I have the fortune of receiving a plate of food by this man who calls himself Chef P. I know him through his wife I work with her. I need to let you all know that I am an extremely picky eater but the food this Chef prepares is outstanding. I had a stuffed bell pepper for the first time in my life and it was absolutely delicious I ate the entire pepper. I had dirty rice peas and a salad and I can't wait for his food truck and then his restaurant because I will most definitely invest. It was only in March that we decided to marry in June 2018, and we decided on a small wedding of 60-75 people. And the very first detail that I wanted to take care of was food. I googled "caterer for small wedding in New Orleans" and miraculously, on Thumbtack, Gerard Maras's name came up - there were other names, but in reading about Chef Maras's life in the cooking world, I instinctively knew he was the one. I responded to his message inviting me to contact him. He quickly responded and once I spoke to him, I knew he was the best choice for me. He was interested in finding out about my vision for our wedding, and in listening to my thoughts and ideas about what I thought I might want, over the next few weeks he presented me with pictures of food possibilities and ideas. He was so helpful in discussing each dish with me, and soon came up with a finished menu for a wonderful wedding feast with delicious, unusual and beautiful food. A wedding with all the details to figure out can be very stressful, especially on short notice, but Gerard Maras exudes a sense of calm, confidence and professionalism that made everything for our wedding smooth and easy. The food was wonderful, especially his freshly made pasta with a crawfish sauce, and his food was the hot topic at our wedding. All of our family and friends are still talking about having had the best food they ever had at a wedding. He has a unique talent in not only being a wonderful chef, but knowing what foods are complimentary to each other, and presenting food beautifully, and using only the best seasonal, highest quality and fresh food. He is a real artist in that he makes everything seem effortless, but what he does requires the greatest talent and skill. Thank you Gerard, for making our wedding a truly memorable event - not just for Joe and I, but for all of our family and dear friends.
I've used this company for several catering events as well as referred them to others. They have ALWAYS been very professional. The menu accommodates various diets and the food is delicious! I never have to worry about who you book because I know the answer will always be Seasons!
Blair is an amazing chef! She came into my air bnb and taught my group how to prepare all of our favorite foods! She was professional and fun. The menu was very diverse and handled the flow extremely well. I plan on working with Blair in the future. If you are looking for a chef to prepare a meal or teach a class she is your girl.
Jeanne did a wonderful job for our lundi gras afternoon tea party. The food was delicious and a wonderful combination of savory and sweet flavors. She was very easy to communicate with, the food was delicious and affordable, and I would reccommend Gauthreaux's Gourmet Cuisine to anyone.
Working with Chef Derrick was extremely simple.. He was very punctual, detail oriented and very polite. His pricing was fair, especially for the quality of his work.. And let me tell you about his cooking. OMG his Florentine Stuffed Chicken is to DIE for lol.. Will definitely hire again in the future..

I’ve been lucky enough to have eaten her food a few times now and I can’t say enough about how delicious it is. She is a delight to work with and I was initially impressed by her formal training as well. But after experiencing her cooking, all that really matters is that she really knows how to make things that are absolutely fantastic to eat!!!
We will cater any event! We do pick-up, drop-off, and on-site cooking. We serve seafood boils, fish fries, and BBQ. We cook anything, from crab cakes and swordfish to BBQ chicken and baked beans.
