Though we haven't started our training yet, Joel's understanding of canine behavior; his time spent during the initial, no cost, assessment, recommendations for pre-training preparations, promptness and demeanor leads us to believe we will be successful. Several weeks after training starts we will follow up and let you know how things are progressing.
Karen was very quick to respond, and a very gracious woman to work with. Her employees are a direct reflection of her and her company. They cleaned my house better than any company or person had ever done in the past, and in record time AND we own 2 large dogs. 😳 I have already booked them again and can’t wait to continue this new relationship which will make my life easier and cleaner! Thx so much Karen and company!!🤗
We have completed our first of 3 sessions and Lena was excellent with not only the dog but the 'humans' in the house as well. She was very deliberate in her approach and gave specific home work for me and my son. Our dog, Joey is responding already, though we have more work to do. I feel confident I selected the right professional for my dog's needs.
Very thoughtful, and great groomer. I took my dog to the dog bar this past weekend and another groomer even complimented on my dogs haircut! Thanks Kathleen!
Home Away Pets goes above and beyond to take great care of our two dogs. They are very professional, friendly, and conscientious. Most highly recommended.
I have worked with Holland K9 services for 3.5 years and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone. When we adopted our dog Buddy, he was so high energy that we had to let him run off leash to burn that energy off and be a happy dog. However he was completely unresponsive to commands off leash, and would charge (friendly and excited, but still) any dog or person he spotted. After a bad experience with another dog training group, we found John. He helped us to transition to using an E-collar (shock collar) in order to enforce off-leash commands. I was initially nervous about that type of training due to our prior experience but with John it went great. Buddy was never fearful like he was with the other trainers. Our dog became wonderful and basically 100% reliable off-leash, and all of us were so much happier. We hired him again when we got our second dog, and he helped us train her as well as brush up Buddy on his skills again. Training with him is definitely worth every cent.
We started training our 1yr old standard poodle with the goals of controlling her anxiety. Getting her to respond to commands when she’s distracted, walking better on a leash, with the ultimate goal of being able to run and walk with her safely off leash. I liked that Kevin caters the training to the individual dog and owner, and he taught me how to work with her. After two sessions and me doing my homework she’s walking better and calmer around other dogs. I ran with her for a couple miles off leash and she stayed close to heel the whole time. When we passed a cross country team going the other direction she started getting excited but I told her to “heel” and she tucked back and trotted right past. When we passed a couple other dogs she did the same thing. We’re thrilled!
Mariah has been wonderful with my dog. She has been able to personalize his training experience to best meet his needs. Mariah has helped me understand how he learns so that I am better able to train him and bond with my puppy. I feel confident that Mariah will help my dog know basic obedience!
We've had great experiences with Happy Tailz! Very trustworthy, caring and professional which gives me the peace of mind when traveling. I have a 6 year old Labradoodle who gets anxiety when left alone or at a kennel. I can tell she is well taken care of by Melody because I come home to a happy and health dog. I would highly recommend Happy Tailz to anyone looking for a pet sitter and/or dog walker.
Laura clearly has a way with dogs - my female can be tough on strangers but took to Laura right away! I'm looking forward to engaging her again.
Angie with Furever Home Training was and still is my very first choice and recommendation for dog training and behavior. She is so incredibly experienced and knowledgable, and her classes are so fun! I took my aussie mix puppy, Banjo, through her puppy class and Canine Good Citizenship class. Both were invaluable parts of Banjo's growth, socialization, and training. We live in Indiana now but I STILL trust Angie with my training questions from time to time. With Banjo still in those tricky teenage pup months, I only wish we were still close by! Anyone considering dog training needs to check Furever Home Training out. Be it in group classes or private sessions, Angie is patient, so awesome at her job, and it doesn't hurt that she is super affordable too. Banjo and I miss you Angie! Lots of woofs and love from Indy!
Darrell was very good to my dog Eddie, he did a great job grooming and handling Eddie. Eddie is not a very friendly dog. Darrell handled him with kindness. I will never take my dog to anyone else but Darrell. He is the BEST !!!!!
Blair has been an amazing resource in helping me work through issues with my shy dog who also displays some dog aggressive behaviors. She is clear and concise when answering questions and does a fantastic job at getting to the underlying issues of behaviors. It is clear she loves her job and cares about dogs. She is also great at working with people and helping them learn how to create lasting change in their dogs. I would highly recommend Blair for any help with anything dog training needs!
Rae at On All Fours was the answer to my prayers for my 9 year old rescued Basset Hound, Lucie. I recently moved to the area and work long hours over 30 miles away. I visited doggie day care facilities and Lucie was terrified of them. When Rae first came over to meet Lucie, she took right to her and I knew everything would be ok. Rae is very professional and organized and is a wealth of knowledge about dogs. She comes to my home to let Lucie out and plays with her while I am at work, has taken care of her out of my home when I have been on short trips out of town and recently took care of her for a long out of town trip. She sends me pictures of Lucie and leaves notes each time she visits to let me know what took place during each visit. Rae even found a groomer that can trim Lucie's nails (not an easy task) without sending her into a frenzy. On All Fours is an important part of Lucie's quality of life and I could not be a good doggie mom without their help.
Nothing could have been done better. I have many cats & a yorkie dog and some of my pets needed medication. It is like taking care of a small shelter and often difficult for me. Every single task was done excellent. I could tell from the "meet & greet" they would be "the one" to take care of my many pets from the questions they asked and the way they asked them. I loved that I was kept informed how things were going by text while I was gone. The lady that took care of my pets went beyond in her care of them and also in being so extra considerate for things to be neat for my return. I thought anyone would be overwhelmed from the care of so many pets with so many different needs because I often am myself. I am forever grateful for the wonderful care and I will certainly be using them exclusively.
I have never had a pet sitter stay overnight for my dogs but met Darlene and she was so nice, professional and my dogs loved her. She has dog sit for me twice and am very pleased with Darlene. Would not let anyone else sit with them. Always keeps me updated on them and sends pics of them. Has definitely put my mind at ease!!!
Melissa did a fantastic job on our house. She was professional, kind , and very good at what she does. She made sure I was completely satisfied with the job before she left.
I am out of town a lot, so Will from Dog Pro services takes care of my dog Bruno. I like that he also trained my dog with basic obedience. Training was easy and it's affordable Will is an awesome guy.
The Grooming Lady was fantastic! She graciously accommodated two elderly dogs by traveling to their home for grooming thus elevating as much stress for them and this owner. She was very professional, thorough and efficient and they looked and smelled wonderful - can't ask for more than that! Highly recommend her!
I wish we would have come to Carolina Canine Training years ago! Within the first day, my dog made HUGE gains in his behavior. I think the majority of the training was not even for Cooper, it was for me to learn how to communicate more effectively with him so that expectations were clear. Liz was such a great teacher! Her directions were clear and effective, and she really made learning fun. I would recommend Carolina Canine to anyone who wants a better-behaved, responsive dog. There is hope!
