"Jessica has been amazing for me. First off, she has a very pleasant personality---which is always helpful. I contacted Jessica because I have sleep apnea and read that singing lessons could be helpful in building up the throat muscles and developing better breathing. I have also wanted to take voice lessons so it was two birds with one stone for me. I have been taking weekly lessons for about a month now and am already seeing improvement in both my voice and, more importantly, in my sleep quality. Jessica has gone the extra mile for me in finding voice exercises which will assist in my apnea. She has been doing some online researches and has even ordered a book on the subject. She is fun to work with and it is obvious that this is less about money than it is about her passion for music. Her rates are extremely reasonable and she is generous with her time. I look forward to many more lessons with her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Jessica is a true professional. If you have ever thought about voice lessons you cannot go wrong giving her a call."

"I am a professional multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with a wide array of touring and recording experience. I've toured nationally and internationally with the band I founded as well as the multi-instrumentalist with award winning rock band Third Eye Blind. I have also appeared on television shows such as The Tonight Show and Good Morning America. My services for events range from weddings, cocktail hours, and galas to festivals and club tours. My personal writing is in the genre of Rock/Pop but I readily perform all styles. As a teacher and coach, I have had the privilege of working with children and adults alike for the past 5 years. I teach at the Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School as well as maintaining my own private studio. Students of mine have ranged from taking lessons solely for their private development to training with me for auditions for Broadway musicals and television pilots. I pride myself on providing training that brings out the best in my students, and gives them the confidence to pursue their creativity to their fullest potential."

"My son has been taking lessons here for 10 years and is part of the All Star Band which gives kids/youth the opportunity to experience being in a band and putting on a live show. Lessons have helped him grown into a better musician and given him confidence. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. The instructors are great... I recommend them to everyone who asks where my son takes lessons."

" Guitar Lessons : I had a good experience with Andy. I had to stop lessons for a long out of town trip. Plan on starting back in the spring 2014. I had a mixed bag of guitar skills and he was able to focus on what I needed to learn and show me how to do it. Thanks"

"Tim did a great job taking me from someone who had rarely sung to someone who then became very comfortable singing along with my part time profession of playing piano and keyboard. I was happy with my progress after working with Tim and him giving me the necessary coaching I needed."

"I've only just begun working with Martin, but I think we're off to a great start. I have very little by way of formal instruction, so I have a lot to learn, and I'm glad I've decided to take lessons, even though I'm in my 30s. Martin is very knowledgeable and patient, and his piano is just so lovely."

"Sara is a pleasure to work with. She balances professionalism and high expectations with warmth and flexibility. Beginning piano lessons in adulthood has brought special challenges and she makes lessons fun and challenging, but low-key enough for my busy schedule and lifestyle. Highly recommended!"

"After taking piano lessons from a traditional piano teacher for 6 years, I needed a change. Steve was the perfect choice. He played at a local piano bar at the time, and I wanted to hone my skills so I could play in bands, too. I assumed he would teach me the ins and outs of chords and then send me off to conquer the music scene, but it turned out he had a real mastery of musical theory, and he held it to a very high importance. He began each of our lessons with music theory - all the basics that make a solid foundation for any musician. Then, he introduced a new concept to something I had been doing all along. He gave me sheet music to learn - tough teaching songs - then after a time, began blocking my view of my hands with paper while playing. Eventually, he'd block my hands and take away the music, teaching me a very important part of playing anything in front of people. You have to know the music inside and out. You can't rely on the sheets in front of you. That's the only way you can truly immerse yourself in the song and let your fingers do the playing. His fees were reasonable and the time was very well-spent. You have to do the work between lessons to get the most out of them. Steve has a true mastery of live performance on every level, and it would behoove any musician, young or old, beginner or skilled, to spend a year in his teaching. We can all benefit from it. I certainly did. I've been in various bands, ever since, and I haven't looked back except to remember who helped me get here."
