If you want delicious food at an affordable price, you want Chef Kev! I’m am surly the pickiest eater there is, but Chef Kev got the best of me! We hired Chef Kev to provide the food for a networking event that we hosted. As an event planning company, we have had the chance to taste food from many different caterers throughout the Maryland, DC and VA area, but Chef Kev is among the best! His food made all the difference for our event and we cannot wait to begin referring our clients too him! (I should also mention how professional, and neat he was. He left the venue looking better than when he got there!)

Nick and his lovely wife provided the music and photo booth recently for an event sponsored by my company. Our executives are very hard to please, and I know that I caused him much stress as we prepared for the event. From his first contact, he was professional, sincere, and had a strong commitment to customer service. The service he provided far exceeded our expectations. Xen Live is the only company I'll call anymore for live sound solutions. After a few bad experiences with other companies in the area, I had the pleasure of working with Jay on a wedding event. He arrived early (and very well-dressed), set up quickly and efficiently, and then proceeded to do an incredible job hosting the event and getting people on the dance floor. 10 out of 10, 5 stars, highly recommended, etc. Bottom line, if you want to be certain your event will be a success, CALL XEN LIVE.

After I decided to plan a 70th birthday party for my father, I knew I wanted something different other than just a few guests at home. After speaking with the owner of ALD, April, about what I was looking for and what my budget was, she immediately started helping me brainstorm options for locations and vendors to take care of everything from cupcake orders to banners. She even went to visit the restaurant, see the room, and speak to the restaurant event planner before I could make it over to the location. April is super organized and has timelines and deadlines for each step in planning the event and she always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. When the day of the event arrived she had all of the materials as discussed and decorated the dining room with a beautiful black and gold theme. She provided everything from chair covers and table linens to balloons. Everything went as planned and she stayed around to make sure everything was on track. I'm so glad that I worked with ALD! They created a memorable and unforgettable event.

My husband and I hired Floyds DJ Services for our May 13, 2017, ceremony in Woodbridge, Va. Finding a DJ had proven to be my toughest task during the wedding planning phase. . . that is, until Kacey responded to my request for information. She's pleasant, easy to work with and was always responsive. The constant threat of rain for our outdoor ceremony has us wavering on whether we'd be outdoors or move the ceremony inside. Kacey remind flexible as we didn't make the final call until just hours before the ceremony was to start. We were lucky enough to have BOTH Kacey and her husband, DJ Unknown, for our ceremony and reception. He is a GREAT hype man, and together, they read the crowd and played the right mix of old-school jams (as I requested) and current Top 40 Hits (including a ton of songs from my personal playlist suggestion). DJ Kacey even got on the dance floor to lead the crowd into a line dance and help get the party started. Their sound system was super crisp and there wasn't a single glitch! We had selected a final song to be played, and when it came time, DJ Kacey and DJ Unknown surprised us with a PHENOMENAL send off by having our guests line up in a receiving line to end the day. In a word, it was pure magic! Floyds DJ Services is a true example of exceptional quality that doesn't break the bank. I'd recommend them 10 times over! -Kevin G.

Chris was a fabulous find and worked to make our very last minute birthday celebration with friends a special and memorable event. Working within my budget, and keeping in mind a guest list of a dozen friends and about as many palates and dietary restrictions, Chris presented a phenomenal menu of easy to make, yet impressive appetizers for us. For our event, he then led us through the how-to's of each dish, teaching us how to create each masterpiece in a fun, laid back atmosphere. He arrived early with everything (literally everything including plates, cleaning supplies and serving dishes...he even had his own cooler since our fridge was full of wines for the party!), kept pace with our boisterous crowd and cleaned it all away so we had nothing but fun and friends to occupy our time. In the future I'd spend more time discussing my interests in pairing each of Chris' dishes with a specific wine selection and how that would roll out as that piece of the evening ended up being more of an after thought than I'd originally wanted due to my lack of communication, but overall we wouldn't have changed a thing as Chris helped make our birthday event an evening we won't soon forget. He graciously shared his tricks of the trade with us, accommodated 12 people (and a dog!) in a relatively small space and even kindly engaged our curmudgeon neighbor as he was leaving which was far and above his call of duty. Chris is truly a consummate gentleman, a master of his craft and a joy to work with. Definitely would hire Chris again!

