride's/bridal party bouquets. Centerpieces and many extras added. Would highly recommend her again.

I had a great time working with Dana for my July 2017 wedding at Salvage One and would highly recommend her as a day-of coordinator. Since she worked at Salvage One, she knew the venue well and knew what would work and what wouldn't. She helped me fine tune the details for the day-of activities and helped set up all my DIY decor. The national average cost for wedding planning is between $990 and $1,300. Costs are greatly affected by region, with rural or smaller-town wedding planners often far more affordable than planners in higher-cost cities. Here are some examples of the various levels of wedding planning and their potential average costs:

  • Day-of-wedding coordination: $800-$1,700. Day-of services can include the planner finalizing all details, creating a timeline, confirming vendors and overseeing all setup, day-of activities, and cleanup. The couple does all the front-end planning and contracts all the vendors. Time commitment could be about 15-25 hours, depending on pricing.
  • Partial service: $1,500-$3,800. Here the planner works with the couple from the beginning, helping contract vendors, creating a timeline, and overseeing all details of day-of execution. Time commitment could be about 30-60 hours, depending on package and pricing.
  • Full service: $3,500-$8,000 or more.
