Make Your Memory is by far the best value you will find for a videographer in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. Nick Worpole is an incredibly talented videographer and editor and absolute professional in every sense of the word. I did all the research and met with 3 potential videographers for my June, 2017 wedding. Nick's easy-going personality and can-do attitude made him stand out, as I was well-aware I would be spending more time with him on my wedding day than almost anyone else. Not to mention I had seen his work and it was nothing short of amazing. I received so many compliments on my wedding day about what a pro Nick was. He has everything under control from ensuring he gets all the right shots, to helping my groom tie his bow tie. Additionally, he is just plain funny and fun to be around. He had multiple members of the bridal party cracking up throughout the day. I can assure you, if you hire Nick and the Make Your Memory team, you will not be disappointed.
Blake and Michael really put in the effort to capture our wedding well. They filmed everything and didnt miss a thing! We couldnt find any other high quality videographers as affordable as B&M in the Twin Cities.
I hired Tom to record a video of my daughter's wedding in May of 2014. I wanted to surprise her with a simple (non-edited) recording of the ceremony. We agreed upon a very fair price for about 90 minutes of video. He arrived on time, was polite and professional, and made a beautiful video of her wedding. There was a slight problem with obstructed views when people stood up, but he covered that beautifully with various views of the chapel, windows, flowers, etc. The video turned out beautiful, lighting was perfect and the audio was clear and at a good volume to hear the music, all readings and exchange of vows, etc. I did pay a very small extra amount for some extra editing (to cover those obstructed views) which I agreed to before he proceeded, and I feel it was necessary and worth it. If I need a videographer again, I would definitely consider using Volga River Video.
very easy to work with and quick to respond, also very good value compared to other videographers! the reason I am doing 4/5 is because the ending of our dance got cut off by the camera, so some of our last moves are not visible. it is not a huge deal, and the video overall turned out great. he did a beautiful intro for me that included one of our wedding decorations. they also allowed me to review the video and ask for any changes. I would recommend!!
Mike did such a fantastic job as our videographer for our wedding. I ended up deciding just 2 weeks before the wedding that I had to have a videographer and used this website. He contacted me immediately and we were able to move forward with the contract within the same day. Mike came very prepared in knowing exactly what I wanted and to get all the right shots. I for sure wanted the ceremony, speeches, and first dances, and he did that plus every other detail from our wedding day. He worked very closely with our photographer which helped everything go smooth. Mike was very timely in getting us our highlight video, full feature video, and even some fun outtakes. He even sent us a link to our video as well as DVDs. Seriously everything is perfect and I know that we will cherish this video forever. If you are looking for someone who will make your day extra special, go with Mike!!
Al Maruggi is, without question, the best, most professional, videographer I have ever worked with. Al was responsible for 100% of the sound, set, lighting, videography, complex post-production editing, and FCPX and Motion 5 work for my extraordinarily complex 3-hour "light board" instructional video — and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. He listened carefully to what my goals were, and then engineered the entire videography process, from initial conception and design, through set work, filming, editing, and post production, straight through to final product playing for me on my own computer. At every step, Al used clear and responsive communication to guide me to decisions that would lead to the highest possible quality product. "You're a well-respected author," he told me more than once. "This has got to be absolutely perfect." I contrast this with other videographers who would come to my events, do a video shoot, and hand me raw video on a thumb drive that I never knew what to do with. Never ONCE did Al leave me hanging, having to make decisions I don't feel qualified to make. He always took me to the next step I needed to make my project perfect. Now I have something that families gladly pay $199 to purchase, and I am proud of it. Whether you need instructional video, corporate video, outdoor/artsy video, or sales and commercial video, I suggest you talk to Al. If you live outside of Minnesota, I suggest you FLY here to work with him. Highest possible recommendation. Five stars. Mike is a complete professional and was so easy to work with. I approached him with an idea that I hadn't really thought all the way through, and he took off with it, producing a precious piece of history for us that I cannot wait to share with family and friends. After one day of filming with Mike, our family considers him a friend, and I would recommend him to anyone in the market for a videographer.
Booking Matt as our videographer was by far the best decision we made for our wedding! He and his team at Made Right Productions were so professional! From the moment we booked emails and phone calls were promptly replied to and the the very reasonable price we paid for such excellent work was well worth all the stress of planning a wedding. Matt made us feel so comfortable just being ourselves, and enjoying our moment. I'm very camera shy so this was a huge bonus! He and the team were also able to capture the best moments from our bicultural wedding, We never felt rushed or that we needed to give cues on what to do it was all very natural. From the moment we shared our video we have gotten nothing but compliments, everyone loves it! Thank you for making our special day even more memorable!!
