I've been working with Vince for a few weeks now and I have to say that I am loving it! He is helping me nurse a previous back injury back to health while still challenging my muscle strength and stimulating muscle growth. He is very personable and attentive. There are certainly personal trainers who only show up, train you, and leave but that is not Vince! He always happily answers my texts and keeps communication open between sessions. Looking forward to seeing my results as the next few months progress and we keep working together.

7 months ago when I started I was out of shape – I had gotten so bored with the typical routines at the gym that I just stopped going. Between that and past leg injury, I could hardly execute many ‘normal’ movements/ exercises. Brad has a wonderful understanding of the human body and was able to pinpoint exactly why and where I was getting held up. He worked with me to provide additional stretches and exercises to improve my mobility. Now it’s pretty incredible how far I’ve come. I am constantly blown away at what I’m able to do and how my body is continually transforming. I see the same progress in others too. The atmosphere is wonderful! I honestly have a great time every time I go to train. I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like at Stone Strength. I am constantly meeting new people from all backgrounds and age groups. One of the best things is the team atmosphere. I grew up an athlete, always part of a team. After college it was a pretty odd feeling no longer being part of a team or competing. I really missed that. At Stone Strength I finally have that back! I highly recommend anyone and everyone to Stone Strength. No one is too old, young or broken. Brad us by far one of the best trainers I have ever had the pleasure to work with (and I have worked with my fair share of personal trainers, sports therapy rehab specialists, etc.). His expertise, great personality and positive attitude will not disappoint!
I hired Christine three months ago to help me lose 25-30 pounds, lower my sugar levels as I am a Type 2 diabetic and improve my overall fitness. I was pretty scared when I first agreed to train with her- I'll be honest. I was not overweight, but I was very out of shape and most trainers really push you. The first few workouts were really challenging as expected for me but Christine was amazing. She designed each workout specifically around me, took her time to teach me proper form (which is so important), and pushed me to limits I never knew I could reach. Three months later, not only have I lost some weight and inches, but I feel like a new person. I am doing things and wearing clothes I have not in years. My 6 year old daughter has joined us for most of our sessions and Christine has gotten her to love exercise. Exercise has become a daily routine at our house and that's something no other program or trainer was able to do. Combined with proper diet, her training sessions will transform your body. If you do as she asks, you wont regret hiring her. I promise. =)
Adam is a wonderful personal trainer. He's always on time and prepared to kick my butt and his training doesn't stop at the end of 60 minutes. He checks in with me as much as I need and is encouraging and supportive without being enabling. He just gets it -- what it means to set goals and I'm truly believe that your goals become his goals and, because of that, he's invested from day one.
Blake is great. I have worked with trainers for years, but he was the only one to identify small issues of posture that were adversely affecting my balance and strength. He kept careful notes of progress and what needed further work. I miss working with him very much. He also happens to be a good guy and very involved in community charities.
I've been a client since March 2015. My sons wedding was quickly approaching and realized I needed help getting in shape (fast). Through Summer support, both mentally and physically, I got in the best shape of my life...even at age 45!!! I've never felt more confident, stronger, and sharper mentally than I have in the recent months. Like most people, I've worked out in group settings like crowded/stinky gyms, boot camps, Zumba classes and CrossFit. I was grouped with others and didn't get the results I was looking for and eventually looked for reasons not to go. So when a friend suggested G2 with Summer and Aaron, I thought what do I have to lose. I found the setting warm and inviting, not intimidating. She was professional and took time to get to know me. She didn't judge me and started me at MY individual level. In addition to my workouts, she educated me on lifestyle changes and how they would help me. My workouts are personalized and beneficial to my body and lifestyle. I highly recommend G2 (Summer and Aaron) to anyone looking for a personal trainer to help reach their goals.
Kyle has proven to be an excellent designer of the activities I need to keep making progress with issues in my neck, my right shoulder, my lower back and both legs. We are currently strengthening and making more flexible the muscles in my thighs, my core, and my neck area. I judge my progress by what activities I can do and how my flexibility and stamina progress. Since Kyle and I started on this extended period of personal fitness, I climb stairs without difficulty, I can carry small loads up and down stairs, I can drive my car 250 miles without agony, I can now play 9 holes of golf without pain and stiffness, I am currently extending my golf to 15 holes twice a week and 9 holes once a week (the extension does cause stiffness the next day), and both the strengthening and the flexibility exercises Kyle has me do for my lower back have proven very helpful. All of Kyle’s activities are designed to be done in a fluid motion, involving many muscle systems, requiring coordination between systems, and are carefully controlled in frequency and intensity. If the reader has not seen a personal trainer ever, or not in the last 7-10 years, the reader will be amazed at how different these new techniques are than the times when we used more static weight lifting routines. As a person, Kyle cares deeply about his clients’ welfare, is very easy to work with, and absolutely insists that he deliver therapies that will work and are individualized for the client. He is knowledgeable, respectful, tactful, careful, and challenging. He continuously monitors the activities, their conduct, and their effectiveness. I have found Kyle to be a trainer I can respect. I was pretty nervous about going to a Personal Trainer because this was my first time hiring a pro. Amy knows her stuff. I've never had a personal trainer invest so much in form and injury prevention. She is extremely motivating during workouts and pushes you to limits you never thought possible.
I trained with Tia for a couple years and I can honestly say she's the best!!! She was a great encourager and at the same time willing to always push me to grow and do more then I thought I could. she is an amazing athlete with years of experience and a heart of gold. I would reccomend her to anyone-from beginners to seasoned athletes without reservation.
Garmenn is fantastic! Being a mom with a full time job I rarely get time to myself. I started training with Garmenn with no goal besides getting some "me" time in. Having trained with trainers before I was nervous, for I was often pushed to just max out and lift heavy weights only. Or, even worst, constantly pestered with eating right when I wasn't even looking to lose weight. Garmenn was different, he listened to what I wanted and what I liked to do in the gym. He completely changed my body! It never gets boring, he always switches up the training from HIIT to lifting heavy weights, and even asks if I have any special requests. All I have ever wanted was to feel great, be healthy and gain some confidence along the way. I've always been a big runner and working with Garmenn has even helped me shave over a minute off my mile time! My best advise to anyone thinking about training would be to stop thinking about it, pick up the phone and schedule your first session today! What do you have to lose?! And you will make a friend along the way!
They bring the equipment and the expertise to you, what a great concept! I wasn’t sure what to expect but what a great workout, I'm still feeling it after a few days. Professional, courteous and very convenient for my busy schedule. They were on-time, setup everything, got an hour workout in and then the trainer was gone on to his next client, no wasting time just a good solid workout that is long overdue. Can’t believe I’m saying this but looking forward to my next session, I know I’ll be sore but it means I’m moving again.
