I am a third year student studying at the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music. I couldn't be more thankful for the time in which I had my lessons with David. Truly, if it weren't for his help, I wouldn't be in music school today. David is not only incredibly talented, but is also an incredibly versatile and personal individual. One of the best things about David is that he always goes the extra mile. He won't stop at simply training your voice; he will tackle your fears! If you're afraid of singing or playing in front of people, he's going to find a stage to put you on. He could have stuck with just performing, but to put it simply, David is the type that can't resist sharing his knowledge with others. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking lessons in the Indianapolis area. 5/5

My daughter took private piano lessons from Marla starting at 5yo in Jan 2016 to 7.5yo in June 2018. We stopped because we are moving. She was very patient with our daughter, and at the same time, challenged her. She encouraged her always, which is very important at this age. Her lessons were 1/2 hour per week, so start and end Time was important. Marla was always aware of the time, and started / ended her lessons punctually. Marla has a lot of teaching experience including in a private, group and school setting. Our daughter was able to compete in the annual Lafayette music competition and participate in seasonal recitals, which were good not only to show her music skills, but also to perform in front of the public and also, give her confidence. Music is so important for kids, and we highly recommend her for the primary/ elementary age group.

My daughter loves taking classes from Caitlin. Before we moved to WL, my daughter was taking voice lessons for almost four years and her criteria for a good teacher are quite high. Caitlin is very professional, attentive, and fun to work with.

About

I have actively been a part of the Lafayette community -- that is, in the musical department. I participated in Honors Choir and band at Faith Christian School, accompanied soloists for ISSMA as well as for the Bach Chorale Children's summer camp, and have studied privately for over 12 years. I was accepted into the music program at the private University of Indianapolis for music education and enjoyed my time there but am now working towards a management degree at the School of Krannert at Purdue University. Playing piano and singing have always been passions and hobbies of mine, so I would love to try teaching privately again.

About

I am not like most vocal coaches that concentrate on opera, Broadway and classical. I concentrate on country, pop, rock, alternative, folk, r&b, blues, jazz, Disney, radio Disney, hip hop, Broadway, etc. I also coach in stage presence.

About

I'm James Mitchell. I have been a professional entertainer for 34 years, covering regional, summer stock, dinner theater, and cruise ships. I provide voice lessons, from beginners to professionals, along with dance instruction and acting lessons. My motto is: "Everyone can sing, and everyone has rhythm; if you can cry, you can act!" I look forward to giving back to the business all that I have learned. First lesson is free always, and then if you like the knowledge that I have to give and teach, we can go from there. I look forward to working with those who have a desire to succeed in the business, and if you have true talent, I will be the first to tell you, not like American Idol.

About

Most voice teachers, or vocal coaches do not specialize in genres other than classical, or traditional training. Because of my experience as a professional recording artist, and feature artist , as a singer, and a keyboard player, I specialize in microphone techniques, for both live performance, as well a studio singing. Because I have a vast amount of experience as a session singer, I can prepare any singer for the studio environment. Unless the voice teacher you find has this experience themselves, if you are wanting this sort of training, you will not achieve it in regular traditional, acoustical lessons. Also, my hourly rate is slightly cheaper because I believe I can accomplish more for the client because I can get them singing quicker. I don't waste a lot of time with traditional technique having clients learn songs, but rather I have them learn the same techniques by doing. We learn through imitation, exactly the same way we learn to speak. My clients notice a huge difference in as little as four or five sessions.

About

I am based in Westfield, Indiana, and I teach out of a music studio in my home on Saturdays only. I have a master's degree in music from Fresno State University, and I offer private piano and voice lessons. It is my pleasure to help my students become better musicians and gain confidence in their ability. I offer lessons in a wide variety of musical styles, so the lessons are tailored to your specific goals...whether you are pursuing better proficiency in classical or pop/modern music. I have very limited availability, but feel free to contact me because I am sometimes able to squeeze another student in.
