Josh has a very warm, inviting and professional personality. I was scared to death of taking singing lessons but I decided to face my fears and just do it. Josh made the environment very comfortable. He was very patient, not judgmental, very informative. He helped me establish goals with my lessons and I could not be more excited to see where this journey takes me. Thanks again Josh!

I like the atmosphere at Harris Conservatory; it's casual, but professional. As an adult student, I pass teens and children and parents when going to/ coming from lessons. My instructor is a skilled musician. And I live in Plymouth, so it's all walking distance. Definitely a place you should check out for lessons!

I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone interested in piano lessons for their children or themselves! My son started taking lessons with her at age 6, with no musical experience. He loves taking lessons, and we just cannot believe how much he has learned in just one year. Vanessa has a great teaching approach, obviously, since we all know how hard it is to keep little boy's attention! Vanessa does a great job with motivating the kids, and the recitals are such a good opportunity for them to perform in front of groups. Vanessa is personable and very accomodating, and always goes above and beyond.....I feel so lucky to have found her!

I'm a return oboe player and really enjoy the lessons offered by Kaycee. She tries to make me understand with patience on how to make right voices by comparing with real world objects, as a steady basis is the most important for any instrument player. She can accurately judge my every try and give me advice which immediately leads my improvement in next try. She has a studio with warmth. Really learnt a lot from her experience.

Scot is a nice guy and he knows his guitar. He is able to communicate well without getting overly technical and he takes the time to answer questions and make sure the lessons are understood. He is also somewhat flexible in hours as long as you don't go overboard. Overall, it has been a good experience and a good value.

I have been working with Jessica since June 2012 and in the last three years I have learned more than I learned in any choir class or from any other source. Jessica is an outstanding voice teacher. She builds personal relationships with her students and helps them to grow both as singers and as individuals. She is willing to help her students with issues outside of lessons and offers them valuable advice. In addition to being a top-notch vocal instructor, she herself is extremely talented. I would recommend Jessica to anyone looking to grow as a singer.

About

We are primarily a sacred music academy. We teach basic musical skills, Arabic dance, classical music, operatic and other forms of voice, composition, conducting, and contemporary music.

About

I am a Detroit-based singer/songwriter/arranger and producer. I've been teaching voice since high school where I began directing a 70-voice choir and singing in a traveling gospel group w/a fully-appointed band. Since then, I have been teaching others how to sing, as individual performers and in a group setting. Though my primary focus is working with choirs and praise teams, in a church setting, I also currently provide vocal instruction to individuals, groups/ensembles/praise teams, and choirs, covering areas such as: learning to sing melodies, learning to sing in harmony (from basic to complex), learning how to interpret songs/lyrics and to connect with an audience, learning how to sing ad-libs, learning how to perform duets and how to use proper placement of ad-libs. Proper breathing technique, rhythm, conducting/directing and working with musicians in a choir setting are also taught.
