Latest Review: Let me preface this with ‘getting in shape is difficult’. No one can do the work for you and there aren’t any shortcuts. Once you’ve come to accept that a personal trainer can open the door but it’s entirely on you to walk through it, then I think you are ready for Carl.
He is, by a mile, the best personal trainer I’ve ever had. He’s not only fluent in physiology but also discipline. Carl developed a curriculum for me to achieve my personal goal of getting into good enough shape to attract a mate (i.e. muscle building and burning fat). Good news is it’s working. It’s working great. I look and feel better than ever. Bad news, I still haven’t found that special someone…. maybe it’s my personality… in any case, Carl’s got the secret sauce.
To give you an idea of some of the things he has me doing; back/overhead/front squats, deadlifts, power cleans, burpees, pullups, dips, sprints, and so much more. Not only did he show me what I should be doing and how often, he pushes me to my full potential.
Lastly, he’s getting high on his own supply. Normally this is a bad thing. Not in this case. I’ve never been able to respect out-of-shape physical trainers. Why would you take drawing classes from someone who is a terrible draw-er? Same applies to fitness. Carl is a physical specimen. He’s a walking, talking testament to the efficacy of his methods.
Not for the faint of heart. But then again, if getting in shape was easy everyone would do it. It’s an exclusive club and Carl is the best person to help you earn your admission.
