The job was to demolished a wall in the basement, stitch the carpet where the wall was removed, install a couple of ceiling fans, install front storm door and install a security light outside patio. Job estimated to be a 3 to 4 day job. The Pros: The worker had childlike focus with the details of the job. He was meticulous moving the vents, speakers, associated electrical re-wiring. These jobs inevitably require some out of the box solutioning moments, and the worker rose to the challenge here. I was impressed with his painting, electrical, and all around handyman skills. The worker being a hefty guy was nimble The Cons: The 3 to 4 day job last over 4 weeks. It starts with an early start and an early finish the 1st day, working about 5 hours with a 90 to 120 minute break purchasing materials from Home Depot. This was the best and most productive day of the job. From there it was 2 to days when he came in to work. There was no true planning of the work. When the weather was unnaturally warm he did the inside work, so when it came time to do the outside work there were days of it being too cold. Then came the days of no vehicle (I called to offer a ride), and then days of being sick, and then days of no contact. When the bill came I had to make the owner aware (and he agreed) I was not going to pay for items that had nothing to do with my job, or pay for tools that they needed for they job. Amounting to $45.53 being removed. I will apologize for what I'm about to share, but I feel it is important. The worker would use my bathroom and leave bloodstained urine around the toilet seat and on the floor. Overall: This could've easily been a 5 star review if not for the delays and the little things that make all the difference. Ultimately the work got done, and done well enough to where I would've liked to use them for other work I need done. But the experience leaves me wanting to look elsewhere. For the record there were no additional work requested or me asking them to do more then was contracted for. If you are retired, or just don't care how long a job will take, these guys are for you.