Please accept our sincere endorsement and highest recommendation of Rich Bowring as a potential vendor for you. Our experience with him, in every facet, was nothing short of exemplary. My husband Walter and I were married October 30, 2010 at St. Peters Church in North St. Paul. Our reception was at the Historic Withrow Ballroom in Hugo. It was a countrywestern/Halloween Theme! We did a middle of the road wedding--not an elaborate wedding, but not a small one, either. We made all our own invitations, programs, favors, bouquets, etc. and cut many corners when we were able. So when we were approached by Rich to do our videography, late into our wedding planning and budgeting, it seemed like just another expense. We now say it was the best money someone could spend towards a wedding! When the cake is gone, the gifts are opened, and the tuxes returned what is left? The video! Your wedding day is such a blur and goes by so fast its helpful to have video to fill in the gaps in your memory of that big day! And an "amateur" video shot by family or friends in the back of the church is farrrrrrrrr from what you will receive with Rich filming! Rich brought a friend along who helped capture many important moments as well, so it was neat to get different angles of each aspect of our ceremony. You will find that Rich does not just take "any video." He spiffs things up! His creativeness and in-depth knowledge for editing and incorporating footage from 2 different video cameras that were filming different views of the same moment was amazing and truly breath-taking. Know he spent hours and hours and hours on our final DVD product. He may even be able to make you some "bonus" footage as he had us microphoned up before the ceremony and caught some of our funny conversation/nervousness/excitement/panic of 'do I have time to go to the bathroom?!' before actually walking down the aisle. haha. We had only met Rich a few times at extended family gatherings (he is my husband's 2nd cousin.) He came a few weeks before the wedding to scope out the space, meet the music director, etc. Throughout the entire process Rich and his friend were friendly, timely, thorough, professional in appearance as well as personality in interactions with us, our vendors, and our guests. They were very non-intrusive with their videotaping. We watch our wedding video more often than we look at our wedding photographs. I cry every time I see it. Photos do not accurately enough catch those emotional moments of tears, or the laughs, the sound of your grandparents voice or a child talking that you will enjoy listening to for years to come. The biggest is the emotional vow exchange he caught during our ceremony as he had a microphone attached to my husbands tie--it comes through very clear! We especially enjoy playing our best man speeches over and over and over again! Our only regret is that we did not have Rich film our entire reception! He divided our video into chapters: ceremony, speeches, 4 minute clip, etc. When we shared the events of our big day with family and friends we always showed the video before the photos! We had extra copies of our DVD made for family members. Rich gave us an email link to share our wedding videos with family and friends who were unable to make it to the wedding. They truly enjoyed this--said it truly portrayed a joyous day and made them feel like they had actually been in attendance! Many of our friends who were already married said they wished they had hired a videographer to do their wedding after seeing our video! (YOU can also see a copies of our videos here on Rich's website if you click on "view full profile" at the top of his page and scroll to the middle of the page to the youtube video.) It is a 4 minute wedding day recap that he made for us just days after our wedding. Very neat snapshot/sneakpeek of what was yet to come. Huge surprise for us! He choreographed it to our first dance song "Soulmate" country song by Josh Turner. So very personalized to our wedding day! Here is a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=s8mnnkMrf_k Then, if you open this youtube video to a full page, you can also view "Annette and Walter Wedding Ceremony" on the far right, another chapter of our wedding Rich filmed for us. If you watch the last 2 minutes of the ceremony you will also see that Rich added a 2 min. "tease" video at the end with another of our favorite country songs: "One Boy, One Girl" by Collin Raye. Finally, here is a video of our first Dance. Again by Josh Turner Country Song "Soulmate" : http://www.rmmstudio.com/Video_Album/Pages/Walter_%26_Annette_first_dance.html Rich had offered to do a powerpoint photo presentation at our reception of our 2 families throughout the years, us growing up, etc. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and were unable to compile an album in time for him to do this, but I have no doubt this too would have been a great masterpiece. We highly recommend Rich not only because he is family but because he does a spectacular job! We guarantee you will not be disappointed with the final result. Please do not hesitate to ask Rich for our contact information if you have any more questions! Annette and Walter Licht, Jr., Woodbury, MN
Noah shot photos and video for our Carlson School MBA Charity Auction in Feb 2016. He was extremely professional and did an incredible job warming up our 500+ attendees with fun pictures and insightful interviews. His videography edits were complete very quickly and he took our feedback into considerations in multiple iterations. Definitely recommend working with Noah!