Where do I begin? From his drinks to his service to his interaction with guests, Daniel was simply amazing. We hired him to elevate our holiday party with friends by having him bartend. From the first interaction over the phone, he was invested in our wants/needs, offered the utmost professionalism and even brought to the table some creative thinking for the party - ensuring we had the right flow for guests, etc. Daniel came out to our home ahead of the party to get a lay of the land and personally introduce himself, truly went above and beyond. On the day of the party, he arrived early to allow ample setup time. He even brought his own decor to add to the overall atmosphere. Throughout the night he made fantastic tasting drinks customized to our guests desires, kept everything immensely tidy and built a repoire with the guests that they were raving to us abou. Daniel was even thoughtful down to building a relationship with our 10mo th old puppy, Bruce. He brought him treats and played with him so Bruce became comfortable with having him in our home throughout the night. I cannot sing enough praises of Daniel and I can't wait to plan the next event so we can have him out again. His experience and professionalism were unparallel!! Highly highly recommend!! And happy to give a referral. Oh, and don't pass up his mojitos or orange crushes - they were the most popular drinks of the night. :)

I have witnessed her plan everything from simple birthday gatherings to bachelorette parties and bridal showers for friends. When I needed an event planned, asking Suzy to help plan was a no brainer. Jared was the bartender for the event and he was AWESOME!! He was engaging, high energy and pleasant with our residents. We can't wait to have him come back for our next event. I loved everything about working with Dianna of Catering reserved! From start to finish she delivered everything she promised, including delicious food! She was prompt, creative, and thorough in her proposal; she worked with me to refine my needs and I was very comfortable with my final decisions; Her pricing was affordable and fair and most importantly she promised there would really be enough food to feed everyone and there was! She promised it would be delivered on time (it was), that her staff would set it all up nicely without my help (he did!) and that it would be hot and delicious (and it was!). Nothing was forgotten; nothing was omitted. The serving utensils were there, the sterno, and the clear containers were perfect for serving the food in. I didn't need china serving dishes for my event, but Dianna does offer that and if my next event needs Catering Reserved's full service, I won't hesitate to use it. (Food plus waitstaff for setup and clean up.) I've never met Dianna in person, and I never tasted her food prior to hiring her for my very important event, but from our first conversation I just knew I could trust her, and I was right. I highly recommended her! Thanks to Catering Reserved, I got to visit with my guests and totally enjoy my "after-the-wedding" party.

Mrs. Robinson came to our home and explained 'exactly' what "Brides to-be'- does', she was also concerned with what our expectation's were for our wedding. We were so impressed with her kindness, her elegance, her organization skills and her ability to take the stress of planning off of my plate! She saved me so much stress!!! Brian, of Smoker' s Delight BBQ, was excellent to work with from the very start. He went above and beyond to make sure our special event was smooth! Now the food....friends and family are STILL talking about the food, and our event was 3 weeks ago! Delicious! I love how he does the prep. onsite--you get to see him throw down! I had a very pleasant experience with CADS. I needed an arch for my wedding as my original plans to do it myself was not going to work. My request was short notice (1 week before the wedding date) and CADs was very fast, efficient and accommodating in providing me with some sample pictures for the arch per my specifications. I loved it and so did my guests. CADs worked with the vendor for set up and break down under the venue terms and everything worked out great! The price was also reasonable. It made my wedding day ceremony a little more special!

Working with EA was amazing... from start to finish. Their responsiveness, their professionalism and their vision--had me from day one. From the time of first contact, Shavonna calmed me and reassured me that EA could turn my vision into a reality. We hired EA for event design--and they did just that! Every picture I sent and every idea I conveyed was implemented to the fullest extent. EA received kudos from my venue and my wedding planner for their efficient manner for getting the job done, as well as the exquisite design details. When my new hubby and I were introduced, as we walked into the ballroom, I literally cried. As a bride, planning for months, you can never imagine just HOW it will all pull together--your vision, your ideas, your dreams--that makes you so very nervous. As we walked through the crowd to start our first dance, I remember thinking "it is literally dead-on...they nailed my vision dead-on..." I remember telling Shavonna prior that I couldn't imagine how all of my ideas would pull together--couldn't envision it... her response was "leave it to her--that was EA's job, that's why I hired them...so I could remove that concern off my plate" Once again...dead-on.... From the lanterns, to the Eiffel tower feather centerpieces, to the gorgeous linens to the spectacular feather bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages....I am forever grateful.... Many people tell you to prepare for something not to go right, or for something not to be perfect on your wedding day. However, I can honestly say, hiring EA will prove everyone wrong...your day will be amazing--far beyond what you ever dreamt possible--they will meet AND exceed your expectations!
