I have taken Gentle Yoga with Asya at Sun & Moon for years. When I heard that she was offering a more personalized therapeutic class, I jumped at the chance to address my particular problems -- back issues, bad knee, Morton's neuroma in my toes -- all things that made some yoga poses very challenging for me. It was wonderful to have her focus on my issues, and she helped me develop a personal practice to work on these things. Her gentle and encouraging voice, strong knowledge of anatomy, and inventive teaching style made it pleasurable as well as useful.
If I could give her 6 stars I would! I am a tennis teaching professional and my job is very physical. During the last few years I had been experiencing injury after injury which was taking all the enjoyment out of my work. Corey is actually one of my students and she encouraged me to try Yoga with her. I was skeptical at first and thought Yoga was for "other people ". I could not have been more wrong! After one session with Corey I could tell this is exactly what I needed. I have been working with Corey for the last 6 months and I feel 20 years younger! Corey is not only a fantastic Yogini. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in many schools of physical fitness. Like Pilates, Cross Fit, TRX?? She knows it all. Incredibly, her expertise does not stop there. Corey is also a walking repository of nutritional information. Going to Corey is a great value, she just knows so much and is so willing to help! In conclusion, the other thing I like and admire about Corey is that she practices what she preaches. She is in great shape and an athlete herself. As an athlete, that's important to me. I highly recommend you give her a try. You will be glad you did!!
Olga has a profound knowledge of the human body and how yoga can be used to support your body, mind and spirit. I left my one on one session with olga with a specific plan of asanas I can do at home. I also received specific suggestions for my body based on her observations of me. I have been practicing yoga with olga for many years and really appreciate her professionalism and her sense of humor which puts us all at ease. She is always creating fresh plans for each class. I always feel that Olga is always working to find new ways to be of service to her students.
Mark Goldfarb has been my trainer since 1999 and Ive probably been with him the longest of his clients. He is professional in our relationship but also a very caring person. He has researched ways to help train me when I have had an injury or surgery. He has much patience and a way of pushing me when Im not motivated. He is responsive when I have told him that I am unusually sore after a session, adjusting the weights accordingly, and usually spending more time on that muscle. I have sworn that I will never be able to do a certain thing he wants me to do and slowly but surely, I will get there. I like the fact that he uses lots of different approaches to training the same muscle group. It is not only a good way of doing it, but it keeps the workouts from getting boring. Besides the weight machines , he uses bands, bosu balls, straps, discs and a variety of other resources to train. Not only is he interested in building my strength, but increasing my flexibility and balance. In addition, he is a certified yoga instructor and includes many yoga positions in my workouts. This has definitely increased my flexibility. In short, I would highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
Gretchen is my yoga instructor who comes to the house. She comes once a week for an hour, and the sessions are on-going. I engaged Gretchen when my sciatica was at its worst, and I couldn't put on my socks. She has helped amazingly well with increasing my mobility. The best aspect is her flexibilty in schedule and knowledge to tailor the session to my current health situation. I cannot think of anything Gretch could improve. She already provides the yoga equipment I don't have and already is knowledgable how yoga can help (or willing to research if she does not know). I considert Gretchen to be an excellent teacher and an excellent resource for anyone who wants or needs at home yoga instruction.
Welcome to your Wellness has an excellent atmosphere. As a beginner you will not feel intimidated at all. The instructor is very friendly has a very nourishing attitude. And the one thing that I love she has a soothing voice that will put your mind at ease. Highly recommend Welcome to your Wellness yoga anyone!!
This evening I took Natasha's yoga class at LaFitness. This was my first time in her class of which I was impressed. She knew her moves and poses and gave good instruction. Will be attending her class.
Cassy's Yoga class is amazing. The energy in her classes are so peaceful and accepting. I recently just started doing yoga about 6 months ago, and have attended quite a few classes from other schools and instructors; but none comes close to the experiece i got from Cassy's classes. For first time i felt ok with being a beginner in yoga, she provides such a non judgmental space which for me is important. Also the one to one attention you get from her and the other instructor is so helpful !! ohh and the playlist of music in her classes are mind blowing !! for me it put me in such a tranquil state. I highly recommend everyone to try her yoga experience!

Selene's yoga session was great. I felt like I learned so much just from one session about how to do each pose correctly and how to modify poses in a beneficial way when you're not totally there yet. Selene's vibe is accepting, warm and encouraging & I didn't feel pressured to do everything perfectly. At the end of our session I felt rejuvinated in mind, body & spirit. Highly recommend!!
In her class, Grace, provides the perfect environment to experience the healing effects of understanding and knowing your body and its energy. She is knowledgable and readily shares her insights and experiences to benefit everyone in the class. I would go to her class everyday, if I could.
As someone with chronic back pain and a high stress job I cant say enough good things about my private yoga sessions. Valerie's deep knowledge of kinetics, mindfulness, and anatomy have been invaluable in my learning to deal with chronic pain and how to live alongside of it instead of retreating in fear of it. I have had increases in flexibility, awareness and mindfulness since beginning the class and look forward to learning more weekly. Valerie's intuitiveness and willingness to share her knowledge allows us to explore many topics in class while still expanding upon the breadth of the practice. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about yoga, but especially those that may be intimidated by a class or for safety reasons need a more watchful eye.

Fit & Flow provides Thai massage also known as Lazy Man's Yoga and private yoga sessions. The yoga sessions are Christ focused, with a foundational scripture for each session.
