Voice lessons with Johanna are a real treat! Johanna focuses on your specific needs - and makes CD's of your lessons, with you singing and her playing keyboards. It makes practicing more fun - and you will be able to hear your progress! Plus, she sings/plays locally, which is great inspiration!
Joe is a very knowledgeable individual in the art of music production, sound synthesis, and audio engineering. I really enjoyed the lessons I took under him in the past.
Dr. Warren has the back of listening to the older student who simply wants to sing with her to condition her voice, and relearned notes and counting beats. I recommend her for any short-term program.
My daughter enjoys her voice lessons and ensemble with Mr. Steve immensely! I appreciate his ability to work with kids at a professional level and still make it fun and exciting!
Leslie works with my 12 year old son weekly, training him in the areas of voice/singing, acting, piano, and commercial voiceover and on-camera. She cares very deeply for her students and with positive reinforcement and individualized training, helps them to grow -- nurturing their talents and attaining their goals by acquiring and developing real skills. Leslie so often goes the extra mile, putting in far more time and effort than would be expected in that quest to see her students succeed. In the two years she has been my son's teacher, I have not only seen his talents develop, but I have seen his confidence grow immensely. She is not only a wonderful teacher but, in addition, because of her background and years of personal experience as a true working professional in the industry, she is also knowledgeable about the ins and outs of what it takes to become a stage, film and commercial actor/artist. She has been able to share so much information with us in order to help my son down this path. I am so grateful that Leslie is available to mentor my son with her skills as a talent and a teacher and impart "real world" knowledge of the "business" with us. I would highly recommend Leslie to any and all who desire proper training and guidance in the performing arts. Mandy P.
Philip is a wonderful and encouraging teacher. I am learning a lot, quickly and having fun in the process. He is showing me how I can link piano scales to guitar scales and raise my musicianship in general.
Jennifer is a paid soloist in my church choir and I work with her every week there. She has been music director and acted in several local theater productions. She has a beautiful voice, tremendous talent, and a great work ethic.
This is my first time taking up professional vocal training. I wasn't sure how I'd do with vocal lessons because I don't have a lot of confidence in my singing. I'm really hard on myself when I mess things up, but Ms. Jennifer was so easy with me and explained things in ways so I could understand them well. Her exercises aren't overly complicated, which makes it easier for me to practice at home and I don't get frustrated so easily. She's a patient and sweet instructor, and I'm excited to see how I improve over the next year!
My daughter took voice lessons from TJ over the summer. Her singing improved quite a lot and TJ was great to work with.
I decided to take voice lessons because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and learn more about singing. Isaiah explained techniques and exercises and also improved my range. He provided exercises to relax my throat/larynx- didn't realize how tense I was. I never felt overwhelmed or that I was not performing well. Together we met my goals and I would recommend him highly.
Dan is an incredible teacher. Through his voice teaching, he is strengthening my daughter’s self confidence and passion for music and musical theater. His classes are not just singing. It’s the science behind it where he teaches her how the body and it’s organs work to sing. It’s learning to create her character. It’s learning to read music. It’s body awareness. It’s understanding that every area, even one you love, has difficult parts or areas you don’t enjoy, but you work on your broccoli because it makes you stronger. He does all this in a positive manner. It’s really impressive.
I am proud of the fact that I have had a full and varied career performing in different genres. Because of this, I am able to assist a greater number of students move in the direction of their choice.
In addition to the prestigious institutions that I have attended, I have also had the opportunity to teach many clients. One of my greatest experiences and proudest moments was being selected to be a professor's assistant at my University, which meant I would be lecturing a course to freshman students regarding important, difficult concepts. In addition to the students I have fought before this, I was able to greatly improve my lecture and teaching ability at the university level, and regularly receive feedback from established professors at the University.
My passion is teaching Music. I teach arias (German, Italian, French and Spanish), opera, country, gospel, hip-hop, voice-overs, rock, R&B, etc. I also teach drums ( timing, general knowledge, cadence, and rhythms, etc. I have a proven track record of techniques used to induce a smooth singing voice and techniques for drummers to increase skill level. Whether it's for an event, career, or just for personal knowledge, I'm here to get you to where you want to be with your voice and hands!
I've been emerged in what I do, and work on it every day. I have performed with several chamber choirs, and state choirs, and have a lot of experience with learning, and performing, and just the art of it in general.
I provide private voice, piano and other instrumental lessons! Check out my website for more information regarding the services, costs, and availability!
I've got a BM in vocal performance and I sing and write songs for a living! I teach students of all ages/abilities on a range of styles - - from Classical to Rock to Jazz.
I provide multiple "platforms" for learning and creating music. Performing over 45 weeks a year, I know how to provide tools for singer longevity, strength and flexibility in vocal performance and speech. I teach piano lessons. I also have several techniques for learning to read and improvise on the piano. Additionally, my lessons incorporate music theory and ear training. As a performing musician, I am aware of physical issues that are unique to musicians, and I can provide personal training program exercises for musicians.
I teach beginner to intermediate guitar lessons. I also teach singing, songwriting, recording and performance techniques. I have been singing and playing out for over 23 years. I have been writing songs for 20 years, and I have been recording for 23 years.
I have a very wide range of musical influences which has helped me assist all kinds of students with their musical goals, from folk acoustic guitar to jazz piano to progressive rock to hip-hop and electronic music - I really feel at home in any setting and can relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. I play a myriad of instruments and like to help my students develop a strong understanding of the theory behind what they know so they can explore the patterns further.
