Ross Hardaway has been my personal trainer for the past three months. I meet with him for two 45 minute sessions per week and I have definitely met my goals of becoming stronger and more fit overall. Nick was recommended to me by a friend. This was my first experience with a personal trainer and I was looking for someone who was knowledgeable in fitness, would listen to my personal goals, and help motivate me to reach them. Nick is all of those things! He has a great personality and is a pleasure work with. Fitness and safety are very important to me and with a full time job and active 1 year old I cant afford any injuries! Nick has taught me many things I have been able to incorporate into my own work outs and I know I am working out the right way. I was also looking for someone who would respect my personal fitness vision and teach me how to achieve the goals I want for myself. He has been wonderful in this regard. My husband and I signed up to get fit together and Nick has designed work outs that address our individual goals and challenge us. Super motivating! He makes me believe in myself. I have seen growth in Nick as well. My experience with Rebecca has been excellent!! I have been with her going into my 4th year....every Mon and Wed I look forward to getting my butt whiped into shape!!! Frank Ricardo (Option Fitness) has been my personal trainer for 7 years. I had 3 trainers before but after training with Frank for a few sessions I decided to stick with him only on a long term schedule. The reasons for that were several. First, I think Frank pays attention to and understands my body and its needs. Second, based on that he developed a detailed program to get the most out of me. Third, he stays with me to make sure I stick with the program during a training session but also on the homework he gives me. Fourth, he prepares me before a session so that I am ready for the most demanded exercises. Fifth, he pays attention to any factors that affect my physical ciondition by asking me questions regarding my physical and mental condition before he decides what exercises to do (i.e he checks if I have the right amount of energy, nutrition, rest, injury, etc..). Sixth, he follows up by calling me the next day after training to see how I feel. Seventh, he constantly challenges me to reach higher levels. Eighth, we connect mentaly in an excellent way. Nineth, he is very prompt and ahead of me on our appointments and he is prepared by the time I get to the gym. Tenth, he is a great motivator. As a result at the age of 56 not only I am in much better shape than I was 8 years ago, but I feel that I am comparable to guys 20 years younger than me. Because of that I am able to play very compettitive soccer in a Division with 30 year old playes. In fact I am the oldest and only player over 50 who plays in the age 30 Division. I have been working out with Grayson for approximately 6 weeks thus far at the time of this review. As someone who has been playing soccer most all his life and doing crossfit for 3 years, it has always been a challenge in order for me to put on muscle. Grayson has been hitting the books and getting creative in my routines in order to try and achieve my goals. Working out is one of my least favorite things to do, however, Grayson keeps me motivated with his humor and wit while maintaining a professionalism with his routine.
I did a trial training session at a local gym and was very pleased with the experience. Xavier was motivating, professional and encouraging. He focused on what I wanted to get out of the session and pushed me throughout the session to break through to the next level. .
