“A great time was had by all” – at a "hands-on" cooking class that Chef Tyler did for 16 future homeowners at Trilogy Lake Norman. We asked him to design a cooking lesson, advertised it to our future home owners, gave him access to one of the kitchens in our Model Gallery, and he just did his thing. WOW! The follow-up questionnaires rated the event 9.4 for “fun”, 9.5 for “Chef’s knowledge”. How do you follow that? Simple - We are scheduling additional “Cooking Classes with Chef Tyler!”
Michelle is awesome!!! Her personable, friendly and caring personality is what makes her so special. Michelle went above and beyond for the memorial service held in memory of my brother. Due to all the stress of planning the service I forgot to order dessert, Michelle reminded me and not only did she make suggestions for options but she took time out of her busy schedule to go out of her way on the day of the service to bring desserts to me. She thinks of everything. I recommend Michelle to everyone for any type of event. Also, the food was amazing, seasoned just right! Everyone raved about how well the food taste. She uses only fresh vegetables, which by the way were delicious! And last but not least, Michelle is very professional. Michelle gets a 10 star rating in my book!!!
Jim was awesome! He put us on the schedule with only 3 days to plan. The Italian food (pasta, salad, and bread) was phenomenal and he provided us with everything we needed: warmers, plates, utensils, drinks, ice, etc! I would highly recommend him for any event that needs catering!
Jessica Luntz is a professional who is organized, experienced, communicative and did I mention she can cook! I totally enjoyed the experience with Jessica and Saucy Spoon Cooking from the beginning stages of selecting a menu to the end where after the meal she left the kitchen immaculate. I would encourage anyone considering a chef led cooking class/demonstration or dinner party to contact Jessica immediately!
My coworkers and I had a GREAT time during our cooking class with The Cook Nook. Catherine was very professional and knowledgeable , she was very helpful, and made the class fun. We learned how to correctly hold a knife, chop vegetables, and my favorite part, make homemade egg rolls! I’d recommend Catherine and The Cook Nook 1,000%!!

Overall very impressed and already planning my next event with him after the new year. The food was great and my family loved the brunch he prepared. The plan ended up being different than what was originally agreed to but was all positive. I had asked for the food to be dropped off but Chef Thomas ended up cooking the food on site. He even made a special banana foster with leftover ingredients for the waffles. Chef Thomas is just starting off in his career so I'd say be willing to be flexible as he continues to perfect his craft- well worth it!
The company I work for brought Carol in for her Empower Wellness Classes. I had never thought about seeing a Nutritionist. Fortunately for me I was going through a rough time. I had been treated for what they thought was a stroke and for what they thought were seizures in different trips to the emergency room. Going in by ambulance only to walk out a few hours later not knowing why or what was happening. Then I was diagnosed with Reactive Hypoglycemia. Basically this came from my own research and pushing. My general practitioner didn't believe the problems I was going through. Even when my sugar level tested at 37 during a physical. The endocrinologist just told me to be careful with my diet. They were treating me like a diabetic. This is totally different. Carol touched on the subject in class and I asked her about it. That's when my changes started. She completed a hair analysis that found I was low on minerals due to some digestive problems from having the Noro Virus. She told me what to do and what minerals to take to eliminate my problems. I went from a constant battle of passing out several times a day back to living a normal life. I have changed my diet and I am taking the minerals I need. At this time, I have very little to no problems with the hypoglycemia depending on how I eat and exercise. I guess you could say Carol changed or saved my life. We are still working to get my system totally correct but basically I am back to living a normal life. I can eat in restaurants again, I can go out at night and I can travel again. My sugar levels are remaining normal. They say that reactive hypoglycemia can lead to diabetes because the pancreas wears out from over producing insulin. I hope we have eliminated this possibility or pushed it further down the road. Thank you Carol Green for giving me my life back. Mike Taylor

We heard about Kyle from a friend who worked with him at The Pearl in Laguna Beach. Knowing that Thd Pearl is a world class health retreat we decided that we should talk to him. We immediately knew that Kyle would be the perfect person to welcome into our home and who could help us attain our goals through a new diet regeim. He prepared deliciois and creative food for us and we were able to eat more and loose weight quickly and in a healthy way. Kyle was fun to have around in the kitchen and always cleaned up perfectly. He filled our refrigerator with healthy clean food all labeled and packaged for easy consumption. We miss Kyle and hope that someday he will come back to Laguna Beach !!!
