Crystal Sylvester is a certified life and relationship coach. Passionate about helping women break the cycle of painful relationships and have the relationship of their dreams, Crystal created SoulMate Coach Crystal to help guide women to find true love. Crystals clients learn how to attract healthy partners and have healthy relationships. Relationships that often lead to marriage. In short, they learn how to be successful in love. After a tragic accident that brought Crystals sixteen years of marriage to a sudden halt, reflection on her marriage in the early days of widowhood provided peace and new direction. Crystal wanted to share what she had learned in her loving sixteen-year marriage, about creating a lasting, loving relationship with women who were ready to find true love. The powerful and life-changing truths that Crystal has learned in her marriage, and as she faced her husbands death, made her want to share what she knew with others. And so began her counseling career, as she soon signed up to take courses that would certify Crystal as a life and relationship coach. While her husband may have passed, her dreams of helping others were re-born.
I have over 15 years of experience as a career coach and counselor in both the federal and private sectors and enjoy helping clients find their strengths, passions and a better fit for more meaningful work. I can help clients with all phases of career transition, whether it is exploring career goals and strategy, job search techniques, such as resume development, interviewing and networking skills, or retirement. If a person is unclear of what direction to take, career and/or personality assessments may help. I am certified in both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and DISC behavioral assessments. My counseling philosophy and approach is to meet the client where they are and help them to see their own strengths in order to better solve whatever issue(s) they may be experiencing at the time. I enjoy seeing the light bulb go off for someone when they figure it out for themselves. I bring a sense of humor and lightheartedness to the therapeutic process when appropriate for clients to be able to see the lighter side of their circumstances. It is such a joy and honor to be able to partner and support clients in making the changes in their lives they desire.

If you want to rediscover you and connect to your soul self, I am here to help guide you on your journey. Life through aging, uncertainty, family circumstances, unfulfilled career path, religious disconnect, fear, etc. forms a thick cloud over our true self. It keeps us from living a life that is true to our core. How do you know it is your time to go deeper? You feel there is "something more." Something that is beyond your current identity or path; this "something more" feels just out of reach. You feel that there is a disconnect with the life you are currently living. You want "something more" that is not fulfilled with buying more, eating more; being entertained more, arguing more and all of life's other distractions. Behind these surface distractions, "something else" that is elusive nags at you. That "something else" is your soul calling to reconnect. I am a certified yoga teacher who has studied spirituality for decades longer than I have practiced yoga. Even as a child, I felt a deep connection to something deep within me. I have practiced yoga for 20 years and have been certified for eight years. I do not teach yoga in the typical style of yoga currently in fashion that focuses on poses. In fact, there are several branches of yoga; the physical aspect is, but a small one. As such, spiritual guidance does need to incorporate any of the physical aspects of yoga at all. I minored in religious studies, focusing on the esoteric aspects of spirituality. Please note, spirituality and soul reconnect that I speak of is beyond formal religions. I am not part of a formal religion, but if you are of a certain faith, journeying to your soul level will only deepen your religious faith. Spirituality is about the self, the deeper self that creates a life fulfilled with love and joy. You also do not need to be a religious person to experience yourself spiritually. I have had many life experiences, some very tough ones and some very great ones. Through them all, I keep coming back to two things: A deep sense of my spiritual self and at my core; I am a teacher. A session with me is individualized to you. I have several modalities to draw from to start your journey (yoga, meditation, Reiki, writing, coaching/mentoring and others). I will also guide you to other methods to assist you on your path and incorporate my intuitive skills. After an initial interview where I listen to what you are saying beyond your words, we will create a "roadmap" for your journey to go back to yourself. Your life is a story; live that story with love and joy. Please note that I am not a psychological counselor; this is not psychological counseling.
