Rich is an excellent trainer! Although I initially trained with him one-on-one for a few sessions at a fitness club, the majority of my training stemmed from participation in his 6 week boot camps. I didn't think he'd be able to work with me because of all the physical limitations I had, but he adjusted the tensity of the training to suit my individual needs. He never once made me feel like it was a chore to work with me - which was very important and impressive to a person like me who think she's "untrainable" - nor did he make me feel like I was less of a participant because I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class. He was extremely patient, very sincere, hardworking and always exhibited a positive and encouraging demeanor - all of the characteristics you'd look for and want in a true and serious personal trainer. I am a 53 year old male who enjoys cardio and body weight routines. In an effort to increase flexibility and power, I selected Ryan as my fitness trainer. I have worked with other trainers in the greater Lafayette area, but after my first session with Ryan, I recognized his superior knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ryan brings a next level experience to each session as he explains the mechanics behind each routine and the key points in sustaining appropriate technique start to finish. Furthermore, Ryan will detail necessary diet selections contributing toward goal achievement. I am excited to have him as my fitness expert! There's a unique beauty when it comes to the Workhorse Gym. When you walk into most gyms, the environment seems off, or even stale. All the stations can seem overwhelming and quite frankly to complicated to use at times. However at Workhorse, the environment and atmosphere is anything but stale. You can feel the intensity leangering around, but yet not intermediating in any sense. Everyone there is warm and supportive, and the number one rule is to respect everyone that walks through those doors. Ron has somthing incredible here, something that most gyms have lost. He himself is a remarkable trainer. He has never turned me down when I ask for help, and he's always offered me the knowledge that he's acquired over time. I have noticed tremendous results ever since I've started lifting at Workhorse. My body feels the best it has in my 20 years of life, and my strength has practically exploded. People from all walks of life would benefit from coming to this gym. Are you a powerlifter? He has all the weights you need. Body builder? Don't sweat it, all the equipment is there. Even if you're just someone who wants to feel better about themselves, Ron will see to it that you're given all the tools and knowledge needed to obtain your goals, just as long as you're willing to work for it!
Very professional. My trainer shows up on time, every time. She gives me a good workout and takes care that I do the exercises so as not to injure myself. Nice personality and very available to me.
I LOVED my workout at X-factor sports performance! Kyle was the trainer for the class and it was a great workout. He was very encouraging, and offered different levels of difficulty based on your comfort and skill level. I enjoyed the class so much, I didn't even check my watch once. I strongly recommend Kyle as a trainer. Thanks for a great workout, I can't wait for the next group class.
My first golf lesson! Scott is awesome! I was a little nervous about taking lessons from someone I've never met, but Scott created a very relaxed and non-intimating environment. He kept things very simple for the first lesson but showed me some of the things we would be working up to. He used a shot tracking setup via ipad and when I got home I could look at and review my lesson. I liked having this technology as I am an analytical person. I have been looking for lessons for a while and I can say that Scott's rates are VERY COMPETITIVE! To be honest I feel I definitely received the most bang for my buck. I'm very pleased with my choice for golf instruction and can't wait for my next lesson and breaking 90!! Rick Draher

I offer boot camp classes and personal training. I am certified in 3 Les Mills programs, namely Body Combat, Body Attack and CXWORX. I have been teaching group fitness since 2002. I have been a NASM-certified personal trainer since 2008, and I started my boot camp in 2009. My boot camp classes are for women only, and can be modified for every fitness level. I offer an interval training to help you achieve your fitness goals quickly.
Two things: The education I provide my clients. Any trainer can have their clients do a squat or a push-up and correct form. But I try to go a little deeper and really help clients learn how to do exercises properly AND effectively, to prevent injury and get the most out of their workout. The training and nutrition plans provided are specific to each individual. While I like to utilize some of the same moves for clients, no one training plan or daily workout is the same. It's all based on your goals and level of fitness.
