Jenny Bendelstein, a bachelor of music graduate, is a Chicago based flutist and teacher. Providing encouragement and expertise, she is dedicated to each student's musical growth.

I have completed advanced studies in music theory, ear training, jazz, orchestral music, chamber music, electronic music, western music history, musicology, world music and baroque flute. My ensemble experience includes chamber music, orchestra and symphonic wind ensembles (Northwestern University Ensembles, La Jolla Sinfonietta). My teachers have included renowned Italian soloist, Raffaele Trevisani; Chicago Symphony Orchestra principal piccoloist, Walfrid Kujala; assistant principal flutist Richard Graef and Vivian Bergova of The Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra and Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. I have placed in a number of competitions, including California wide Certificate of Merit for Young Artist Guild Competition and San Diego Flute Guild - Silver Division. I have also participated in master classes led by Jim Walker (National Flute Convention), James Galway and Raffaele Trevisani. I regularly perform experimental and electronic music around Chicago in venues such as Gallery 914, Observatory Studios, Elastic Arts Foundation, Cafe Mustache and Burlington Bar.