Adam has always been my go-to for video help. His versatility and professionalism has been amazing to work with. He has the skills to take on projects in any position, within independent and highly collaborative situations. More importantly, I can trust him to be client facing. He always knows what I am looking for, and quickly and efficiently adjusts if otherwise. All around a great videographer! One of the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with!
PhotogFilms are professionals and did an outstanding job capturing the experience of our wedding day from getting ready to the last dance. Everything they captured was from multiple angles and in pristine 4K resolution (sorry other guys, but 1080p just doesn't cut it anymore--I want to watch my wedding day on our down the road anniversaries in 4K). Everything shot was all sharp and in focus, even the low-light night time stuff looked good. They even put a wireless lab mic on myself and our wedding speakers so we could have professional sounding audio. Jim and Ashley-- the young husband & wife team that are PhotogFilms-- were super friendly and great when it came to directing, logistics, and continuity-- things like reminding us to not leave the hotel room without our wedding rings so we could have them for the photos and videos we took before the ceremony, offering to give some of the wedding party a ride in their car to the next location so we didn't have to take another taxi, and also blocking out some of the shots to make them look more cinematic. All around, a very good experience, although I wish we got our video sooner, but that's to be expected if the vendors you work with are busy and take their time to finish the job right. If you need wedding videography you won't be disappointed by PhotogFilms.
Ryan and his Modern Image Film & Video Productions company have done an excellent job for us over the years. He has helped us make a number of videos for a few of our websites, and they are not only excellent, but have great staying power. The videos convey a feeling using a combination of video effects, music, content, and rhythm that helps convey a broader message to our clients. Every time that we review our website for updates, we always seem to note that our videos are still spot on and perfect - that is what a good videographer does, is make something that stands the test of time.
Nations shot a music for me last fall and was not only super easy to work with and talented, but made sure to value my vision while also brining his own creative flare to the project. 10/10 videographer and person in general!
Great experience with the filming project, felt supported but not overrun, he had excellent time management (so rare in film it seems like), and worked well with everyone in the shoot.
RAW event studio exceeded all my expectations. Our wedding day ran smoothly and stress free with the help of the raw team. I highly recommend them as photographers and videographers. You will not be disappointed in the quality of work they deliver, we were blown away and have memories that will last a lifetime
I've contracted Rival Mind Media LLC on multiple occasions, for projects ranging from short KickStarter videos to in-depth internal training videos for national corporations, from creative to corporate. In my experience, Rival Mind Media has always delivered on-time, above my expectations for quality. Samantha Hanus is a very talented videographer, editor, and project manager. The team she utilizes is also highly skilled and specialized. Rival Mind Media LLC has my strong, unequivocal endorsement.
Jerry is an awesome videographer! The best I have seen in the area, he is very professional and produces some of the best video I have seen!
Charles and Michael are owners and signature videographers of Forever Films. Each has spent much time developing their skills and appreciation for capturing the amazing experience of weddings on film forever. Together they have assembled a hand-picked team of other talented and dedicated videographers who are devoted to capturing your wedding for you, perfectly as you desire. Hire a professional: most "videographers" are shooting on old equipment. This can be very unreliable and pose a lot of problems. Also, many "videographers" are older and have been in the broadcast field for years and are doing this as a side gig. Here is the other problem: in the wedding business because most weddings are on the weekends, many people are weekend 'wedding warriors'. They do this as a side job and it shows. They are used to shooting news from 500 feet from the scene on a tripod, not the groom launching the bride into his arms on the dance floor. This style is much different. At Forever Films, we do video all day, every day. So we are professionals with a vested interest, not weekend amateurs. Say cheesy? Why are most wedding videos so cheesy? Here is a simple answer to a great question: most "videographers" shoot their video in the North American Broadcast Standard of 30 frames per second. This is also the frame rate that soap operas are shot in (now you know why soap operas are so weird feeling). The problem is this removes the cinematic feel that movies have. Whats the difference? A movie is shot on film at a rate of 24 frames per second. We mimic film cameras digitally and shoot your wedding at 24 frames per second instead of 30 frames per second. This takes all the cheese out of your wedding, and gives your film a special warm and familiar feeling. Lastly, our videos are treated as creative art pieces that cannot be replicated by anyone other than the artist, every one is unique. We at Forever Films believe in what we do and that is why we are committed to serving you. Warmly, Charles & Michael
