It was a pleasure dealing with Chris. he was responsive to any and all questions and was extremely helpful in a pinch when the weather caused a hiccup in our plans and had to change dates at the last minuet. His cooking was exceptional and I look forward to having him cook again for next year if he's available.

We used J&L catering for our wedding on 7.21.18. They were wonderful! Our guest raved about the quality of the food. The whole team was professional and provided amazing service. John was great to work with from the start. He was professional at all times, responsive and his passion for cooking shows in all he does. We will absolutely used J&L for future events!

Marty and co catered our daughter's grad party, what a wonderful experience! Everything was fantastic. More compliments on the quality of the food and the great service than I could count. Marty's cooking was done by his two sons and, along with the staff, provided a great, seamless experience for all. This was my best experience ever with a caterer, absolutely great! HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!!

Where to start...from our first contact to the seeing the kitchen totally clean after cooking the most fabulous food and serving at our party of 100 or intimate dinner for 14-it was all perfection. I can't wait for the next event-my only fear-Renee will become so sought after that she may be busy.....I know to book way in advance!

Beth has been great to work with! Very flexible with menu, my choices, and days that work for cooking. Her meals/food is FAB! BEST part? I have so lost weight eating her food. Even the yummy pixie balls aren't added inches to my waste line ;) Definitely recommend to anyone to busy to cook meals daily and or is looking for better/health meals to serve the family or themselves.

I took two cooking classes with Ana. For someone like me, who feels as comfortable in the kitchen as in outer space, my experience with Ana was eye-opening. She teaches with patience, care, and attention to detail. Her good humor helped me relax through the preparation of a three-course dinner... Twice!! I feel more confident in my kitchen, and now I dare to experiment with more than scrambled eggs. Thank you, Ana!

Brian has come into my classroom three times to make Mac and Cheese for my students. The first time he came in I was concerned about how could he keep the students focused and interested in his cooking. He was excellent. He attended class wearing his chef jacket and brought his knives. Once Brian had started to prepare the mac and cheese, he took time to explain to the students the 5 main sauces. He continually fielded questions from the students. The questions ranged from "What is the strangest food you have ever prepared?" to "How much do you make?" Brian was able to keep their interest especially when he showed them how he chopped food. He showed the students the various knives that he uses when preparing food. Brian finished his presentation by serving the students a generous helping of Mac and Cheese. On his last visit, Brian was challenged to prepare his dish without using gluten. Brian was able to do this and still provide a delicious meal. Brian is a very knowledgeable chef. He has an easy going personality that makes your experience enjoyable. The pride he shows in his craft is inspiring.

I hired Jeanne because I needed a health and Wellness coach. She helped me pick out the food I needed to prepare healthy meals. She taught me a lot of things I didn’t know about nutrition and how to make a healthy meal plan without spending much money.

Never a bad meal with Eric. His knowledge and skills-- and his heart-- show in his food, and he's not afraid of suggestions. All told, a very personal touch in all he cooks.

        About

I offer cooking, catering, meal preparation and cleaning. I can work anytime for as long as needed and can teach people to cook, shop, and watch calories.

        About

I am semi-professionally trained in business/culinary arts. What that means is before attending school for culinary arts people were already requesting my services. Cooking being my second love gave me motivation to attend classes and work at several local restaurants. I quickly became aware that my own creativity was not wanted in the kitchens of these long established eateries. That being said, I am confident that any cuisine you request I can accommodate. I can provide samples at your request, delivered by myself to your door, and assist you in deciding what your special event needs. I am Serve Safe/Serve TIP certified.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
