Gladys officiated our wedding with 6 days notice and it was everything we needed it to be! Gladys was more than excited to meet with us beforehand in our limited time to get to know us a bit before the wedding and learn about our relationship. When it came to the day of the wedding, Gladys was professional, warm, and made everyone feel welcome. We loved having a ceremony conducted in both Spanish and English, Gladys did a great job making both parts of the family feel included in the small beautiful ceremony we had. Our wedding was special, unique , beautiful and intimate. It could not have been all that it was without Glayds officiating.
We hired Jennifer and team for our wedding 'day-of' coordinator in late October. From the beginning she was very easy to work with and offered us many good tips and answered all of our questions leading up to the big day. Her knowledge and experience, which shined throughout the entire process, helped alleviate my stress and allowed me to relax on my wedding day. Heidi has been catering events for our family for over 10 years. Her menus are creative , healthy and scrumptious, from romantic dinners for two to weddings her food and energy are amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an extordinary culinary experience.
I can't say enough good things about Marty Malone. My husband and I had our wedding at the Historic Village Hall in Framingham, MA. The hall was beautiful, but did not include any 'frills' other than the tables. We needed to find a caterer that could not only feed our 150 guests, but also bring in alcohol, provide bartenders and insurance, and help to show the guests where and when to eat. We also had to do it on a very tight budget. Marty got back to me right away on Thumbtack, and answered what seemed like hundreds of questions from me in a timely and patient manner. He was so helpful with all of our needs, and met every single one of them with no stress or hassle. We were able to customize our meal choices, and make changes when needed. He provided an incredible ice cream sundae bar as well as gluten free options when asked about it at the last minute. On the day of the wedding, I saw that Marty had brought lots of friendly staff with him, and all were dressed nicely and smiling. They catered to our guests and made sure everyone was fed and happy. The cleanup was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Marty for any of your catering needs!
Nancy from Coastal Music Services was amazing to work with. She was easy going, accommodating, fun and a pleasure to work with. She had great ideas that added to the atmosphere of our wedding. She also was willing to tailor to our needs and was extremely flexible. She played fun, energetic music that kept our wedding upbeat. She was wonderful with our guests and I would highly recommend her for any event. I got may compliments about our DJ from guests during our wedding. We love Nancy !!
Kelly is awesome! with less than 2 months, she organized everything and was fully of ideas (even the wedding day he surprised me with the details). She knew and understood exactly what I wanted for my wedding since the first time we talked and she was there all day attending every details of the ceremony/party. We highly recommend her!!
From the moment we had contact with one another until the day of my wedding reception, Seas the Moment went above and beyond. The decor was beautiful. Her responses to my emails were immediate and her attention to detail was flawless. I feel like I have gained a friend. She listened to all of my requests and she also accommodated any last minute changes I made. I would give her a 10 out of 10 all day, everyday. I am very critical of events or parties I throw and I am pleased to say that I would work with her again in a heart beat!!
Susan was our JP and day of coordinator. She was amazing and went above and beyond her duties for the day. She arrived early the day of the wedding and did last minute things for the reception. She also stayed late after the rehearsal the night before and helped finish some decorations and even helped iron our chair covers. She was such a pleasure to work with and so helpful with everything. She is just amazing!
I've worked many different jobs with Brooke. She became one of my favorites to work with on the first job we worked together at the Boston Public Library. In an industry that is very stressful, has tight timelines, and no room for error it's great to work with someone like her. She was able to direct myself and my crew efficiently, clearly explaining where and how she wanted the equipment set up. She maintains focus and keeps a level head at every event I've worked with her. I've seen her communicate and coordinate several different vendors which isn't easy the day of a wedding or private event. I always look forward to the opportunity to work with Brooke because she takes out the normal stress and aggravation with the job. I work in event rentals and have never had a problem I couldn't work out with Brooke!
I would highly recommend Cathy. This was my 1st time using an event planner and she has now spoiled me. I will never plan these type of events on my own again, and will only use her! My daughter was beyond thrilled with how she put together her Sweet 16, and my daughter is extremely hard to please. She delivered on everything we discussed and more. People from the venue where we held this party were peaking their heads in to admire the work she did setting up. Cynthia coordinated our wedding in May and I have to say, if it wasn't for her I don't think we could have pulled it off. She was outstanding. Trudi was very helpful in planning my mother's 93rd birthday party. She looked into restaurants and private rooms for our event and then found us the perfect place with a fantastic jazz trio who played music of my mum's era and more. Trudi recommended the florist, the birthday cake bakery and offered many helpful ideas to make the evening wonderful. The food and service at the restaurant Trudi recommended were great. I'm so glad I found Trudi. She made my mother's birthday fun, unique and memorable. Everything went smoothly and my mum is still talking about her lovely birthday party!
Beth is an amazingly talented wedding planner and a true professional. We hired her as our day-of coordinator for a very much DIY wedding. We were in touch constantly during the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always so responsive and on top of things - including creating a very detailed timeline and staying in touch with our many vendors. The day was just flawless, thanks to Beth. Kelly did the day of coordination for my wedding, and all the pre-work to prepare for the day. She helped find additional staff, suggest vendors, and essentially anything I asked of her. Kelly was truly amazing and saved my wedding in so many ways! From the moment I hired Kelly, she gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything will be perfect. There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Beyond being exceptionally communicative during our wedding events, she proved to be an adept problem solver, swiftly resolving issues and ensuring that the day went smoothly. Five stars is selling Theresa short- we’d need about nine stars to truly convey what she did for us. Hiring her was the Single Best Decision we made about anything having to do with our wedding. What makes Theresa a nine-star event planner goes far beyond being great at her job, but it bears mentioning that her skills as a planner are fantastic. She helped us make a plan we liked, kept us on schedule, and it cost exactly what she said it would. But she went above and beyond the planning to become our ally, counselor and forceful advocate in an unfamiliar process. Our typical conversation went like this: Me: I am worried about [thing that I thought was a problem]. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of three ways to fix the problem] Me: I think that [overpriced wedding thing] costs too much. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of two cheaper options, plus one way to avoid the expense altogether]. Me: Can you send me [thing we won’t need to worry about for three months] Theresa: Don’t worry. I will send it to you when you need to take care of it. …and so on. She was always calm, and she was always reassuring- and she was always right. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude for a smooth and wonderful wedding day.
