It has been a great learning experience for my two daughters. I dont think I could ever find a better piano teacher. Not only does Ms. Heather share her great talent with my kids, she is also very friendly and always cheerful and looking forward to teaching them. My daughters have improved dramatically since we started with her a few years ago. We also really enjoy the convenience of in home lessons! I highly recommend Lessons In Your Home for music lessons. My daughters now look forward to their piano practice daily. Great Falls, VA Resident
she is a very friendly person and knows exactly what I need to improve my cello skills.
We had Elizabeth as teacher for our 14year old son and it was amazing to see how he progressed with her from lesson to lesson. She clearly is and outstanding teacher which I would highly recommend to everyone looking for cello lessons. We really miss her a lot.
While I’ve only started my violin lessons Kirsten has been a wonderful teacher whom I know will be able to help me learn to play the violin.
My teenager takes clarinet lessons at the music space. Her instructor, Zach, is great! The entire team is very professional and kind. I would highly recommend "The Music Space".
My son and three grandchildren all study with Georgia,. It is a rare teach who can work easily and productively with both school children and adults. My 12 yo twin grandsons think lessons with Miss Georgia are "fun and interesting!" They also made Junior High All-County Orchestra in 6th grade (their 3rd year of lessons) so I would say as a flutist and flute teacher that they are progressing well as is their sister (age 10). My son went back to playing and taking lessons after he observed the children's lessons.
I took cello lessons from Dorotea with no prior cello experience, although I did have prior experience playing piano. She was a wonderful teacher, and is incredibly skilled at playing cello. She did a great job explaining techniques in ways that I could understand, and she helped me learn what to listen for so that when I was practicing, I could correct my own mistakes. She would also spend extra time on any techniques I was having trouble with to make sure I learned them well. On top of all this she is just very friendly and a nice person! I highly recommend her, whether you have any prior music experience or not! The only reason I am not still taking lessons with her is that I moved to another state.
I found Victor here on this website for a guitar teacher for my son and when it came down to needing to hire a teacher Victor had followed up with me. So I took advantage of the first free lesson and he's been my sons guitar teacher ever since. Victor is very patient and knowledgeable, the personal attention and care he gives to each individual child is wonderful. You can tell that he has a love for music and this is his passion. I've spoken to other families that he teaches(some for several years) and they all agree. He works well with my son on incorporating styles and songs he is interested in as well as teaching music theory and basics. My son was a beginner 6 months ago and now he is playing full songs confidently. He loves coming to guitar class and learning new techniques, and songs. I plan on continuing until my son can pay for lessons himself. I highly recommend Victor Crisen.
Amy is the best. In addition to being flexible with scheduling, she's an excellent teacher. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your cello playing to the next level, I would highly recommend Amy.
Katy is truly dedicated to teaching the cello and making sure you understand why and how to accomplish the focus of the practice assignments. She encourages you and provides concise support in accomplishing techniques needed to play the instrument. She is a very pleasant person as well.
My daughter Riley absolutely love's her teacher. She has learned so much in just 3 sessions. Looking forward to see what the future holds.
I have over 20 years of experience and have worked with individuals ranging from 6 to 76 years old. I value quality as both a performer and an educator but never at the expense of enjoyment! As a teacher, I share my knowledge through individualized lessons, catering to the goals of the student. As a performer, I play a range of genres and eras and will arrange specific works upon request.

My name is Melissa L., and I am currently employed by the Cecil County Public Schools as a strings teacher. While traveling from four different schools, I am also offering private lessons for strings and piano. I have acquired a degree in music education with a concentration in violin from the University of Delaware. I have been playing the violin for 17 years and also have been giving private violin lessons for the last nine years. Although my main concentration is focused on the violin, I provide private lessons for viola, cello, string bass, and piano. As an educator, I strive to provide students with the knowledge to become highly skilled and competent musicians. Whether music becomes a hobby or profession, I want my students to appreciate and engage in their learning as aspiring musicians. Music has made such a positive impact on my life, and I hope to inspire my students to love the music that they play. The many years that I have played the violin, along with my nine years of private teaching, has given me knowledge of effective techniques to incorporate in my teaching. I hope to be a positive and encouraging role model while engaging my students to their fullest potential as musicians!
I have taught children to play string instruments for 11 years using the Suzuki method! The Suzuki Method requires parent involvement, daily listening and practice as well as regular lesson attendance. It is an educational method that addresses the needs of the whole child with the primary focus of developing life skills through the vehicle of music study. I help families learn to communicate more effectively and practice productively. Each and everyone of our students achieves superior playing ability and chartacter! Ms. Glenda
My students excel in performance and in achieving their goals. By learning to play well, and developing a performance mindset, they enjoy playing with others about their age usually, and competitively for groups they would like to join. There is fun just for the sake of music making itself.
As a Maryland State certified educator, I have over eight years of experience with private music instruction, music ensembles and lesson planning.
