Nema was a kind and extremely knowledgeable tutor. He helped to break down complex concepts for my college-level trigonometry/pre-calculus courses and was able to make the lessons easier to understand. He also has a unique ability to connect nebulous theories to real-world scenarios, which really helps for someone who is a hands-on learner, like myself. After working with him, I received high marks in the class, and went on to complete a degree in international affairs and global health. I now work in international development finance. More than 4 years later, I still remember his humor, skill, humility, patience and mentorship. I would highly recommend him to anyone at any level looking to develop a better understanding and appreciation for math and statistics.

I hired Mougy to work with me to write a paper in a graduate level quantitive analysis class I was taking. Even though he was not familiar with the exact subject matter he took the time to learn what he could in the short time I had to prepare it. Not only was he the reason I got an A on the paper, but I learned more in the few weeks we worked together than I did in the class. I would recommend him to anyone and I am looking forward to working with him again in a statistics class I will be taking later this year. I must also state that his prices are more than reasonable considering he also continued to work with me via phone and email when we did not have the time to get together and work on solving my questions. Mr. Gruber is an excellent tutor for the ACT/SAT. My daughter really liked the tutoring sessions with Mr. Gruber. She found their tutoring sessions productive and helpful. Mr. Gruber is effective, flexible, punctual, professional and his tutoring really made a difference. My daughter's SAT score increased by 100 points and her ACT score increased from a 29 to a 34. We highly recommend Mr. Gruber as a SAT/ACT tutor.

Ben Schwabb/physics & engineering tutor is a real professional: knowledgable, concise, thorough, and presents a well-planned lesson each time. He helped my high schooler pull up his physics grade dramatically and pre-taught an electrical engineering course to my college-age son to get a jumpstart on his fall class. Alex/director is extremely responsive, provides quality tutors quickly, and stays in contact to ensure client satisfaction. Every company should operate this way.

I found Novastar Prep to be very responsive and professional. The tutors placed with my son after an extensive concussion he incurred were very easy to work with, communicate with, and very knowledgeable in each subject area. Novastar will always be my tutor company of choice if needed in the future.

Andrew Sun To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you. Andrew

My daughter is an elementary school students. At one of the teacher-parent meetings last school year we were informed that she has difficulties with understanding certain maths concepts. We decided to find a tutor for her so the problems don't get any worse. We contacted Ms Dominika and she helped our daughter understand the things she had issues with. The atmosphere during their meetings was so friendly that our daughter not only learn a lot but also had fun doing it.

About

I love working with kids and young adults. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics with the goal of teaching at a high school and/or grade school level. My journey in life led to becoming a Ballroom dance teacher. While my career has me work with a typical age range of 25-60, I went to school to inspire, motivate, and help grade school through high school age children. It has never been a goal of mine to simply teach a subject, whether it is math or ballroom dancing. I am dedicated to making a positive change in people's lives and showing them that they can get through anything if they are willing to do the work.
