Faced with the daunting task of rehabbing my home from a most unpleasant smoke and soot contamination event I needed a company that could serve as both a cleaning and packing, both in and out, company. Upon researching the matter I quickly learned most “restoration” companies exist to serve only one purpose. Suck up the funds from the insurance company and leave. Another common practice experienced was their “authorization to begin work” was nothing more than a disguised “hold harmless agreement”. You are warned to remove valuables from your home, they are not responsible for further damage or theft from your home by their employees. Additionally, you get all this and if you decide not to hire them they charge an insane amount for an estimate!!! This lead to looking out side the insurance arena. I checked the big “*****List” publications but couldn’t find a company that offered the complete services I was looking for. While discussing the situation with a friend he asked if I checked “Thumbtack.com”. I had never even heard of it before. I quickly searched their site and that is where I found Perfect Order II. Unbeknownst to me at that time, during my first call, my problem was solved. Maria answered and once we cleared the question “does your company provide this type of service?” it was all down hill from there! Maria responded quickly and an estimate was produced quickly. Pricing was well within the insurance guidelines from the very start. Most important to mention though is that in addition to providing pack in and out service along with cleaning this all needed to be done in a synchronized coordination with the painters. This is where Maria really shined. She worked in perfect timing with the painters. She was here running interference, clearing rooms, so the painters could do their job and then she was right back out with her crew bringing up the rear unpacking, cleaning and then putting the rooms back together. I am very grateful to her and her crew for taking a high stress event and resolving the problem quickly, efficiently, honestly, thoroughly, fairly and professionally.
