Shimmy has been excellent with Brianna for Piano lessons thus far. Thank you
I took voice and piano lessons from David for a period of about three years and always found him to be encouraging, reliable, and meticulous in his work, not to mention the fact that he is an absolute expert in his field as well as an outstanding performer. He meets you at your individual level and helps you select music that challenges you to grow as a musician even as it suits your ability at the time. He then pinpoints areas where you could improve, giving you helpful feedback and personal exercises tailored to addressing those areas where you could become better. He also gives you valuable coaching on all aspects of performance, including tips on your carriage, how to show emotion, and phrasing the music to name a few. I would enthusiastically recommend taking lessons from him whether you are interested in recreational lessons or becoming a professional performer. He will inspire you to reach beyond what you thought you'd be able to do and help you to reach your goals.
I have an open audition for The Voice. I am interested in hiring someone. Someone to critic and give opions
Miss Jenn relates to my young child very very well. Excellent voice lessons!
Nicole is great very friendly and always on time. My 7yo daughter really enjoys her lessons with her!
I have actively been a part of the Lafayette community -- that is, in the musical department. I participated in Honors Choir and band at Faith Christian School, accompanied soloists for ISSMA as well as for the Bach Chorale Children's summer camp, and have studied privately for over 12 years. I was accepted into the music program at the private University of Indianapolis for music education and enjoyed my time there but am now working towards a management degree at the School of Krannert at Purdue University. Playing piano and singing have always been passions and hobbies of mine, so I would love to try teaching privately again.
I feel that my welcoming personality and enthusiasm for sharing what I know are two things that set me apart from others.
I teach piano to people from elementary school age to adult, whether beginners, intermediate and advanced. I am also a vocal coach and accompanist who can give voice lessons to beginning and intermediate singers. I tailor my teaching style to your goals.
I am not like most vocal coaches that concentrate on opera, Broadway and classical. I concentrate on country, pop, rock, alternative, folk, r&b, blues, jazz, Disney, radio Disney, hip hop, Broadway, etc. I also coach in stage presence.
I am based in Westfield, Indiana, and I teach out of a music studio in my home on Saturdays only. I have a master's degree in music from Fresno State University, and I offer private piano and voice lessons. It is my pleasure to help my students become better musicians and gain confidence in their ability. I offer lessons in a wide variety of musical styles, so the lessons are tailored to your specific goals...whether you are pursuing better proficiency in classical or pop/modern music. I have very limited availability, but feel free to contact me because I am sometimes able to squeeze another student in.
I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor's in vocal performance. I give lessons to any level of skill and age!
I'm James Mitchell. I have been a professional entertainer for 34 years, covering regional, summer stock, dinner theater, and cruise ships. I provide voice lessons, from beginners to professionals, along with dance instruction and acting lessons. My motto is: "Everyone can sing, and everyone has rhythm; if you can cry, you can act!" I look forward to giving back to the business all that I have learned. First lesson is free always, and then if you like the knowledge that I have to give and teach, we can go from there. I look forward to working with those who have a desire to succeed in the business, and if you have true talent, I will be the first to tell you, not like American Idol.
Most voice teachers, or vocal coaches do not specialize in genres other than classical, or traditional training. Because of my experience as a professional recording artist, and feature artist , as a singer, and a keyboard player, I specialize in microphone techniques, for both live performance, as well a studio singing. Because I have a vast amount of experience as a session singer, I can prepare any singer for the studio environment. Unless the voice teacher you find has this experience themselves, if you are wanting this sort of training, you will not achieve it in regular traditional, acoustical lessons. Also, my hourly rate is slightly cheaper because I believe I can accomplish more for the client because I can get them singing quicker. I don't waste a lot of time with traditional technique having clients learn songs, but rather I have them learn the same techniques by doing. We learn through imitation, exactly the same way we learn to speak. My clients notice a huge difference in as little as four or five sessions.
Check out this local professional if you need to hire someone who offers beginner singing lessons. This skilled instructor also provides group singing lessons.
